2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Evga GTX 1050 ti on: May 14, 2017, 05:33:32 PM
I was thinking about buying three of these... I am assuming by specs they will do well for mining but I would like to know your guys' opinions.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to mine with older cards ETH on: May 13, 2017, 02:41:17 PM
Go out and buy a real GPU. Buy a Radeon 7950 for like $50 off Craigslist. Those GPUs you are trying to mine with are a complete joke. Your CPU can probably make more money than those GPUs.

iknow but id really like to gerts these working so if you have any ideas i will invest when i learn more i cant get hardly anything working

probably ETC also is not minable with those gpu, try to mine very new dager coin such as musiccoin or HUSH, hush is profitable now for amd but always consider dual mining if you want more profit, i would recommend siacoin

hey this is what i got

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Trying to mine with older cards ETH on: May 12, 2017, 05:38:24 PM
Okay I have been trying a bunch of different miners and I have had nothing but trouble. I am totally lost. I have Amd 4600s  and for every miner so far I am having Opencl errors the most common one being opencl is not for this target. What does this mean? I have tried messing with my .bat file as best I can. I know they won't be profitable but I want to get all my older components mining for me so I would love it if someone had some insight on the subject.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Am i mining? on: May 09, 2017, 03:21:06 PM
well i dont get it i know its a bad hashrate but wats weird is im getting 3 times the hr as my gtx 1080 and i make 4 dollars a day with it... but i am just wondering why its is saying connected to pool giving me hashrates finding blocks and still saying my worker is inactive one day i will try and find a mate to start a farm but for now im just having fun staying in the scene

From what I see in the image you posted the shares you are sending are rejected.
From what I've read here ( https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/2mjr2c/help_100_reject_highhash/ ) this may be due the fact you try to send sha256 (bitcoin) shares to a litecoin pool.
This means that you have wrong miner software or wrong settings.

That's also why mining looked this profitable to you. Really, mining litecoin with GPU is not an option now.
Try ETH, XMR, XEC, XZC, ... read more, you'll find the right coin for your card.
kay solid advice thanks

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LKETC USB MINER on: March 07, 2017, 06:46:56 PM
Hello everyone, I just received my LKETC USB scrypt miners and I don't know what to do. I assumed there would be literature included with the shipment but there is absolutely nothing. Can someone give a link or some advice on where to get some info on setting these things up. I would prefer to use them on Windows 8 if possible. Thank you.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IKETC usb miners on: February 22, 2017, 04:00:29 AM
I guess I will test it out but I thought monero was a scrypt coin. fucking a I should have just bought one I saw the hashrate and thought well if I can do better than 10 cent a day per miner I will be happy. What about z coin and do these work with minergate or will they not recognize them... I actually have a really good GPU a EVGA GTX 1080 and I can only mine bitcoin on nicehash because for some reason minergate's GUI always drops my GPU. I have a lot more to learn but I won't get too disappointed with the results. I mean hey maybe someday a coin that I can use them on will come out. I mean I am under the assumption that it is difficulty of the coin that makes these usb miners obsolete. I don't know It will feel good either way just learning about this stuff. There is definitely a lot to learn when entering this realm. If you have any useful pointers I would appreciate it. I kinda wish I could start a Zcoin farm because from my newb eye it loks like a coin that will be very popular but the difficulty is low I also like  Aeon right now. COrrect me if I am wrong but is AEON CPU mining only?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IKETC usb miners on: February 20, 2017, 10:42:32 PM
well electric is free so either way im not worried about it the total set up will cost me 80 dollars without a pi. There are no coins that can be mined with this decently not even z coin or what about aeon?  I guess can you explain to me my cpu mines 230 h/s and i am having fun with it and the usb miner is 230 kh/s each so wont I be able to do 1,000 times better each? At this stage I am playing and learning but maybe down the line i will dig in and spend some real dough on a farm. As farm as the Os it sounds like i can run it on most anything? Do we have a thread for different gpus to mine with cheapest blah blah blah most efficient and all that junk? I am looking to make a GPU rig to less for fun more for profit with that one.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / IKETC usb miners on: February 20, 2017, 10:01:42 AM
I ordered a few IKETC usb scrypt miners to play with. I was wondering about the raspberry pi OS and id I can install it on any old laptop I have laying around or do I have to buy a pi. I am sure there will be literature that comes with the miner but I was hoping I could just maybe run ubuntu and start mining Zcoin with them and see what I can do. I can't really find any info about different way sto utilize this usb miner so does anyone have something interesting they can tell me or maybe link me somewhere that has ways of mining with this.
17  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / STUPID QUESTION on: February 20, 2017, 07:26:31 AM
Okay I am going through that stage where I want to mine on everything possible even my shit smart phones. And I was thinking I have an HD PVR. I don't really understand how capture cards really work but I was wondering if it is possible to mine with on somehow I would assume it being similar to a GPU it has some sort of processing. Maybe some one could explain it to me. I will probably get laughed at but it popped in my head and I had to ask. Grin
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU question MSI Twin Frozen III Video Cards on: February 18, 2017, 01:49:50 AM
Okay I will take your guys' advice. I am still out to make a cheap gpu miner but I will be patient for some good deals. Any of you guys out there done anything like this in terms of low budget mining?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU question MSI Twin Frozen III Video Cards on: February 18, 2017, 01:09:29 AM
They are the 6950s, Do you think if I got them for 30 bucks each that would be a good enough deal to fool around with them? Should I try to talk him down a little more or should I scrap the whole idea. Honestly I don't want to spend a lot on a gpu rig but would like it to atleast eventually be able to mine me something I can atleast look at and think its cool. I have no clue what I'd be getting Honestly If I could make a dollar from all three a day I'd be happy I just want to be as cheap as possible because in a way that makes this project fun. I was also looking at the XFX 6770 which i know would be shit but the guy will sell two for 20 bucks. Any thoughts?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU question MSI Twin Frozen III Video Cards on: February 18, 2017, 12:35:58 AM
Are you stupid? It says MSI in the title and this is the mining thread and if you are going to be a twat I am going to call you out because this is the mining thread and asking if it mines decently at all in general for different types of coins logically it would do well in most facets of coin including bitcoin. Answer the question or bug off, you are just being a twat at this point you no lifer besides correct me if I am wrong this is the mining thread...

PS I didnt ask you if you recommend mining with 1080 you autist I asked you what card the MSI Twin Frozr 3 compares well with so I can get a reference to how it will mine for different difficulties. If you would have told me that I would be at Nicehash right now looking it up instead of schooling you on how to actually help someone with a question while you dance around a question and point out everything except for the actual answer tot he question..
