10  Economy / Computer hardware / CORSAIR 1200w PSU and GIGABYTE 7950's on: May 13, 2013, 11:54:32 PM
I was going to build another rig but travel plans for next month have gotten in the way. I have these for sale:

1) CORSAIR 1200AX PSU $220SOLD
Currently priced on amazon at $288.78 ($20 increase from when I purchased it)
Bought on 4/11 and was put into service on the 17th. I replaced it within two weeks when I added a 4th card.
I do not have the entire original packaging. but I do have the cardboard box it came in and the fancy black bag and all the cables that came with it.

1) Gigabyte 7950 3GB GDDR5 windforce $290SOLD
This card is Undervolted @ 1.09V (switch 2) It has not been used for more than an hour.
It was simply taken out of the box, voltage modified, tested and was put back in it's original box.

2) Gigabyte 7950 3GB GDDR5 windforce $300 each1 LEFT
Cards are still sitting in their original box, never opened which means never touched or used.

shipping
I will ship via FedEx Ground for Domestic. If international, we'll have to add shipping prices to the mix.

My post count is really low on this site which may raise scammer flags. I'm over on Litecoin.net under the same handle.
I will not do 50% now -ship- then 50% upon arrival. I'm a fair person and I do not want to soil my name on either forum. I'm willing to escrow with a reputable member/mod if you wish.
I prefer in this particular order Dwolla, LTC.

edit: Shipping from Los Angeles.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / (LTC) system recognizes 5th card but Cgminer only sees four on: May 13, 2013, 11:01:17 PM
I thought I was good to go with five 7950's on my GA990fxa-ud5 but cgminer will not see the 5th gigabyte 7950.
each of my cards has been voltage unlocked to 1.09V and I'm using one powered 16x riser in the mix.
I've tried a 1x powered risers and different pci slots and I still can't get the 5th on cgminer.

I've read on the forum that my mobo gives some fits. I don't think I need to 'short' any of the slots since my windows system recognizes all cards.

Can anybody help in this situation?

2 on that huge PSU shouldn't be a problem  Cheesy
14  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Will this work on: April 28, 2013, 04:46:29 AM
any update? Just ordered a LEPA 1600 for my 5 7950's
My reasoning was that I didn't want too many wires/connectors to increase resistance.
everybody talks about powered risers.... shouldn't a big PSU take care of pci slots?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin: 1x to 16x PCI-E extenders, CPU question on: April 28, 2013, 04:03:06 AM
I will going up to 5 cards on my Gigabyte 990fx-UD5 (it doesn't have a 6pin connector like that MSI board, *nifty*)

I've read that 6 pin connectors will supply 75w while the 6+2 pin connectors will supply125w for a total of 225 watts to the card. I'm using gigabyte 9750's.. I read on the AMD site that they draw 200W a piece.

Why would I need powered risers when a LEPA G 1600w PSU will be in place? That's enough power for 5 cards and 300w to spare.
16  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: what are AMD and Intel waiting for? on: April 14, 2013, 06:42:00 AM
Still too risky for them
Besides they could wait another year and still beat BFL to shipping...  Tongue

OKpay seems like the way to go.

make sure when you set up your account at BTC-e that you click on email withdrawal confirmation. There are a few complaints of funds being stolen. I use virurex too when PPC was available there and at another spot. BTC-e trades PPC and TRC now.

good luck
