Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017? If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  I'm sure Bitcoin will be central digital currency in the future, and the other crypto currencies must be built on basic bitcoin foundation. The price will continue to grow up higher and it can hit over 1,500$ at the end of 2017. |

Yes you can buy BTCDs on Poloniex exchange and use for the swap and the elections. And the swap lasts 365 days from yesterday. But you must move your BTCD from the exchange to the ICO site if you want to participate in elections.
Read my post above with all the numbers that shows how buying BTCD right now gets you something like 60% more KMD, per BTC, spent than the end of the ICO got you.

I have them for long time and let them sit in my wallet in hope of seeing them becoming valuable at some point in future. There is no question about community and about the concept but right now price and support is not looking very good. This is one of the coins which are for long term to turn to be huge in my thinking.
I have bought some virtacoins with 2 sats and when I download the wallet for storage. This virtacoin wallet looks like the bitcoincore wallet and I expect this coin will rise up higher the same as bitcoin rising up and many investors will pay attention to virtacoins. |

- The snapshot is to get an additional asset called REVS.
- The privatekeys are used to redeem the asset.
- The snapshot has not happened yet!
- to participate the BTCD can be stored either in a BTCD address under your control, or in our ICO site
BTCD Swap to get KMD
- has nothing to do with the snapshot
- is done through the ICO site
- lasts 1 full year
- swapped BTCD ends up to our account, where it is publicly visible (nothing will happen to the swapped BTCD)
- hopefully every single BTCD coin will get swapped during the year

My predictionin the year if 2017: Dash, ZEC, ETH. These coins seems to have special technology and it has a big team and community and They are becoming gradually popular with many investors.

Alternatively you can sell things we might be interested in here on the forums, the best things to sell are things that aren't already being sold. Escrow is a great way to build trust because of the extra people involved in the trade(extra feedback = additional rapour). You should look into localbitcoins.com and make the trade in person if you would like to remain anonymous. Yes, That is your good idea . I'm intending to look for some good altcoins for investing but i'm newbie here so I have not much more about expreriences for altcoins so I will take care of ripple and steem and I'm aslo reading those coins. |

Some countries are afraid of bitcoin because it will cause some illegal actions such as laundering black money, purchase of drugs and weapons, illegal money transference to foreign countries. Beside that the government will lose taxes from bitcoin transactions because bitcoin is decentralized and is not controlled by financial offices of government.
