1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: April 06, 2020, 03:30:27 PM
Is anyone else having trouble sending XMR from https://wallet.mymonero.com/?

Keep getting the following error message 'An error occurred while submitting transaction: Error: Transaction rejected: invalid input'

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this issue?

Have you already contacted their support?

Yes I've tried to contact them through telegram but no luck. Do you know how I can contact their support team directly?

WTF? Today is my 5 year anniversary on bitcointalk....I need to do something with my life  Grin

Very cool to see some old accounts remaining active in the community. OMFG, what a ride it's been.

Great to see new faces as well, you've stumbled into a great project.

Staking 24/7 again, nom nom nom nom.

"orphan stakes are the worst"

Congratulations man!

version 4.5.2
I was staking in the past but moved all of the coins from my main balance.

Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to attach screenshots here. But my main balance is 0 and my staking balance is like as follows:

24H: 0 NAV
7D: 0 NAV
30D: 0 NAV
1Y: 0 NAV
ALL: 17.03450789 NAV

When I try to change the inputs I am unable to select the input from my staking balance like you can.

Maybe there is some confusion.
The above data only shows amount of coins staked during time periods and not actual balance. Balance would be above that on wallet under "Balances"
Staked coins typically end up the same wallet address as they are staked from.

I'm assuming at this point the problem is solved  Grin

If that is not the issue then continue troubleshooting below::::::

Check you wallet balances here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/ & https://www.navexplorer.com/

If you find the explorer balance does not match the wallet balance then you could try re-indexing to correct this.

1) backup wallet.dat
2) find folder on computer where navcoin-qt.exe is located.
3) In that folder(for windows machine) hold shift and right-click, select open command window here.
4) in command window type "navcoin-qt -reindex" with a space between "qt" and "-reindex".
5) let wallet sync 100%
6) check balance

OK I understand now!  Yes the problem is now indeed solved!

Thank you very much for your assistance with this. Much appreciated!

Does anyone know how I can move my staking balance to my main balance within the Navcoin wallet?

it should be as easy as:

1)lockwallet to stop staking, wait a few confirmation cycles for any recently stakes coins to mature.

2)settings>options>wallet   check "enable coin control"

3)on send tab, add the preferred address to send to and choose the inputs(address) to send from.

*)always test with a small amount of coin(1 coin) until you are sure you have the technique figured out.

this doesn't seem to be working. I actually have 0 in my main balance but my staking balance is 17. Is this what is causing the problem?

Does anyone have details of nodes I can connect to speeden up the syncing process for the stratis QT 2.0.0.5 wallet?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: March 03, 2019, 12:14:15 PM
Can someone please explain how I can update my wallet from version 1.2.2.0 to the latest version?

I have the wallet.dat file

Or any instructions/link to instructions would be helpful...

If you have a wallet.dat file, then you will need to download the QT Wallet from here: https://github.com/stratisproject/stratisX/releases. Once you've done this, navigate to the Stratis folder, find the wallet.dat file in that folder, delete it and replace it with the backup "wallet.dat" file you have. Make sure it is called "wallet.dat".

Open the QT Wallet and give it time to sync fully (may take 10 hours or so, depending on the speed of your internet). Once it has, you can then migrate to the new wallet, the Stratis Core wallet, which can be found here: https://stratisplatform.com/2018/12/12/stratis-core-production-release/. There's also a migration guide on that page as well, if you want extra help. To do this, you have to create a new wallet in Stratis Core, get a new address and send the Strat from QT to the new address in a transaction.

There is currently no way of migrating to Core directly using the wallet.dat file, as the architecture of the wallets are quite different (Stratis Core is an HD wallet).

Thanks a lot for your help with this. Much appreciated.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trends for next bullrun on: February 28, 2019, 11:01:49 AM
what you call "bull run" in altcoin market has always been the same, every single altcoin gets pumped with a couple of exceptions. the last pumping season was the season of ICOs and consequently the platform tokens such as ether that people were forced to buy got the biggest pumps.

next time will not be any different either. every single altcoin will get pumped with exception of certain groups (which we don't know which one yet now) will get bigger pumps. last time it was platform tokens but next one it will be something new.

maybe privacy coins this time?

Very true! I completely forgot about platform tokens and ICOs.

What about STOs and MimbleWimble. Does anyone think these may gain some ground during the next bullrun?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Trends for next bullrun on: February 28, 2019, 09:47:06 AM
The trend for the last bullrun appeared to be coins that focused on either privacy or scalability.

What do people think will be the trend for the next bullrun?

Have the team been working closely with the Nano devs to help refine the DAG protocol?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine on: February 15, 2019, 10:04:06 AM
what is the annual inflation rate?

"Beam is designed to be a deflationary coin with capped supply, halving every four years and stopping emission altogether after 133 years."

So we don't know the actual number of coins that will be released on an annual basis?

Also, what exactly does 'maturing' mean? Is this another word for staking?

it's easy to calculate exactly how many coins are created each year.

Year 1 = 80coins per block every 60 seconds + 20 coins per block emitted in a batch every 43800 blocks towards the treasury fund.
Year 2,3,4 = 40coins per block every 60 seconds + 10 coins per block emitted in a batch every 43800 blocks towards treasury fund.
Year 5 = 40coins per block very 60 seconds (treasury rewards cease).
Year 6,7,8,9 = 20 coins per block every 60 seconds.
Year 10,11,12,13 = 10 coins per block every 60 seconds.
and then halving every four years until 262,800,000 Beam are created.

Thank you very much for this.

Out of interest, does anyone think that there is potential for crowdfunding to become a strong use case for Beam? Similar to how Ethereum evolved to become?
