8  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Antminer S1 temperature limit. on: March 16, 2014, 03:27:36 AM
At what temperature in celsius should I unplug my Antminer?  The heat sink fins got very hot to touch and got nervous and unplugged unit, the room itself does not have the best ventilation yet.  I miners themselves read about 49 degress celsius.  I've read that some overclocked miners run at 70 degrees, is that safe without damaging the miners?
Basic rule is: try to keep it under 50 degrees.
if you are adventurous I would try till 60 degrees.
If you want to role the dice. try 70 degrees but I would not recommend this if you are not a risk taker.

It is just me but I never allow to go over 55 degrees with 190GH. my average for this month is 43 degrees.
Hope this helps..

16  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AntMiner S1 sale on: March 14, 2014, 11:45:07 AM
hey, ionux your payment is not confirming. something wrong with your account?  Huh  I am going to hold the shipment until the transaction gets confirmed.
Gosh, this is so hard to sell...
17  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AntMiner S1 sale on: March 14, 2014, 03:59:53 AM
sold to ionux!

one on the right(with antenna in the pic) is gone.

one on the left is available but I think I am going to keep it for a while unless someone wants to pay up front with their own shipping label.

one on the left can survive the summer without AC. it cools better than stock and silent due to the many fans I put around moving all the air in many directions.
Like I mentioned before. only flaw on one on the left is that wireless not working well. It was like that from the day one. may be bitmaintech will fix it for free but I didn't bother since I don't use wireless.

sales pending....
19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AntMiner S1 sale on: March 14, 2014, 01:22:49 AM
alright, I am going to hold one for now. I can continue to mine and still be profitable.

I will try 1 unit escrow (you choose one: left or right from the pic).
but the price is .89 firm. if you can send me the shipping Label. the price is .84 firm.  but you pay all the escrow fees.
20  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Anyone have a actual Wattage??? on: March 14, 2014, 12:58:36 AM
I'm worried about my miners...

Occasionally it would show a status of

oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo
xxoooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo

When i reboot the antminer, it switches around to

xxoooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo

Should i be concerned about this at all? Could it be the power supply or heat, or is my antminer is just stupid...

yeah sometimes it is the power or sometimes it is the heat. but those few xxs are okay. I had few occasions where I had 40% of xxxs but it ran faster??? It is usually from your PSU. just reboot when your PSU are stable and temperature is cool. then you will have all 000s. oh I gotta report mine: it pulls about 850watt from killawatt readings for 2 antminers(190GH each) with my 1000W PSU.
