1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi Nakamoto create Bitcoin using Superintelligence(A.I.) on: February 12, 2017, 08:54:05 AM
I am seriously considering this prospect. We could make this viral and get it onto the media so that Satoshi Nakamoto himself might respond.

Sometimes, I imagine that Satoshi could be an AI from the future. Time travel could be impossible except for electric informations. The AI could communicate with internet and create a money for the future. When humans starts following and developping Bitcoin themselves, the AI can hide and wait for the growing wallet...
Then why give us the faulty version of Bitcoin?

If that was an AI from the future then it should already knew how bitcoin would evolve and have answers and fixes to some of its problems we try to solve today.
If we had better version of BTC from the start, then taking over the world would be far less complicated for Bitcoin network - assuming that this is the goal, total adoption.

Guys just accept that it was a human behind bitcoin, not some terminator AI sent from the future.

Unless it needs to make us believe that the bitcoin was invented by a human...

The A.I. just had to put the genius outside the bottle with enough human errors. Just think about it...

Exactly!!!

We already had a discussion on this topic a few days ago and I stand by my opinion that we have not yet developed such high-end technology to create a cryptocurrency (especially a cryptocurrency like bitcoin having tremendous potential and proven track record). I am not dismissing the possibility but the probability is lower than 0.01% in my opinion. No one can find the answer until Satoshi’s disclosure.

Exactly, Bitcoin is developed with technology that we know already but he migrated them with different talent he had and names it as decentralized currency. Really he is genius in making digital currency and now today all over the world are talking about bitcoin. Techniques will come to mind when has an attitude to do it different which should be unique to other currency.

True he is definitely a genius...

So don't you think Bitcoin could be partially coded by A.I.?

I can see that as a possibility.  Satoshi and A.I.

Thanks!

P.S. Here's a thought, maybe Satoshi created an AI and named it after himself, which coded Bitcoin. XD

Exactly..

Just a thought. Dan Kaminsky had said the initial bitcoin implementation was extremely painstakingly coded to prevent attacks. This amount of perfection surely isn't fully human I suppose.

I retract my claim. Satoshi Nakamoto is definitely a human(or trying to act like one). A genius at that. He made two mistakes in his posts: walkthough and idealogical. So what if he had invented an A.I. with which he created a bitcoin. He would have obviously made mistakes or made inelegant code just to throw us off. How about that?

With this hypothesis, we can safely say self recursively improving A.I. existed since 2008/2009. But we have not found a way to make it. Whereas Satoshi made it and used it on his own accord. But then the question again is "Who is Satoshi?"

There is no problem to create a self learning AI

The theories behind machine learning had been properly developed some 40-50 years ago. The main problem is that it is often not worth doing it. In most real world cases you will get better results with less costs by logic being hard coded (explicit programming), i.e. either by directly employing some quantitative theory already existing in the field of your interest or by using statistical approach (when you can't rely on such a theory)

So don't you think Bitcoin could be partially coded by A.I.?

I would say a supernatural being in the garb of a human male with human lingo. He was trying to be relevant just to throw us off.

But why did he do it? Is it a part of the grand scheme of things? We may never know...

Couldn't Satoshi Nakamoto be an A.I. Bitcoin's implementation was certainly complex involving 31,000 lines of code. Bitcoin was probably created by an A.I. What do you guys think?
