1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: April 29, 2019, 04:40:28 PM
There is one very, very old problem. One fine (in fact, no) moment on all farms with the Onda D1800 motherboard, the assembly stopped working correctly. If no more than 4 cards - it works as soon as there are more cards - errors that the card does not see, etc. When it broke - I can not say for sure. Once again I tried to run - I do not see the cards. It is necessary to put Hive back - there is no problem.

Vega and Radeon VII support

We are proud to announce ....
Great job, but not work - teamredminer not worked (do nothing), xmrstack not worked (bootloop). BTW claymore eth worked, but it's no need
Yeah, not many miner programs support those stupid Vega GPUs Smiley

Hmmm... This miner software normal worked on Hive/VegaEdition. All version TRM worked from 0.4 and above with CN/R on Vega similary Win - OC/undervolt/etc

Can You tell more ?
Can you post config without wallet info and what GPU you had ? Vega 64 or Radeon VII ?
Did you tried with less OC settings ?
You are using BETA image that supports VEGA/Radeon VII (its obvious as you succeeded in claymore right ?)

5 Vega - 4 Saphire Nitro 56 (Hynix) + 1 ref 56 (Samsung). OC setting worked from win/hive beyond test 1304/900 890mv, but after changed +- and have no effect. At Claymore Dual all ok - have 37,5 MH on each. Yes, image for Vega. TRM config:

Code:
-a cnr -o stratum+tcp://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444 -u xxx -p x --api_listen=127.0.0.1:4028

Vega and Radeon VII support

We are proud to announce that Simplemining.net started supporting Vega and Radeon VII graphics cards.
This is still in beta stage, but first tests passed successfully even with OC and UV support.

To start using Vega/VII GPUs You need to reflash Your pendrive by downloading newest beta image from our download section.

OC and UV is also supported via dashboard in the same way as with RX GPUs, but the "user's powerstage" option is ignored because of autoselect of best powerstage procedure for those cards.

Great job, but not work - teamredminer not worked (do nothing), xmrstack not worked (bootloop). BTW claymore eth worked, but it's no need

Like proper undervolting and power consumption, better support when you contact them by email.

Its SIMPLE - UIX Element in app better than nano-element from browser, no capcha, maybe better programing miner parametrs.

Hi, what about new timing-hack utility for Dagger-Hashimoto on 1080/1080ti with 56MH on 1080ti? Link to gh https://github.com/OhGodACompany/OhGodAnETHlargementPill

I am waiting to see if that binary is safe first Smiley
Then i guess i could implement it.
Any informations  about this binary ?

UPDATE
- added miner claymore-eth-v11.2

Oh, it so kawaiii... Sory, but no. Man, update ccminer to 2.2 and another green-algo miners, otherwise I will have to go to the hivefarm with a dozen farms.

How many can you update the endless Claymore's programs, in which nothing changes and still do not update the ccminer to 2.2+?

Awesome Tytanick! I have been using SMOS for several months now and just wanted to say thanks! It really has been flawless and works better than any of the other linux based mining OS's out there.
Great job and keep up the great work!
Yeah thx.
Still it is getting to be more and more complicated to mantain from my point of view Cheesy
Linux is better over winows in mater of server usage/mass mining usage.
Still linux rapped in simplemining box is more user friendly becasue i know how hard is for average user to start with linux Smiley
Also there is merging one more operating system which ended their ICO - its EasyMine and they are in closed beta stage.
Could be very similar project to mine. They are also from Poland but i never talked with them.

I am currently focusing from month on Extension Boards and SRR new firmware.
It will have a lot more features and some rare bugs fixed Smiley

About adding new miners, i really dont want to add every single miner out there.
It is already too much of them so i am adding slowly only those which are most wanted like DSTM or new claymore versions.
more miners = more mess = more complicated.

All this is very good, except that some of the most basic algorithms, such as NeoScrypt, are not covered in the SMOS. Which adversely affects when there are profitable coins at the moment, and there is nothing to gain, while the transition to Windows takes a lot of time and effort to change and adjust the rig.
