1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Loge Foot - Is Neymar at Paris a good thing ? on: August 05, 2017, 04:25:16 PM
It is probably good for him, PSG and Ligue 1. He will be the main striker at the club.

But I'm not sure what are the long-term consequences of his huge transfer fee on the player market.

Well, even though I am totally behind him and his transfer, as you pointed it out, his transfer might be the entry point for many huge bills transfers. Just one year ago Pogba looked liked if he was totally expensive and someone will never pay more. But now you have Mbappé, Hazard, Neymar, Coutinho and so much more players that are above the 100M$ mark, and that is a bad news. Price is rocketing. As Mourinho said, Neymar is worth his price, but the problem might be that some palyers become overvalued.

To complete the survey, Neymar Jr at PSG is a good thing just for PSG. For FC Barcelona, it's a very bad thing because Messi and Suarez are getting old and even if they recruited Deulofeu, their attack will never be good as it was with Neymar Jr.

So it is neither good nor bad if it is good for one and bad for another. But for it is surely good. Barcelona and La Liga president are way too arrogant. They simply can not keep their players if someone paid for him, what PSG did. And yet they are still strying to harass Paris because they have more money than them Sad...
Money is and will be always a source of problems. However, even if Barcelona and La Liga president are just haters to harass PSG, we can understand their reaction when we see this crazy financial arrangements.

This crazy financial arrangement is awesome I think Grin ! If James Bond was a football serie that would be the next episode. They are increadibly creative, and just for this merit I think to get Neymar.

Chelsea finally officially secured the signature of ASmonaco midfielder , Tiemoue Bakayoko in the summer transfer market in 2017. The 22 year old player was officially contracted for five years with a transfer value of 40 million pounds  Cool

Monaco is on an incredible selling spree. I would be interested to know how much they total in sales for this summer but that must be huge ! Anyway good luck to him !

Studying a parlay for tonight Champions League games: Porto - Juventus is the one to watch. Bianconeri want to keep marching in Europe as they do in Italy, I don't see Porto stopping them. Sevilla might win against Leicester playing home.
The following is my bet:
Porto - Juventus Juventus
Sevilla - Leicester Sevilla

This is what one could think naturally, but what can say to me : Porto is at home and is showing great recent performances ; Leicester is not that bad in Champions League, and Sevilla showed not that good performances recently. For this, I can say that two draws can occur. But both Juventus and Sevilla remain favourite in my mind, this is just that I do not have a total confidence in them.

Today since I have some doubts on Bayern and because the only team I truly believe in Budesliga is Leipzig, I bet on Leipzig +2 that has great odds. They are at 1,56 even though I think that should Leipzg regular odds !
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 29, 2017, 07:47:21 PM
This is for me the shock of the day in Liga. Just by reading this you know of which match I am talking about : Bétis-Barça. I have to say that I am veyr surprised of Barcelona drawing. Bétis is such a weak team... I am thinking more and more than Barcelona will not be able to win against Paris in Champions League.

Monaco is on the rise across the football Lyon defeated General was seen as a favorite in Monaco, but things didn't work out in favor of. But that too however was the most logical choice to be played on the top to arrive.

this wins tightening the competition on the the three top spots as Lyon now only five points behind PSG and Lyon have one match delayed so the gap can be thinner and that will be crucial for Unai Emery futur because there is rumors that they are lookong for Louis Van Gal as potentiel replacement if Emery steps down or get sacked because if PSG do not qualify next year for CL they will defintly will try to change the managment and i think the red card in the first half that Monaco taken helped Lyon well even tho Lacazette missed a penalty kick

Don't worry Lyon is not a threat to Paris, and that defeat of Monaco might make Unai Emery pass the the Winter. If he win over Lorient on Wednesday, and that some magical chance make Monaco lose against Caen, Emery will be reassured as he will have the same number of points than Monaco, but that issue seems very unlikely to happen. The gap will stay of 3 points I think since I see Paris and Monaco winning on both of their matchs.
iy's unlikely for Monaco to lose against Caen at home it's true that monaco had an awful defeat last week but losing secong game in row at home it would't happend Monaco is more stronger then Caen whom struggling to stay ahead of the relegation zone also PSG will be having the same conditions that Monaco had so it's more logical to see them easily win the game propably Monaco will have more easier game because PSG are having a lot a pressure from their board.

I don't agree with both of you. Lyon can surpass Paris, I'm afraid of. They're just 2 points behind. For you, Caen can put some problems to Monaco. I'll always remind that this is that team that ended the magical serie of Nice, when they were at their best earlier that season.

I'd avoid betting on Arsenal or Monaco or any other team that is sure to be qualificated by being first of its group and that is not playing at home.
Yes that's riskier to bet on Bayer 04 Leverkusen v AS Monaco but for Arsenal inform you better because they are equally with PSG.

Don't get me wrong. Paris beat Arsenal to the particular goal-average. The only possibility now for Arsenal to take the lead is to except a draw or a defeat against Ludogorets, highly unprobable.

The next match of Paris will be important, because facing Lyon. Their last encounter ended 4-1 that Summer.

Leipzig has a great opportunity to take the head of Bundesliga with their next match. They'll be facing Bayer Leverkusen, but Bayern München will be facing Dortmund, by playing away (like Leipzig by the way). That's a great chance to don't miss.

Nice is finally unreachable. May will they be the Leicester of France ? That would not surprise me given how they were seductive in their game that afternoon.
