1  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - SPORTS BETTING for experts - highest liquidity, provably best odds on: September 14, 2017, 08:02:55 PM
I have two suggestions

1. Allow the option of a light theme.  Your dark theme is very hard on the eyes.
2. When placing a bet, please subtract the bet amount from the "return" amount.  It is very confusing to the user when betting 1.1 at -110 to say it returns 2.1. It should be 1.0.

I want my coins out.  The hot wallet is empty and I'm still unable to withdraw.  Does anyone know what the hot wallet address is?  The only way for me to check is by requesting a withdraw and seeing it get denied right now.

Would it be possible to add MLB series bets?  Must win 2/3 in a series for a particular team for example?

Why does this happen so often?

You prediction was not placed!
Something went wrong. Your bet could not be placed. An email was sent about this incident.
The full amount have been refunded to your account already.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - The BETTING EXCHANGE - super high liquidity, 0% fees on sports on: October 09, 2015, 08:37:46 PM
It sounds like your list of TODOs is quite long at the moment(imo you should start charging a small fee for sports and hire another developer) but a few suggestions

1. When you go to My predictions -> Resolved it links to https://www.fairlay.com/user/predictions/?event_status=resolved but should link to https://www.fairlay.com/user/predictions/?sort=-event__resolution_date&event_status=resolved (sorted by most recent first instead of oldest first)

2. I'm not sure what the best fix for this is, but when filtering through bets for NFL for example I click on "Am Football" then have to wait for it to load, then click "NFL" wait for it to load, then click "Spread" and have to wait for it to load.  I ended up just bookmarking the url https://www.fairlay.com/event/category-decimal/americanfootball/nfl/spread/ that I am looking for, but it's very time consuming doing it the other way.

My tennis bet was graded incorrectly.  https://www.fairlay.com/predict/registered/new/timea-bacsinszky-vs-sara-errani-22/  This is a pretty big problem.  Bacsinszky won the match.  http://www.wtatennis.com/completed-matches/tournamentId/1140/title/china-open
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBOOK RANKINGS ~ USER GENERATED & MOST ACCURATE (PLEASE CONTRIBUTE) on: August 14, 2015, 08:37:52 PM
I will use Baseball as a comparison as one must have 10 cent lines (spread between favorite and underdog) to be considered good odds.

Fairlay.com seems to have less than 10 cent baseball lines, at least on games that are starting soon! They are an exchange.

CasinoBitco.in has 10 cent baseball lines!

Bitbook.ie has 10 cent baseball lines!

webetcoins.com has 10 cent baseball lines!

NitrogenSports has more like 13 cent baseball lines.

Jetwin.com has between 13 and 15 cent lines.

CloudBet.com has 15+ cent lines.

Anonibet.com has 15+ cent lines.

Betcoin.ag has 15+ cent lines.

Betvip.com has 15+ cent lines.

betcoinsports.com has 18+ cent lines.

DirectBet.eu has 20+ cent lines! Whoever is recommending them in this thread is not being truthful - at least about their odds - at least about their baseball odds. Their NBA odds are also very bad. Can someone check their soccer odds?

I have no one but myself to blame, but I deposited on webetcoins partially due to this post.  Yes I should have checked OP first so I could see the F rating, but it's incredibly irresponsible to advertise the "great" baseball odds of an F rated book.  http://www.bestbitcoincasino.com/review/webetcoins/ also has a favorable review and http://www.bitcoinsportsbookreviews.com/sportsbook-ratings/ lists them as a B rated book so I would not trust anything those sites say.

Has anyone received BTC from them lately?  I was an idiot and am owed 18.725 BTC.  I see the domain is registered with godaddy.  Am I simply SOL or are there actions I can take?  It has been ~48 hours since my requested withdrawal.

Any way to have google tag them as a scam site so at least they won't scam more people in the future?  They are still accepting deposits and grading bets, but not processing withdrawals as far as I can tell.  My withdrawal address is https://blockchain.info/address/176hbqDJxbzi19Hc2d2Xoi4uG5csiGcshs if they ever want to pay it will show up there.

I am sorry if my post influenced you to try WeBetCoins and you had a bad experience there. I was reporting on best odds only, and they still have some of the best odds - at least on baseball, which is a very good standard to compare. I did wager with them a little and received a payout, although it took longer than it should.

I really don't see how DirectBet gets so many high ratings. They have terrible odds and their user interface is horrible compared to almost all the others listed here. They must be getting friends to post these high ratings here.

I play at Nitrogen and Fairlay. JetWin looks good and has good baseball odds so I will try them also.

Have you received your payout yet?

