For me it seems that cgminer hangs on occuring difficulty changes of the pool like this (It just happened when I was checking the PC):

Code:
 [2013-09-30 00:30:49] Accepted 845b027c Diff 205/64 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-09-30 00:30:56] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block
 [2013-09-30 00:30:57] Accepted 2b1cb18f Diff 194/64 GPU 0 pool 0
 [2013-09-30 00:31:00] Accepted b0b966b5 Diff 171/64 GPU 1 pool 0
 [2013-09-30 00:31:02] Accepted a1d27d5a Diff 8.59K/64 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-09-30 00:31:03] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block
[2013-09-30 00:31:04] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2013-09-30 00:31:04] Pool 0 stratum share submission failure
 [2013-09-30 00:31:05] Pool 0 difficulty changed to 512.000000
 [2013-09-30 00:31:05] Pool 0 difficulty changed to 64.000000

I use CGWatcher but it seems that most times CGWatcher is not able to restart cgminer in these special cases.

I'm still having trouble with the US server sometimes losing its connection, or taking up to a couple of minutes to accept shares, resulting in all stale shares, the EU pool is unusable because it's behaving in the same way but worse.  I also assume that it's not my computers or internet connection causing it because my brother is having the same trouble.  The server stays connected but stops working properly, meaning that I have to disconnect and then reconnect, something that I can only do if I'm at the computer and notice it.

Have the same problem for 2-3 days now. cgminer crashes often using this pool. It ran for weeks without any problems before.

Can't connect too, just this info screen.

Would be nice to have an info from cryptsys about what is going on.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MultiCoin][Stratum+GW] multipool.in - Always mine the most profitable coin on: July 17, 2013, 01:46:08 PM
Although I love the idea of a multipool, my experience over 4 days now is extremely mixed.

Reason is that, at least I, have a lot of interruptions with this pool which means loss. Pool hangs, disconnects, a lot of rejects and not counting balances.

Seems that on WDC there are no payments too.

LTC seems to have large block rounds (more hours).

Would it be so bad to keep LTC out of the multipool mining and use it just for dedicated LTC mining if someone wants to?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MultiCoin][Stratum+GW] multipool.in - Always mine the most profitable coin on: July 16, 2013, 05:19:34 PM
If you stop submitting shares, your average hashrate drops and so does your reward.   So if you mine for 4 hours and stop, you will get paid for any blocks found within the next 24 hours, but your payments will be consecutively smaller for each block that is found.  If you keep mining, your payments will remain close to the same. (depending on pool hashrate).

Sure, but isn't that exactly the problem with mining in the multipool?

Let's say I mine LTC for 4 hours straight, then your pool switches my to another coin and  you switch me within the other more profitable coins, my 4 hours LTC mining is almost worthless because in these 4 hours I could have made more earnings with the other coins.

Or is this a wrong view?

Isn't this just because LTC rounds tend to take a long time? I've seen this kind of thing but I always get paid out eventually when the pool finds a block.

Problem seems to be the switching. If another coin becomes more profitable while mining LTC the multipool switches and as far I understand at that moment you lose alle your LTC shares if the block hasn't finished yet.

As far as I can see it for now, there needs to be a solution for LTC multipool mining.

I saw it a few times now that I mine LTC for hours, actual mining has over 460.000 shares, but no unconfirmed balances - the confirmed ones haven't changed either  Wink

That's a waste of resources for our side because we could have made money with the second best coin meanwhile.

EDIT:

If other users see it the same, a solution could be to move LTC out of the multipool.

Nice pool and I have my first coins in my accounts  Grin

But I have a problem to withdraw them to cryptsy, I tried with Luckycoin . I entered my Cryptsy LKC adress in my account and pressed "Cash Out".

Message is: "Another payout is currently in progress, try again in a minute."

That's it for 20 minutes now  Wink

Right, that's one of the biggest problems I see in todays exchanges.

Marked Making instead of just matching up buyers and sellers.

Most foreign exchange trading firms are market makers, and it seems to be totally lacking in the bitcoin world.

19  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Zahlungsbeleg für Bitcoin-Zahlungen on: June 12, 2013, 10:34:48 PM
