By the way, does it make a difference if I put my mtgox account number as M12345678X or just 12345678?

does it make a difference if I put my mtgox account number as M12345678X or just 12345678?

posting over and over and over again isn't going to help.

The first way is just fine. Either way your account is going to have the same number. If there is an issue it will get ironed out. Unless you put the wrong account number then you will be fine. You can also use your mtgox username

Boy Shamdumdum,  you sound like a company plant. You must work for them and then come on the boards to defend them.

Nope! Just someone who understand that customer service reps can become very overwhelmed when a bunch of assholes are here complaining and reposting and spamming and threatening to sue and all that shit. They don't deserve that, and if you really think I'm a plant then you need to rethink all of this.

And we believe you......NOT

You can believe whatever you want to, but bitinstant will come out of this with positive reviews because most people are being helped. Maybe being an asshole doesn't work to get people to help you.

hey URSAY!

Do I have to submit something through bitinstant.com/contact? I know that I was on a couple of lists and you said you escalated my issue, and then an email saying that I was sent coins but I haven't gotten anything yet. If I need to resubmit something that is fine, I would just like to know Smiley

I will spend a ton of time calling your ass out

http://bitinstantscam.com/index.php

I would like to organize a Class Action Suit...I am not an attorney, but I think if we get a large enough group together, we could do something.. I would be the first to organize and arrange this...I only was stuck like 30$, but I spent a lot of energy going thru the Dwolla process and then, now, tracking my money down... By the way, Dwolla will not do anything about your coins being stuck...In fact, they acknowledged to me that BitInstant is running what looks like a Ponzi scheme, and they will not do anything about it....I have sent numerous PMs,emails, support lists, yada yada yada, and nothing...I also think they are going to give back large sums first, and let the little sums go on, and hope that noone  goes after them.....My logic here, is that we gather an enormous group, and file..I am one state over, and could make it into NYC if I had to... This way, even if you were ripped off for 10$, everyone gets a piece of the action....PM me, if you would be interested in filling a class action suit... The faster we get on this, the quicker it will be....Also, BitInstant should not be in business right now....If you know you can not provide an accurate, and honest service, then why take peoples' money? I like to focus on whats between the lines...The way they have that automated system setup, is to scam people...If you go to their website, it use to say "Bitcoins within one hour", now it does not....There is no reason that they should be short on money...If you are overwhelmed with business, stop being greedy and shut down....Honestly, BitInstant, Ursay, this is going to get very ugly soon....I predict by next week or so, BitInstant will stop responding to the forums...Watch and learn!

BitInstant Lawsuit, BitInstant Class Action Lawsuit, BitInstant.com, Where to buy Bitcoins, Charlie Shrem, Yankee, Ursley, BitInstant Scam, http://www.linkedin.com/in/charlieshrem

Send me my coins, and dont charge me a fee!! I want them at market price to... I will be on Linkedin next!!

quit this spam shit. You are talking to people who don't care, because we know that bitinstant reps are working, and if you want to think they aren't then that's fine. Have your own opinions, quit being a dick.

What is the minimum amount for a transfer between exchanges(using coupons)? I was trying to send 15.40 from BTC-e to Mtgox today and after submitting the form I'd just get redirected to the homepage.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I'm almost positive that the minimum is $20.

Am i ever gonna get some support? Seriously. Respond to my PMs.

Sending him a bunch of PM's is only going to slow things down. And he is now sleeping I hope.

YES! I finally see the unconfirmed transaction coming in.

Question, I'm getting a market price of $170.335772852, but on 4/3/2013 the high was $146 (and closer to $125 when I made the transfer).

Is bitinstant not honoring the prices at the time of the transaction anymore?

They are. You have to do the math and let them know this. You also have to request for a new ticket to be opened up. They will close your first ticket (which I am glad they were able to fix! I have seen a lot of your posts over the last couple of days.), and then a new ticket will have to be opened to get the difference in price. I had my first ticket close, and made a new ticket to get the difference, but it hasn't been done yet. It looks like we're still gonna have to wait for that at this point.

Ah, thanks for the info. I'll submit the ticket and stop harassing URSAY then finally.

Good plan! Smiley I know it was iffy for awhile, but he has never quit working. Gotta give that man some crazy props.

Hi everyone!

Regardless of the crazy market today we got a lot done...

Myself and another CS rep were trained to better handle some issues without need to escalate.  We were able to solve a good amount of support issues for this reason.  It was also another record breaking volume day.  As we try to improve you force us to go even harder.  Cheesy

We launched the new @bitinstanthelp on Twitter which will allow for better communication about current news

Plans pushed forward for some big announcements which I believe are still planned for sometime this later week...very excited...  Smiley

Tomorrow will be similar.  I think we'll see another large round of customer issues resolved.

I want to apologize to anyone with issues that have been open for TOO LONG.  We honestly are not trying to scam anyone.  If that was the case I would NOT want to work for BitInstant.  I am here to help and I will do my best if you can help me understand your situation fully.

