LUKSO - The Blockchain for the new digital lifestyle

lukso.network     |      Twitter      |      Discord      |      Github

Blockchain for the new digital Lifestyle
LUKSO, the Blockchain for the new digital lifestyle is created by former Ethereum Developer Fabian Vogelsteller, author of ERC20 and web3.js (most used JavaScript library in the blockchain space). LUKSO is a multiverse blockchain network where the worlds of fashion, gaming, design, and social media intersect.

LUKSO has built an exceptional advisory board from top executives to thought leaders in the blockchain and lifestyle space.  LUKSO is working closely with Brands to develop smart contract standards and applications to revolutionize the fashion and lifestyle industries. Over the last year LUKSO has built a test network called "L14", internal MVPs and public experiments to test these new use cases.

The worlds first Reversible ICO
Launched on June 10

-> https://rico.lukso.network

In a Reversible ICO buyers reserve tokens and then buy those reserved tokens over a period of time (e.g. 8 months) automatically. During this time buyers have the option to return still reserved tokens at any time and receive their associated Ether back.
Unlike a one-time fundraising event, in the rICO Investors buy Tokens over time and always have the freedom to stop buying tokens by returning their reserved tokens to the rICO smart contract. This personal choice — which requires no voting — just a simple transfer, is the key of the rICO. If you want to learn more about the rICO you can read about it here or listen to a talk about it here

L14 Testnet
L14 functions as the first test-network, to allow the LUKSO community to build and test on a common infrastructure. A later test-network will run on HBBFT, combined with a PoSDAO governance to test-run the first LUKSO mainnet consensus algorithm. The test network is dubbed “L14” as it is a pure Proof of Authority (PoA) network with currently 4 block producing validator nodes.
You can find out more about the L14 testnet in this Medium article.

Hi Dargo

1. Yes i have a ticket with kraken #43901
2. I have an verified account (frozeman) as well
3. I went through the kraken claiming process, but it redirects me first to claims.mtgox.com where i have to reset my mtgox password. and there the automail with the 8 digit password is not send, or never arrives

If there is another way to claim on kraken, please let me know.

I assume you guys are also behind the claims.mtgox.com site.

The reset password flow is not working for me, i never get the autosend email with the 8digit number, even though if have still the email it works and i have all my mtgox credentials.

Could any of you check whats going on there? I would really appreciate that, since the deadline is only one month Sad

" I kicked off the claim process from within the Kraken site.  "

Could anybody successfully start the claiming process? I don't receive the email with the temporary password.

Thats either me or their server not sending them.

Has anybody the same issue?

These assets where there since a few days. It should be noted in the first post that they are scam assets.
This will probably fool a few more people, This is not ok!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 05, 2014, 11:51:09 AM
I just bought TOKEN yesterday and UNITY on the asset exchange. Now james put another token there saying:

TOKEN: "thesupernet.org Official SuperNET TOKEN, latest info at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346"

WTF?!

Means i just bought nothing?!
What about the other two?

This is quite a mess and jl777 should be more clear about this assets, or put out warnings!

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEM] Logo Community Voting on: June 28, 2014, 04:47:45 PM
IMHO Abstract NEM  2, the dark one with green, is the most suitable to generate interest from mainstream, as it on the one hand looks serious and like a currency symbol (the M) and on the other has something mysterious, something what is coming but no one knows...

The mystery effect plays in well here. This logo doesn't need come in green a light version would work as well.

+1 for 4. Abstract NEM  2

I hope there is a plan, to package the NIS as chrome packaged app, so i can simply start is like a real app.

Where do we post bugs? Is there a github repo for issues?Huh?
I would love to have one.

When booting up a node, the window contains text, but the text is white (Mac in safari)

NEM Alpha on Mac OS X / Linux

1. Download latest release from http://bob.nem.ninja
2. unpack and cd to package; set permissions:
Code:
chmod +x nix.runNis.sh && chmod +x nix.runNcc.sh
3. first launch Nis
Code:
./nix.runNis.sh
4. open new terminal window, cd to package dir and launch Ncc
Code:
./nix.runNcc.sh
5. head over to http://localhost:8989/ncc/web/index.html

I get "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/nem/deploy/CommonStarter : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0"
I installed Java SE 8 runtime, but don't seem to use this version. How can i select the version used in my terminal?

In my console i get
java -version:
java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)

Whats wrong?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread [Updates & Discussion][Civilized Discussion] on: June 25, 2014, 07:53:05 PM
I especially like this one, as the "M" can be perfectly used as the current symbol itself:

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread [Updates & Discussion][Civilized Discussion] on: June 25, 2014, 07:48:22 PM
I dont understand the logo choice and design changes, we are going from minimal stylish, to windows "comic sans ms" style, thats just horrible.

I'm a web developer myself, build http://tunedin.de.

Please let a designer make the decisions not coders (again i'm one myself).

The logos loi.tranquang made are already excellent:
See the e.g. following:

Those have style and give us legitimacy. With the current one we aren't looking serious IMHO.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread [Updates & Discussion][Civilized Discussion] on: June 22, 2014, 11:28:37 AM
Why its called "open alpha" if it is closed alpha testing?? thats not an open alpha.

Again +1 for "Harvesting", as this word is easy to explain to outsiders and people unclear about the workings of Cryptoscurrencies.

An unique name ist not better for SEO IMHO. Mots important is that new users understand the concepts. Thats exactly the problem with bitcoin right now, its to complicated for most people. Adoption comes from simplicity, so we should always focus on this. See apple why its successful? because you don't need a manual to use it.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread [Updates & Discussion][Civilized Discussion] on: June 21, 2014, 09:13:54 AM
"harvesting" is a good choice as its a word, which sounds like somebody did fair work for his "reap".

And as we are actually just collecting tx fee its actually "harvested" Smiley
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread [Updates & Discussion][Civilized Discussion] on: June 20, 2014, 09:12:07 PM
+1 for harvesting
