wow, any news expected?, can´t find info in the zensys forum Rob Viglione and Charles Hoskinson of Zencash will be speaking there. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpix.toile-libre.org%2Fupload%2Foriginal%2F1505913765.png&t=663&c=t1die0uZO6ZeOw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpix.toile-libre.org%2Fupload%2Foriginal%2F1505913722.png&t=663&c=LSR67F93oqbTLA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpix.toile-libre.org%2Fupload%2Foriginal%2F1505913677.png&t=663&c=zKxoFe6--eUiKg)

WTF I'm not getting here? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F6EdXUaW.png&t=663&c=7poH8VeGwHd9ZA) So with one node (42 ZEN) I can earn that much money per month?? Number of Secure Nodes = Number of Secure Nodes in the whole network try with 800~4000

IV just calculated and the reward is 3,7 ZEN for running a node, there should be 7,5 ZEN or am i missing something ?
It all depends of the total number of secure nodes, I predict something within 800~4000 , just a figure of my imagination so take it with grain and salt, In the end it's the laws of the market that dictates supply \ demand

IMHO 42 ZEN is too low entry level for a Service Node. Whales would be able to manipulate the whole network.. Make it at least 100 ZEN and a reward ratio miners/nodes/governance at 65%/25%/10% Nodes are important and they should be well paid.
I disagree. The whole point of the low barrier to entry is to have enough independent nodes.. Wrong. The count of the nodes doesn't depends on the entry level but on the expected annual income. I doubt there will be many at 3.5% block reward. The different entry level attracts different type of investors - newbies or pros, smart or not, rich or not, long term or not, etc. 100 ZEN entry will attract more smart, responsible long term investors, and more important, it will lock more ZENs at nodes so there will be less free ZENs at the exchanges. Higher demand at lower supply - you know where the price goes.. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Hello, newbie here. If i set up a secure node with 100 Zen, can you estimate how much will be the reward? Thank you. you Just need 42 Zen for a secure node, with 100 you could setup 2 secure nodes. posting again .... If i create VPS and deposit 42 zen's and if i choose to cancel the vps do i get my 42 zens back ? I am waiting for secure nodes gone thru your tutorials and im gonna run them, so this question is very important for me. Can someone answer ? And yes ill join slack ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You don't need to have the Zen on the VPS, you'll just have to link one address with at least 42 zen and send a small tx to confirm it's yours.

3,5% for secure node. I believed that wil be changed for 12%..?
I'm wrong?
I think 3.5% is too low personally, but it depends on how many nodes there are. When you add those numbers you got 12% you probably think on this. 8.5+3.5 ZenCash funds growth using a redirection of a portion of the miner reward, to be spent on ZenCash using a community governance mode. In the ZenCash network, 8.5% of the tokens are allocated for community development, marketing, maintenance, and other costs paid for out of the treasury. This ensures that there are always enough resources available for growth. Yes 3.5 is very low reward for running node and i think you are right to expect this number to be increased. First scenario is small number of nodes and small reward. Second scenario good rewards and large number of nodes. Zen Secure nodes Reward Calculator http://zen.lebre.net

Today the Zen market is very expensive and everyone buys this altcoin a lot. I hope ZenCash in the future will have a higher price because I have invested in this altcoin a lot and hope to sell this altcoin at a higher price.
That forum they held on wednesday seems to have really helped! Look at the large increase in 24hour trade volume. This project really seems like it holds a fantastic path going forward. On another note, does anyone know where we can look up the network hashrate of zencash? https://zen.suprnova.cc/ at the time of the post: Net Hash: 7,100,604.00 Sol/s

Is this actually legit? What's the catch? Been following this ZEN project for quite some time and it is my favorite for sure. We have almost all our hashing power mining ZEN currently! Really loved the community forum today, thanks for holding that!! Faucets are an ancient (in internet time) tried and true method for trickling coins out to the masses. This one appears completely legit (read:worked for me) and has a simple captcha compared to some faucets I've seen. Ok, thanks! What are "zennies"? Do they even relate to this project? It's the smallest unit of Zen, like Bitcoin satoshi's a "Zennie" equals to 0.00000001 Zen I'll change to miliZen to avoid confusion Great, thanks for the heads up. So, will this appear as Zencash in my wallet or as zennies? You got Zen i already changed the name to milliZen to avoid further confusion , i didn't even realized that a coin named Zennie existed thanks for letting me know.

updating to the latest wallets. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) At the start of zen, I mined 120 coins approximately. Backed up my wallet files. I can't remember if you could access the private keys in eleos? Then after updating the wallet approximately version 0.0.5/6 windows 10 64. I could not import my coins successfully. I have been afk for a few months since then. On a different computer running eleos 0.0.7 mined another 40 coins over the past month. The wallet files are again backed up. Earlier this week I deleted the app data and installed 0.0.9 and imported the wallet. 100% connection still no coins? import successful.. I tried importing to swing as well but no luck. Clearly I'm missing something. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I asked on the official forum but received no response for well over 30 days. Any advice would be wonderful. @breadsax Also, the import private keys might not work. To be certain, just take your wallet.dat file and put it in AppData/Roaming/Zen, or create that folder if it does not exist. Restart the wallet and you should be golden.
