The truth does not fear questions... I don't know what fud you are talking about.

Who said anything about .5btc... This community's attitude as a majority has already alienated and kicked many investors asking questions..

It is a shame the ico is lower then expected by great proportions but it is of your own devices.  Calling someone like me a liar with the assumption I am a poor investor about sums things up.

Let me get you a tissue Cry

1) Nobody called you a liar
2) SLK community is always more than happy to answer legitimate questions. They even respond with niceties like "sorry for the misunderstanding" and the such.
3) ICO has done just fine, yes not the windfall that was hoped for but many investors are leary of ICO's. Had you been around for the last couple years you would know why.
4) Those that miss this ICO will be kicking themselves guaranteed. The tech is there, the forward thinking minds are there and the follow through are there.
5) Don't think I am flaming you but noob accounts that get into pissing matchs are typically nefarious in nature.

Invest or don't. Either way, those of that have followed and trusted this team win.

Oh and nom nom nom to the cheap SLK on trex. How many storm nodes is too many?  Tongue

Where is Darksilk to be traded? I cannot find reference to the market anywhere.  I am following but this thread is confusing! ;-)

Which big partnerships are at risk?

Polo cut them loose with no warning despite having a whole bunch of active devs working on the coin.
Off the top of my head could name a dozen inactive scam coins still listed on polo, raised support tickets asking why those coins weren't removed too. Was fruitless, but made me feel better.
In retrospect, it's not hard to understand really, they are terrified of the name.

Polo just looking after themselves, and rightly so. I'm not blaming them, they a huge US registered company, you think they want any association with Silkroad and Dread Pirate Roberts? That guy is a convicted criminal and will be in jail for life. Even when it's a ridiculous false association, still matters.

It's a proper move to rebranding, I strongly support. Reckon the tech is unique in crypto and you guys would have done well regardless, superficial as it is, simply changing name means a lot to outsiders.

I loved the camel personally, but shit changes, and you gotta deal with that, does anyone name their kid Adolf anymore? Fuck no.

Well reading back it appears polo gave them two years warning to release any update which didn't happen so the coin was removed.

Doesn't appear the name had anything to do with it. I am interested to know what partnership would cause a rebranding in the middle of an ico and shortly after a coin launch.

Everything will be announced in due time.

Well there is a poll so to decide would need to know the reason for the name change.  Is it Microsoft azure? I hear that I'd big for coins and Microsoft doesn't like drugs like this coin currently is promoting.

The entire focus and direction in terms of the business carried out by the team and company behind the the two blockchains will change, yes.

Please explain why the direction would need to change due to a rebrand?

The rebranding has to happen because of the direction change. Not the other way around.

If we want to exist and evolve in the business world and forge partnerships, then the branding and name has to change.

OK well that makes a bit more sense.

Ive voted yes to a rebrand although ill seriously miss the original silk name and the camel etc.
It would be a shame to see us loose big partnerships for the sake of a name.

Which big partnerships are at risk?
