1. How long did it took you to break even with the investment?
2. What was your worst thing/loss? What was the best?
3. How long have you been using the BOT? How often and what is your real gain till now ( in % is enough)? 1. i didn't use CAT long enough yet - too busy and still trying to find perfect setup. 2. i am struggling to have really good statistics - since i am not only trading with CAT, I am still struggling to find out how much it really gained me in total - however every time i tested/used it, i had 10-30 successful ping pong cycles of 0,6-1% gain each. then i think once or twice i had a 5% stop loss triggering.... but as said i am not using it long enough. 3. really using less than a month, however i got the license half a year already, its complex, but when you get the hang of it i imagine it is really cool to have a tool trade for you all day on that many markets. I can only say - Sampey is doing super good support and is usually online/replying very quickly and straight forward helping. the software works well so far, but it is complex, as mentioned here its not a "set and forget" auto trading bot, it's a bot that needs you to select the right markets, do the right setup for that market situation and monitor it (monitor more if you have your setup less perfect, monitor less if you have set up more precisely covering all the situations that can appear. |

Hey guys, sure someone who is using CAT frequently knows that - sorry if i am asking again, but i have to be sure about this and its hard for me to find out/calculate. when a ping-pong is complete, in GAINS tab, there is TOTAL FEE and TOTAL GAIN. now just to be sure: no matter what market or exchange i trade, no matter how high TOTAL FEE is, even if it is bigger than TOTAL GAIN, i still have TOTAL GAIN, since it is the gain after subtracting total fees of the trade, correct? cause i was trading the other day and found that FEE was always higher than GAIN - it's still - gain is after all the fees, the TOTAL gain of that ping/pong cycle, right? like here: 2018-01-25 21:56:08 NEO/BTC BUY 2.93394785@0.01222007 -> SELL 2.92658365@0.01229339 Gain 0.00003521 Fee 0.00017936 (0.00008941+0.00008995) Total Market Gain 0.00050109 Global Market Gain 0.00050109 thanks! |

did you press the UPDATE Button on the market panel?
Because the LOAD ON CURRENT PARAMETER PANEL doesn't update your running algorithm, but only load the parameters on the GUI yes i would have pressed update but the problem was that the parameters were not even loaded into the GUI. Now however its working again. so either i have done something wrong or the way to reconstruct that is different- i will contact you if happens again and i can present the steps for it. about NET GAIN is WITHOUT FEES, so 0.00003521 is your net Gain. so AFTER FEES - CORRECT? i mean - if the TOTAL GAIN of a PING PONG in GAINS TAB is lower than the TOTAL FEE, then i am still "earning"? |

Sampey have to describe here about my template trouble. here what i do: - i set up 2 price limit rules - and set up 1 pong stop loss rule - i go to Parameter Template - in Selected Algorithm Action i choose "Duplicate as new Template" and give it a name to save that. I can see the rules in the saved User Algorithm: - PriceLimit Rules -
Price Limit Rule : PING LIMIT (Adequate:false) - Never BUY OVER Your Last PING SELL Price + 1%
Price Limit Rule : PING LIMIT (Adequate:false) - Never SELL UNDER Your Last PING BUY Price + 1%
- StopLoss Rules -
Stop Loss Rule : BUY All If % With Reference Price is < -5.00000000
then when i open a new market where i want these rules, i go - Parameter Template - select the User Algorithm that i saved before - On Selected Algorithm Action i choose "Load on Current Parameter Panel" - it is confirmed by a red DONE next to the selection box Even after loading and double clicking to "Currently Running", those rules don't come up. |