I did in fact receive my payout from webetcoins.  I think I requested on May 10th or so and received June 25th.  I can't tell you how happy I was to finally receive an e-mail reply confirming my withdrawal address after so much time had passed.  I was a net loser fwiw, but they did give me a 1 btc freeroll bet for my trouble.  I still give a F rating, but I'm just happy I wasn't completely scammed.  Fairlay and Nitro are still the best books imo.  Still waiting for Fairlay American odds!
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Webetcoins.com 0% Juice Best Odds - Sports & Exchange MLB NFL NCAA SOCCER TENNIS on: August 14, 2015, 08:31:18 PM
I foolishly deposited here a few days ago.  I realized what I had done minutes afterwards... but bitcoin-qt does not have a double spend feature so there was nothing I could do to reverse the transaction.  I am owed 18.725 BTC.  My deposits and bets were graded just fine.  My receiving address is https://blockchain.info/address/176hbqDJxbzi19Hc2d2Xoi4uG5csiGcshs if I ever get paid you will see it there.

Hey just want to update and say that I was eventually paid as you can see from the transaction.  I wouldn't really trust depositing again, but if you do deposit there is hope that you may be paid but it may take awhile.

For future downtime you should really put up a static html page.  It's pretty panic inducing to go to the site and see nothing but

My reviews

Fairlay: 4
They have the best odds and highest limits out of any site I've found.  They are an exchange and you can bet up to 20BTC at a time for baseball games.  I'm a little sketched out that they don't have many people actually making large wagers however, and they have some very basic software features/mistakes.  No american odds listed, the login info using your e-mail is case sensitive, some of the notices don't show up easily.  Here is their latest wagers accepted: https://www.fairlay.com/predict/latest/

Thanks for your rating. Regarding the large wagers - indeed we have this sport section as it is now only since a few month so we are clearly in the very beginning. However - we still had bigger bets than all other Bitcoin bookies allow (as far as we know) E.g:
https://www.fairlay.com/anonymous/1Gfwc45qe5jPFjL28yRFNS1s1hWghdMMvc/
https://www.fairlay.com/anonymous/1Md1pGGndzbdMVfkS3GHALW21LGodXhkn2/
However - more an more punters realize that we offer the best odds thanks to the exchange model - so we hope to see more traffic and together with this even better odds soon!

Good to hear the other points. American odds will be added soon (likely within 2 weeks). Thanks for mentioning the case sensitivity problem - we have not been aware of it yet. What do you mean with "some of the notices don't show up easily"?

Thanks for reply.  Regarding the notices - when I initially added a withdrawal address I didn't see the notice that said check your e-mail to confirm.  I just saw the withdrawal address added and the request withdrawal section said add a withdrawal address and I was confused.

My reviews

Nitrogen: 5
The industry leader in my opinion.  Always pays fast and very professional.  Not the best odds, basically pinnacle plus a bit of vig, but small price to pay when your odds of being scammed or hacked are very low from here in my opinion.  Limits are 2-20BTC per bet.  For baseball it's usually 4BTC.

Cloudbet: 4
For sports they seem okay.  Occasionally they will have better odds than nitrogen by a smidgen but their limits are lower.  For baseball it's usually around 2-3BTC.  I would not play casino games here.  Sketched out by this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/35yl70/cloudbet_you_have_been_revealed/

Jetwin: No opinion, but they're not really a bitcoin book imo.  The take bets in fiat.

Webetcoins: 0 obviously outlined above.

Sites having some issues scraping tag data at the moment.  It will probably be down for 24 hrs until I find time to fix.
16  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinRichList.com on: January 15, 2014, 02:03:02 AM
Started scraping tags from blockchain.info and listing that with the list now so it's not just a wall of random addresses anymore.
17  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinRichList.com on: January 13, 2014, 11:32:08 PM
New update so you can search addresses to see where they rank in the top 20,000 richest.  You need at least 50.01 coins currently.  Try it out:

18  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinRichList.com on: January 13, 2014, 10:23:19 AM
Just made an update so you can paginate the top 500 lists every 500 blocks and see how it changes over time.
19  Economy / Service Announcements / BitcoinRichList.com on: December 21, 2013, 05:13:09 AM
I am the creator of http://bitcoinrichlist.com  It is a blockchain analytics site whose primary draw is it lists the current richest bitcoin addresses.  I just made some major updates am and now tracking last transaction in dates and # of transaction in/out as well as the current top 20,000 addressse.  Most of the data is found using znort's block parser so much thanks to him.

Bitcoin distribution is archived every 5,000 blocks so you can see how it changes over time here: http://bitcoinrichlist.com/charts/bitcoin-distribution-by-address?atblock=275000  The top 500 lists are also currently archived every 500 blocks which you can view with the atblock query http://bitcoinrichlist.com/top100?atblock=2000

If anyone's looking to help out and has experience with d3 charts or node.js/angular.js/mongodb let me know.  Any feedback and donations would be much appreciated: 13gpMizSNvQCbJzAPyGCUnfUGqFD8ryzcv
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High level of activity in Top 100 addresses on: December 04, 2013, 12:37:14 AM
I'm the author of the site.  I just recently started updating the list more frequently.  Most of the transactions are people spamming the address with .001 bitcoins and adding a note as you can see here:  https://blockchain.info/address/1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPH or by clicking on the address at the top of the page here http://bitcoinrichlist.com/address/1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPH?charttype=balance  Eventually I plan on making the last transaction field more accurate by only looking at transactions > 1 BTC or something but for now this will have to do.
