In simple words Polymeric Network is the "brandname"  of the whole infrastructure. Quartz is just a Particle on the Polymeric Network ,  the very first one. Particles are blockchains.

Slack currently remains in private between the team and the Pre-Sale investors.

Actually yes.

Regarding development,  in private,  the barebone is in progress .
Regarding marketing / promotion,  nothing yet (obviously). Luckily,  the recent BTC rally is helping us to maximize the effects on the next steps (where cash is needed).

Do not expect an overnight mass movement, the crowdsale will most probably take place on mid of June and till then,  we need to have every needed asset in place (assets like website,  source code, white paper,  social activation). As said,  updates will start rolling the next days (from mid of May and afterwards).

With BTC and ETH. There will not be a smart contract.

The next steps is actually the announcement of the project and the crowdsale. During this phase,  code chunks will be published.

Due to not writing something in public those days it's logical to have such impression but I'm here,  and silently,  some things have been arranged but nothing will be announced yet. Most updates will start rolling out from the mid of may and afterwards.

I really cannot answer that right now. Of course it requires an efficient way of managing every single penny to achieve what was initially planned but as said,  I cannot answer that,  let the results of the next steps to answer that.

Pre-Sale has ended, in total 17.54752285 BTC and 3.36708442 ETH has been raised.
All the participants has been notified and been invited to slack.

Next steps (besides what is written on the roadmap) is to have a proper presence (as a "branded project"), set up communications channels and prepare the Crowdsale.

I have not connected any mailing service in the website.  I will personally send emails to all the participants the next days to verify their contribution and also,  I will invite them to slack to join it if they like.

Few hours before the Pre-Sale ends, 17.54752285 BTC and 3.36708442 ETH has been raised so far. Note that those figures are based on the confirmed transactions.
Any unconfirmed transaction which is pending confirmation it will be considered valid even if the confirmation arrived after the end of the Pre-Sale.
Any new transaction made after the end of the Pre-Sale, it will not be considered valid and it will be listed as donation with no return in Quartz.

I have notice some delays on the Pre-Sale website ( https://polymeric.network ) the last days so, you may experiencing an awful delay if you trying to participate on the Pre-Sale. I'm sorry about that.