I'm gonna put in some more work tonight as well...don't worry... Wink

Shout out to shadumdum.  Thanks for your help!  Sent you something...

I got it! Thank you so much. You have been so helpful for all of this. I am happy to help! I will continue to go through these forums and help out as much as possible. I have been able to catch a couple of people who have publicly put their codes up and I made new codes to get their money to them. I can only do so much without being hired, but I'm always happy to help Smiley

Now I am just excited to get my issue resolved Smiley I have faith though.

My sig has been updated and contains answers to many of the questions that I receive.

Final 4/10 support list will be posted shortly.

Thanks!  Cheesy

Hi!

I sent a PM with my info and my email and you said that you were emailing people back but I never got anything. I just wanted to make sure that you are aware of my situation.

It's good seeing that people are having their orders go through! Woo hoo! Smiley

Yes I'm a noob in the excitin new world of crypto currency. I'll be happy with 400. Keep a little for teaching me something.

Unfortunately it REALLY wasnt me. There is however hope for you.. a lot of those codes they send out dont even work.. yours could have been one of those and in that case theyd still be required to send you another code. Hopefully thats the case

Thank you yellowbellypig for coming out and saying that it wasn't you. There have now been two people who have put their codes up today and they have been busted from it. I was able to successfully intercept one of them earlier, but I can only stay so updated on this forum.

URSAY never got my USD transfer on mtgox I gave my mtgox address as DestAccount but maybe this was wrong?

TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN ISSUE AND IS POSTING HERE. PLEASE PAY HUGE ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE POSTING. IF YOU RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM BITINSTANT, THERE MAY BE A APIRESPONSE CODE AT THE BOTTOM. This code is what gives you your funds on mtgox[/b][/size] If you post this publicly, YOU WILL BE ALLOWING ANYONE ON THIS FORUM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. I have seen this for a couple of people now. I was succesfully able to help out one person by stealing the code before anyone else could. I then contacted this person with a newly generated code that I made and he received his funds. He has stated that everything went smoothly as seen below

yo why you exposing the hustle for

It's something called caring maybe? Sorry I want to be a good person and try to help people out on the forums. If you took it, it would be great if you sent him a PM with a new code. You don't need to tell anyone you took it or anything, because I'm sure he will be thrilled that he has it back. These forums are meant to help people. Not steal the money of people who are just trying to get a little bit of help.

I also placed an order today and received a message saying a serious error occurred. I was going to wait to see if it clears tomorrow, but maybe you can help with that also.

You see that APIResponse number? That is the mtgox code you use to get your funds. I tried to use it so the money would be sitting in my account and I could contact you to give you your money, but someone else has already used the code. I JUST posted about someone else doing this. Everything with your transaction went through correctly, but the email has TERRIBLE wording and I can understand how you are confused. You had the money sitting right there, and then you made it public, and someone who is not trying to look out for you got ahold of it. At this point you will need to make sure that URSAY gets you on the 4/10 list, or you can contact mtgox. They have great customer service and should be able to respond to you very quickly. (no stabs at URSAY, but he is only one man, and mtgox has lots.) You can email them here: https://support.mtgox.com/anonymous_requests/new

Please note that they put out a statement saying they have seen 6 times as many support issues recently, so they have changed their email response time from a couple of hours (which they were VERY good about) to a couple of days. I would still try them. I am interested to hear what you come back with. now...

Would someone be able to walk me through getting set up for mining? I've never done it before. I can't find instructions anywhere.

I can't begin to talk about how ridiculously misplaced this comment is. On this website there are literally thousands of posts about how to do this. There is also google search. This is a forum for people having issues with bitinstant.

Hello. I'm wondering why my money is taking so long to be available on mtgox.
My payment has already been identified by ZipZap and Ebanx. But not by Bitinstant.

In the email from you guys, verifying my transaction. I was told specifically, that "We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order. We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account" So, if you sent me that email, why did you not make the deposit??

I responded to your actual post but I will respond here too. I don't know why it does this. The wording is TERRIBLE a nd for some reason it hasn't gotten fixed yet. That code though was your money. Your transaction DID work properly, but you assumed it didn't, and now it is going to have to be turned into a real service request. I'm sorry   Undecided

I am unresolved and on the 4/8 support list. Do i need to get on the 4/9 support list? or 4/10 support list?

You should be good to go. They know that there are still unresolved issues on earlier lists. They haven't forgotten about you.

I wish I would have been watching earlier, but I took a nap. That APIResponse is your mtgox code that you should have put in on the site.

Someone earlier did the exact same thing, but I was able to put the funds into my account, and then get in contact with them. I ended up sending them the new code and their situation worked out perfectly I just tried to do the same thing, except that the code has already been used. It was either you, a mistake, or someone on this form who isn't going to be a good person. I wish I would have been able to catch this. A request through here is going to be your best bet to get your funds back, but you might be shit out of luck since you listed it publicly. I am interested to know how this works out for you.

Best of luck!
