About Factom, Nasdaq investor, $750k, that s an interesting news. Getting real institutional investors into crypto would be something which could propel not only Factom but also other coins to unimaginable heights.
But, as usual, it seems to me this will be short lived cause Factom favorite dumpers ll take advantage of this opportunity to skim some profits, which s totally fine. As long we have this kind of liquidity, I m happy.

This is good news, more investment by solid industry players. Gives more confidence to us little people holding the FCT  Waiting for a solid wallet now ... Great, factom received funding again, it is another $750000 round fund invested. So far factom has received 2000 BTC from crowdfunding, and VC, factom keeps delivering, and make the software to support banks for further using. Factom was one of the best projects to invest from the very start. Early investors are in great profits today. There are positive signs for future growth as well but all depends on adoption of the technology and successive funding rounds. I have a strong position of FCT in my portfolio. I bought a lot when the price was below $1 and forum was crying of crashing FCT  |

I dont think the beta will be released on the 10th there are some problems with syncing factom blockchain Edit: beta is still on just some misunderstanding |

Yeah, I really don't get this. So much good news gets posted about Factom but it never really seems to influence the price that much. Getting grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Homeland Security, Investments by Tim Draper, Medici etc etc. Other coins would kill for this kind of news and progress and would pump x2 x3 in the shortest amount of time after news release. |

Yes somewhat confusing, although I think the margin/shorting may have something to do with it keeping it from taking off. Although when you look at it from a purely price/marketcap point of view we are at the all time highs You can see the first resistance at 31MM marketcap and how it bounced off recently. Trend is up though ...  |

That's true. FCT is a unique coin. It will be fun when to start inflation but the price isn't risen. |

I ve been thinking about this as well. However, if you follow the market carefully, you ll see we have a whale/whales who time their transactions perfectly to keep Factom inside of their +/-3% loop and they do not allow any significant change from that pattern. So yes, Factom s been trapped by these people and wont move until we see a really, really, REALLY big push to trap their coins. |

Its easy to crash fct price if people lend their factoids for 0.005% if that doesnt stop factom wont go anywhere unless some very big news comes out

Who cares... As if Exodus wallet is going to change anything. The price didn't react to the rumor of Exodus. It will go up and stay up when the whale wants it to go up, news or no news. Lots of people might withdraw their money from margin lending if there is a decent and user friendly wallet. If there s no cheap margin lending money, dumpers will have hard time getting Factoids to play with. It might affect the price. So it s not about the news, it s about quantity of unused Factoids being lent on Polo margin lending. |