NOTE: I see a SELL in PING TRADE POOL on Orders&Trades tab... does that have something to do with it? 2. i was trying something when starting the whole process. on the fresh market, i created a ping sell on an upper range that i saw and i created a ping buy with the lower buy price that i saw. now - this seems to work well - however, i saw this message in the log: 2018-01-20 19:12:59| PPC(NO-BUY-PI) : Risk BUY To Myself, Adequate Price from 0.00000520 to 0.00000519 how to avoid buying from myself? or is this setup not recommended anyway? 3. got another question, not sure if i understand all fully. - so basically if the market is in general rather in an upwards trend, i better start with a ping buy - because the ping buy will be adjusted at first and the pong sell won't matter so much if it would not go through - i would end up with the higher coin and a stop loss - for example if lets say SC would shooot up 10% and i have pong stop loss to 5% on a ping buy/pong sell - that would mean CAT would buy SC, try put a PONG Sell but the price would shoot up past SL 5% and cancel the order and restart with ping? - if the market is in general rather in a downwards trend i would rather start with ping sell in this case then? do i understand that right??? |

yes i know - sampey is great - but this forum lets me only send 1 private message a day - so only way to reach out to sampey after that is by messaging in this thread... which is kind of spamming since other users should normally not be bothered with private messaging... however.... don't know who set this forum to be like that...

Can you explain more on Stop loss ?
Ping sells or buys - for the pong opposite to make a gain, it has to be a positive difference between ping and pong. If that difference is going negative you can either wait or at stop at some point by cancelling that order with a certain loss... i found it shows up as minus percentage gain then in GAINS and accumulates with other positive gains... |

Hi Sampey, i have some notes on 5.2 beta. 1. I am running an algo and i have set some price limit rules and some pong stop loss rule(s) active. --> when going to TOOLS > Super Algo Configurator --> none of the rules shows up there in the active algo. 2. is there any way to save the "GAINS" log? for example i would want to ask you about some LTC/BTC trading i had yesterday but the log isn't there anymore since i had to restart CAT at some point. 3. as mentioned i was trading LTC/BTC to test - oh now i found the trades in the exchange: 2017-12-20, 20:05:11 0.01890000 0.6/0.6 0.01890000 0.01134000 Filled

2017-12-20, 17:47:36 0.01870000 0/0.7 0 0.01309000 Canceled I haven't set any rules to reduce the amount being traded but with every ping/pong cycle, it used 0.1 LTC less for some reason... do you know why that could be?? 4. about the Buy/Sell pool: Do i understand right that each time i add a Ping sell or buy order, this amount goes through Ping/Pong and then is added to the Buy/Sell pool. - So if i start CAT and do 1 ping buy with 100coins, whatever result after the POng will be 100+gain in the buy/sell pool after to be used for the next ping buy, right? - Now after one 100 coin ping is in progress, if i do another ping buy or sell with 200 coins, it will be a new ping/pong cycle and after the pong, cycle2 result will also be added to buy/sell pool, right? so it will be 100+gain + 200+gain in buy/sell pool. --> correct? - the option down there to modify buy/sell pool and preview it, here i can see what is now in the buy/sell pool. Lets say there is 2 ping/pong cycles running and 0.1 BTC in BUY pool and maybe 10 LTC in SELL pool. What happens, or what does it change, when i change the buy pool to 1 BTC and the sell pool to 100 LTC for example? (of course this amount would need to be available for trading, just as example). what happens to the 2 ping/pong cycles, or are there additional cycles created automatically? thanks for the ongoing support! |

@achtung082 would you mind sharing a few best practises you found?
i am quite new to CAT but like how versatile it is - however it's also very complex and testing is not easy cause markets change all the time and there are soo many possibilities, that it is hard to understand whats to be used when and how to optimize...
not wanting you to share all your secrets, just a few additional tips and tricks to sampeys manuals would help a lot to get the setup more bullet proof.

thanks for that info. And you say - First of all take in consideration that Default % GAIN Suggested by CAT is BuyFee+SellFee+0.1%
So accept this value as % GAIN nearly means "Trade Without Gains" Now just to be sure - that Default % GAIN is then if "Min % Guaranteed Gain" is set to 0, correct? so then if we set Min% Guaranteed Gain to 1% it would be BuyFee+SellFee+0.1%+1% ? thx! |

mein erster Miner... leider habe ich kein gutes Setup hier - zu instabiles Internet und kein einfacher LAN Anschluss (nur über repeater,wlan,...) wo der miner steht. Ist zwar sehr klein und leicht aber braucht doch einen platz wo er langfristig stehen und mit stabilem netz stabil laufen kann...
