To Claymore devloper,
Please Display icorrect shar in the miner to see witch Gpu is overclocked so much but keep mining incorrect shar
Thanks

the miner do not restart when gpu hang, i need to reboot manualy all the rig to start miner correctly a gain !
do you have a reboot.bat/reboot.sh with shutdown called inside ? if yes, there is a problem. often when GPU hang because of overclocking and heat, there are many memory errors in kernel logs, and the linux kernel end with a panic on unstoppable processor thread. I use a hardware watchdogno i do not use reboot.bat i use default wd I mean just restart miner when gpu hang and this not hapened when gpu hang any help

It dropped 2% because it's acessing a second memory module, right? So, from 2 to 4GB we shouldn't see a difference in the hashrate, correct?
correct

So we're all going to see a drop in hashrate in the next four hours?
Check your equipment, I have the r9 380 and get with each 23.5 Mhash. Check -ethi , SET options in your configuration file. Remember, in the help file the parameters are from 2 GB video card I say that when properly configured miner video card, the VA will not lose in the speed of hashing. I had a year and a half ago 23.5 Mches much the same I get today. What brand & settings are you using on the 380? I have a few of those in one of my rigs and I've never gotten numbers like that out of them. Yest, Remaining one hour Now for new dag and new droping effective hashrate about 2%

Claymore, do you have any ideas how to overcome Polaris hashrate drop for epoch >129 ?
Genoil said that DAG now took 100% of first memory bank (2gb) and go to second memory bank, so access two banks instead of one leads significant hashrate drop.
Do you make any research in this direction, or it is hopeless? What you think, any comments?
I have this probleme with 8g rx 480 hash drop every new dag epoche on ethereum and ethereum classic Minergate miner say with her laste version we do not loss effective Hashrate see here; https://minergate.com/blog/v-6-5-no-hashrate-drop-after-dag-epoch-switch/

Hashrate Drop Every New DAG with RX480 8G this tack effect on last 3 dag ago
what can I do ??
This is most likely a hardware related issue caused by the DAG being over 2GB now. This causes something like the DAG now being spread over multiple banks of memory, slowing down access. The bigger the DAG gets, the more often the memory controller has to switch banks, the slower it responds. In reality it probably is a little bit different/nuanced, but I guess it comes down to the same thing. The most important question is; how much are the 290/390's affected? Because when they have it too, the majority is in the same sinking ship, so it's not that big of a deal. Good news for Pascal owners though, they should be fine as a similar issue was fixed when that hit the market last year. I repeate I use RX 480 8G

For the 1 millionth time.
NO HASHRATE DOESN'T DROP EVERY NEW DAG. IT ONLY DROPS ON OLD GPUS LIKE 270X / 280X / 7970.
You are absolutely wrong. Hashrate is dropping heavily for polaris cards 0.1-0.2 mhs every new epoch. This is stared 2 epochs ago. With epoch 199 you'll get only 17mhs with rx480. Just use --benchmark 199 option of claymore miner. Yes Thanks my freind you are absolutley reason I use rx 480 8G and that is not un old gpu like he said so what is the solution my freind ??

reported Hashrate decreased evrey New DAG whay ??
I just wrote the reason two posts above... ^ mining the wrong coin, try one with a smaller DAG.
Can you please explain me a little more? i read about DAG but donīt understand the concept. My card has 3gb Vram, is that the problem? Your card's memory controller is actually the problem - as the DAG grows, even though it can fit it in its RAM, it gets slower and slower at random access. This does not occur with GCN 2 and newer GPUs. I have RX 480 8G i think is newtest card
