Hi all,
As most people know Bitcoin-24.com is already offline for a while now. What really bothers me is that the supply of new information and also the attention for this problem (or scam) seems to decrease every day. I have about 7.5k EUR on that website so I am one of the victims.
For example, the topic about this on Reddit isn't really active anymore, people seem to loose their attention for this problem. Also their hasn't even been sent an e-mail by Simon to all the users of bitcoin-24 which I think is not only very strange but also unacceptable and very disrespectful to his customers. The supply of information just isn't there. His customers and victims of this problem have the right to be informed about issues like this, I mean it's not a little problem or something, it's HUGE... 100.000's of euro's (or even more) are missing, again, thats huge, and I that's why I think it's very disrespectful to not inform your customers by e-mail, we just have to find out and look for ourselfs.. It's just not done and it disgusts me.
Another thing that bothers me is there is some information in German on their homepage and it also says an English translation will be on there 'this evening'. We are now 3 days further and no translation has been added, I mean wtf...!? Also he is not responding to emails for more than a week, while I think he owes an explenation.
Meanwhile, 'Simon', the owner of bitcoin-24 could be a scammer who uses some sort of stalling tactic hoping that most of the customers forget about this slowly or lose their hope to get their money back. We have to do something and not let Simon get away with this, again, I do not say it is, but it could all be a huge scam. We have the right to get more information and get updated about the situation every single day. It reallt frustrates me that the attention for this huge issue is slowly decreasing and if this keeps on going Simon could just get away with this.
Since we all have to find everything out for ourselfs, is there some forum/site where victims of this problem gather? Like I said, the Reddit thread is slowly dying...

No I never received something like that... It's strange because like I said, I requested the withdrawal on sunday April 7th and I think the website went offline 3 days later on the 10th (correct me if I'm wrong). It's my first withdrawal at bitcoin-24, how long does it normally take for a (SEPA) withdrawal request to be executed?

Hello,
I've made a withdrawal om the 7th of April of a lot of money on Bitcoin-24 by SEPA. We are now the 15th of April and I still haven't received the money on my bank account. On their website they stated it just takes 3-5 days. I've also send them 2 e-mails days ago but no response at all...
I know about their problems, I even posted about those problems like 2 weeks ago but no one took it seriously, but my withdrawal was before those problems were widely known and their website was taken down. That was like I think 3 days later.
So I still didn't receive my money after 8 days and the bitcoin-24 owner is not responding to my e-mails... Should I be worried?
Thanks in advance.

I think the owner of the site is simply very busy. I have always received a response from him eventually, but on occasion it has taken as much as 3-4 days.
Well in the case he's very busy he shouldn't tell on his website he will respond in 12 hours... I also contacted him and after at least 36 hours still no response.

Well the guy in the video said he talked to them and they denied it was a problem or that it could be exploited or something, but I would probably do the same if it was my website... I mean it's not a really good look for your company/website. Besides on the shoutbox of their website about an hour ago I also saw someone questioning why he suddenly had more money on his balance... So I'm doubt a little

Hello, In another topic (can't respons as newbie) I saw this video of some sort of code error on Bitcoin-24: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYPaN_41tv0I don't exactly get it. I was just about to sell some Bitcoins on that site (not buying), is that safe to do? As far as I get the problem it's only a problem when buying Bitcoins, am I right? I hope someone can tell me if selling Bitcoin on Bitcoin-24 is safe. Thanks in advance, I hope someone can clear this up to me.

btw, where do I fill in the transaction fee? I don't see something like that in my wallet

|
And is it true that there's a withdrawal limit of 1000 USD/day with SEPA on Mt.Gox?
|
|
|
@liquid, Thanks, that blockchain site could be helpful!
@charlie, does a big transaction need a bigger transaction fee than a small transaction?
|
|
|
Thanks for your reply! That's pretty quick. I don't know anything about transaction fee's. What amount/percentage should I think of?

Hi all,
I have a question: I've never cashed out BTC so I was wondering how long does it take before your Bitcoins appear in your account after you have sent them? I was wondering because I've just sent 1 BTC to my account on a website to buy some Litecoins. This was about an hour ago and I still don't see them on my balance in my account.
I like to know this for Mt.Gox and especially Bitcoin-24.
Thanks in advance, I hope someone can tell me more about this.
