did this just get re-released today? why is the blockchain so huge already? sync taking forever... I want to start mining!! yeah, new devs, same blockchain so can I start mining while it's syncing? or do I have to wait until its done? the wallet generates addresses.. so I'm hoping I can start now Solo mining won't do anything for you until fully synced, but you can mine on a pool any time.

Anyone having issues connecting? cgminer is just blank for me
I'm fine on solo mining, but getting JSON auth failures on DMD.minar.cc even tho I KNOW the workers are set up right :-/

Next 3 = PHS, GLX, GLC? I have to find someone who can make those for me. I would love to add them. I just don't have the abilities. I tried adding GalaxyCoin but the client crashes and has an alert message stating it is out of data. GlobalCoin I can take a look at. What is PHS based off of? I might be able to make it work. According to this http://com-http.us/ccdir/phs , PHS is a fork of Diamond coin, so that might be trouble too. EDIT:[URL] is being lame so copy pasta

Seem to be having a lot of trouble with GDC, can't connect, any news on that front?
I give up on Grandcoin for now. Every time P2Pool submits a block to the client it kills the client and P2Pool can't get more work. I will continue to look for a solution to this issue. Seems everyone is having the same trouble with GDC... From another pool: "Warning: There is ongoing problems with communication between stratum and the Grandcoin client which is causing intermittent errors submitting some found blocks to the Grandcoin client. The issue can be seen here: https://github.com/moopless/stratum-mining-litecoin/issues/48 If you continue to mine Grandcoin on this pool, please take these issues into consideration. We will be trying to find a solution over the coming days."

Scrappy Do, block f*ng litecoin port. Or no. Leave only opened spots port for spots wallet. Or you will continuously will find litecoin or others wallets nodes. I wrote three times to iGotSpots and he said that there is no issue, but it has. Jost block anything except spots port for spots-qt.exe and restart. I've disabled wallet for three weeks, but now when started wallet - he connected to 2 nodes in 1.5 minutes and start syncing.
What is the proper port to allow for P2P? Edit: 5357? That's all I'm seeing in netstat Edit 2: nvm found! 4588! I blocked everything but 5357 & 4588... He's right, helps a TON with sync issues

on p2pool.org im only getting stratum requested work restart over and over agan....no accepts no rejects
change your difficulty by adding +0.0003 to the end of your address/username in your config file, adjust the number as needed, example : { "url" : " http://p2pool.org:9775", "user" : "MEUiiDqjqBsD7xCx5pUXc88nmj83JT2ZSE+0.00058207", "pass" : "spots" }

hello,
I never mined with a p2pool..
do I need the wallet fully synched before starting to mine?
No, you can start mining right away with the address generated by your wallet, and your coins will come in as they are seen on the blockchain EDIT: So, you can mine before the sync is done, but your coins just won't show up until fully synced. You won't hurt anything or miss out on coin by mining before that tho. Hope that clarifies a little.

Any ideas why we're getting so many work restarts on SPT stratum? I'm not seeing nearly as many blocks come through as work restarts, and accepted shares seem sporadic http://imgur.com/YNa0qPzYou need to make your share diff smaller. Append this to your wallet address in your miner: +0.00058207 So your command would look like: miner --scrypt -o p2pool.org:9775 -u MFdqEmmo8a6mT6a8WjMb2BmKaQPrFx2PK6+0.00058207 -p spt Keep adjusting that until you find a steady setting. I will be adding these details and a better explanation to the site soon. Perhaps I can make a calculator for it so it's easier for the end user. Sweet! Thanks for the info! Calculator would be awesome! I'll be sending donation as soon as I break even on these cards. I'm making almost twice as much with you as I was with multipools, so totally worth it

that helps lotz

I have all the nodes I could find... 216.56.62.132:4588 seems to be the only one up right now tho. Fully synced to block 60174 now.

Just tried downloading this wallet, and got the error "Warning:Checkpoint is too old. Wait for the block chain to download, or notify the developers"
I got the same thing, stuck on block 61246 for a while, but it just started downloading again. Make sure you have the addnodes included in your config file, I always add my pools as nodes as well

Bitbar went poof...
I have restarted it. I think the problem with this crap is that people keep trying to mine the wrong algo. I had a person the other day email me and ask why they been mining FTC for a whole day with a Block Erupter and haven't received payment, DOH! I should probably post the algo type somewhere around the coin. Or maybe split them up into sections? Rather than list them all together and mark each individual one? Also, what you're saying is other people hashing on the wrong algo is facking things for the rest of us? Lame...
