You reported similar behavior, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the same cause. What I'm saying is that this is the first time I've heard about this particular cause of price spikes from our developers. That doesn't mean it hasn't been around for a long time, I'm just saying I'm not sure how long it's been around since this is the first I've heard of this cause (again, cause, not the behavior). We've had other issues in the past that have caused similar spikes (like the bid>ask issue that has been discussed here before). Probably the behavior you saw 3 years ago was from the bid>ask issue.

Hi,

Just to clarify can I set Stop Loss <= Market order for example to sell during large dips safely? I'm now paranoid about setting them and walking away but finding them triggered due to the spikes. The graph glitches are annoying but I can put up with those.

I'd really like to be able to go to sleep in the knowledge that I can see some return. Being in the UK the real activity is invariably when I should be asleep!

It appears that the spikes aren't triggering stop losses (which is good, because it would be crazy otherwise, now the situation is rather limited except for messed up charts). So any stop loss you place should only be triggered by actual price-movements.

Cheers as yeah if it was triggering lots of orders everyone would leave pretty quickly!

Guys,

I learnt the whole process via HODL and applied that knowledge to activities since. I'm glad there's some more interest now but it needs exposure as it's still a mine able coin on modest resources and there's a lot of interest in the whole crypo market right now.

I'll see if I can dig out the old servers and add some hashing power to the network again.

Has anyone had a response recently from Kraken support as I've been waiting more than a fortnight to get a simple money transfer completed.

So currently my deposit is being withheld for no apparent reason and this level of support is unacceptable.

I'll PM the moderator and hopefully get a more positive response.

Got your PM and alerted support to your tickets.

Credit where it's due as Dargo has escalated my case and hopefully it will be processed shortly.

I've been using Kraken for a while and it's been one of the few exchanges where I can trade sterling in any volume so this is an unfortunate delay at a time I was hoping to make use of the recently announced buying services but we'll see.

I think this issue needs addressing maybe with a statement as it appears Kraken are having major issues with Paycash GBP/USD money deposits and the service has now been suspended!

I'm still waiting for a deposit to be completed and my bank have not been able to get a response either.

So what's going on behind the scenes?

I saw recently that the Daimler group have acquired PayCash Europe is this related and causing the delays?

I'd be pleased to see the forced Hodling removed myself as I was quite interested in the coin from very early on and basically cut my teeth on wallets, mining etc. with HODL. I did lose interest though with the forced holding as I see any activity important to keep a coin relevant. I've never sold one HODL even before the fork so I think it was unnecessary.
