I have GPU4 watchdog error happening every 6 hours even on factory bios on my Sapphire RX470 OC 8GB (Micron)
How to lower ethereum mining intensity on GPU4 only?

Hi,
I'm having issues with MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon and 6 GPUs under Ubuntu 16.04.
I got 6 Sapphire RX470 Nitro (non-plus) OC 8GB (Micron memory) and even with stock bios settings as soon as I start Claymore miner two out of six cards all of sudden goes to 0mh/s.
Motherboard is running bios 1.7
Ubuntu 16.04 kernel 4.4.0-78 amdgpu-pro 17.10-429170
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dom

Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 with claymore 9.3 and amdgpu-pro drivers 17.10. There are six XFX RX480 8GB cards in the system with low power bios 29mh/s. Five out of six cards are mining fine but GPU0 is only doing 4mh/s.

I had the same setup running Windows previously and all cards were mining with ~29mh/s.

I'm getting an error when trying to use calymore on ubuntu 16.04: Cannot build OpenCL program for GPU . AMDgpu-pro drivers 16.40 and SDK are installed. Any ideas?

Nice work! I'm gonna deffo donate:) I got 6 cards in my rig but on the dashboard it says that I got 36. I presume its a bug.

I got ASrock BTC v2 motherboard and when make onboad Intel gpu as primary, then Claymore or MSI Afterburn don't show my RX480 cards temperature anymore. I'm running Win10 and Crimson 16.9.2
Any ideas?

Hi, i just started mining with claymore. 5 RX480 red devils, and on of them keeps hashing low, i copy what im getting
ETH - Total Speed: 102.287 Mh/s, Total Shares: 139, Rejected: 0, Time: 01:35 ETH: GPU0 4.220 Mh/s, GPU1 24.774 Mh/s, GPU2 24.149 Mh/s, GPU3 24.665 Mh/s, GPU4 24.718 Mh/s
Can you guys help me and tell why getting that low hash rate
Thanks
I had same problem with simplemining Linux running Claymore. I switched back to Win 10 no problems. Im running Win 10. Crimson 16.6 for drivers... That GPU seems locked in core clock and memory clock, dont know why. Im ticking with the settings of my cards, two of them i get it cool working, but when i apply the same settings to the others two i get WATCHDOG: GPU 3 hangs in OpenCL call, exit o WATCHDOG: GPU 1 hangs in OpenCL call, exit Can someone give tips on how to solve this two issues... I had the same issue with my 6x XFX RX480 rig and became more stable when switched back to 16.9.2 crimson driver. All cards are flashed with Boysie's 29MH Low power bios mod. Getting 173MH/s on 6x XFX RX480 8GB with 850W power usage from the wall.

I really like your setup!
I see you got EVGA 1200 G2 PSU. Is it enough for 6 x Sapphire RX480? I'm planning to build a very similar setup using Rosewill RSV-L4500 server case but with 6 x XFX RX480 GTR 8GB and Asrock BTC v2 motherboard. GPU cards will be bios moded (undervolt and overclock memory). I was a bit worried 1200W might be not enough. I was thinking to go with EVGA 1600 P2. Is really worth spending extra money on 1600W Platinium class PSU? I don't think I will ever run more than 6 GPUs.
Thanks
Dom
