Trop bon! je me remémore mes anciens posts (3 ans auparavant!) et les discussions sur ce channel, que le temps a passé.. Mais comme cela est dit à la fin, j'étais quand même là au bon moment, dans un secteur porteur et qui reste encore porteur aujourd'hui.

Il suffit de regarder ce qui se passe actuellement pour BTC: Des mineurs quittent BTC pour soutenir BCH pendant la crise du fork et hop! encombrement maximal. Des transactions en attente, des vendeurs qui paniquent, des frais qui augmentent.
Les devs de BTC ne "prennent pas leur temps" comme tu dis, ils ne font rien et surtout ne veulent rien faire.
Encombrement maximal ? Frais qui augmentent ? Le mempool BTC a augmenté brutalement à 40 000 transactions non confirmées et il a fallu toute la nuit pour le vider. Il était où le LN miracle? Alors évidemment, c'était éphémère puisque les mineurs testaient la bascule vers BCH afin de soutenir la chaine ABC. Mais cela prouve que la moindre petite crise affecte gravement le BTC. Si le fork BCH se passe mal et que la chaine ABC a besoin de soutien, BTC aura de très graves problèmes avec un bloc validé toutes les heures puis toutes les deux heures et ça ira de pire en pire. Je comprends lorsque tu t'exprimes clairement  Oui, la guerre entre BCHSV et BCHABC a fait mal au hashrate mais in fine ça sera à leurs dépens, du moins je l'espère sinon on a pas fini de souffrir. |

Sauf qu'ethereum fait plus qu'échanger de la monnaie.
Bitcoin ne fait que ça et de manière bien plus lente, limitée et onéreuse que beaucoup de cryptos maintenant(et je parle pas de sa conso d'energie).
Cela n'a jamais été le but qu'Ethereum soit une monnaie d'échange en dehors de son réseau. On ne sait même pas combien d'Ethers circuleront à terme, donc impossible d'être une réserve de valeur. |

Ce n'est pas comme cela qu'il était censé fonctionner au départ.
Au départ, il était prévu que les blocks soient de 1MB et ça n'a pas bougé. Lightning network n'est pas un pis-aller. C'est la solution qui a été privilégiée par le réseau afin de protéger la décentralisation. BCH et ses futurs 128 MB ne va favoriser que les gros mineurs. D'ailleurs, même Ethereum va utiliser les 2nd layers (tel que LN) via le sharding. |

C'est en spéculation, pas en crypto prometteuses.
Clair mais dans un marché pareil, les crypto prometteuses mieux vaut s'en abstenir et faire quelques quick trades. D'ailleurs, c'est le nombre de coins qui distraient les investisseurs du BTC. On en paie tous le prix maintenant. |

Swissborg is burning cash very quickly as they have a big team and sold very few ethers at the top.
Not sure they will be able to deliver what is expected from them...

Ce qui n'a pas changé depuis 1 an, c'est le faible nombre de personnes sur ce thread parlant du BTC... Quand les alts étaient au top, il fallait acheter des alts. Maintenant que les alts ont pris un bouillon, il faut racheter des alts...  Pourtant le meilleur moyen de voir vos alts gagner de la valeur en euro est d'en convertir une partie en BTC. |

MonaCoin is mineable and has 100M marketcap.
Mona is kinda the dogecoin of japan no?. Started as a joke/for fun. They will make technical update (lightning etc ?) but when it come to "why buy this ?" I dont think it will get widespread use in the future.
Not saying it will not see new Ath, but really unpredictable.
Also take a look at Alis token for another japanese coin with a lot of ongoing work
MONA was forked from Litecoin, not Doge. It suffered lately like all alts but the investment rationale remains the same: - most popular Japanese coin - Japan is crypto friendly and gave legal tender status to Mona and others - good tech with segwit and atomic swaps - traded vs fiat in Japan - now that Bitflyer operates in the US and Europe, there is a good chance that Mona will be added there when alts are listed (only Btc is traded on Bitflyer US at the moment) - potential for being listed in South Korea and Binance at some point It's a sleeper and definitely worth a punt at this valuation. |

New investors should be reminded 2 things:
1/ always keep a portion of your portfolio in BTC. > 40% is my recommendation
2/ trade altcoins for the short term. Be quick at taking profits or losses into Bitcoin. When you are down 50% in satoshi terms, you need your alt to grow 100% vs BTC to get your money back. Few alts achieve that.

I've been watching this coin for a long time, too. But so far, no major news is not planned. I do not understand what he writes here!
MONA is no hype coin. It is growing organically with no central authority preparing "big news". However, the community is very active in Japan so you can expect many positive announcements in the coming months as the adoption grows. You should consider having some MONA in your portfolio for the long term. |
