Not a good idea. Best Idea is to hold gold or other commodities in hand. As for others, check out https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade#Financial .

Personally for me that currency aspect is not so much interesting as in the startups built around them. Honestly, I am a tad skeptical of the price increase. But anyways. Better than devalued fed notes.

I know bitcoins tend to attract libertarians, so I will ask this: how can we use bitcoins to push towards a free society. It is good for hookers and drugs, along with buying some computer parts and such, but until people start earning bitcoins, it will be hard to get the train going. ( I am working on a solution, but that is besides the point). So basically, how can we create an alternative economy with bitcojs, as to opposed a small niche? I am working toward eliminating my statist footprint, but it is hard since ther eare not many bitcoin alternative to statist solutions.and it is also hard to use bitcoins if you can't earn them. And I think that is a key. Mt. Gox or others won't necessarily always be around, thus there must be a source for bitcoins.

I have been looking for ways to both profit and benefit the community with bitcoins, and I have been wondering if it would be better to start a clearnet or tor site that accepts bitcoins. But since tor only has 500k a month, I am atad hesitent. What do yous think? Should I set up on the clearnet? Or tor? Btw, I have an idea that I am trying to work on , (bitcoinfreelancing.forumotion.com ) . And also, what would be some ways to promote this site? Thanks.

Hello. I am not new to bitcoins, but I am ready to apply myself to the idea now, and so I am now trying to network with the community. I have been thinking about opening up a bitcoin business, but have been at a loss for what I should do. But tonight, along with joining this, I decided to create a forum for buying and selling freelancing services. ( http://www.bitcoinfreelancing.forumotion.com ) I am also interested in entrepreneurship, libertarian politics, and international living. Cheesy The memberships for my site at the moment are free, but that won't last for long.
