I have received no refund after multiple weeks and my transaction took 30+ hours.

They are still operating.

Do not use.

It's because Bittrex is dogshit. That's why. Having the same problem. Can't create any new addresses, despite being verified.

Sorry to say that I don't feel bad for anyone who got scammed after page 3 in this thread.
I tried to warn everyone that this was most likely scam but people continued to send the OP btc.

People aren't going to check this thread until they already suspect they've been scammed. ConfirmTX seemed legit for a while, only until the last few weeks. Unfortunately their service did work for a while and many claimed it was legit. I've used it before and had my first confirmation in <20 minutes and paying less than the recommended tx fee.

Apparently there are more free tx accelerators like viabtc, but they're not winning on SEO.

ConfirmTX has very good SEO right now along with reddit and other forum posts recommending them, etc.

I've posted here as well for visibility.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confirmtx.com is not honoring their terms. on: December 02, 2017, 11:12:39 PM
Why would you use any paid confirmation services when there are people doing it for free ?
Thanks for putting it up here so others can know how easy it is to fall victim for the transaction acceleration scams. How did you find them ? Through bitcointalk ? If yes, please update your thread with their profile details so DT can tag them accordingly.

I'm only aware of viabtc and I can't ever get a txid included there, they're always over the limit. I'm not aware of any other free accelerators.

The first time I used confirmtx my transaction had its first confirmation in 20 minutes.

At any rate, .04LTC doesn't matter and hopefully this scam will be shut down.

What information is needed? I linked their profile here.

Thx
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Update: confirmtx.com is NOT honoring their terms. Possible Scam. on: December 02, 2017, 07:40:56 AM
Transaction took nearly 48 hours.

After 48 hours:

No acceleration.

No refund.

No contact from ConfirmTX.

Please be wary of this service. They are no longer honoring their terms or responding to customers.
This is an unfortunate and drastic change from previous months.

Was there a change in ownership??

UP
Hey CINNICOIN can you update the OP?
The pools are closed becouse POW-phase is over.

I want support StakeCoin but then I espect some development plans for the future.
The wallet works great but we need some application and attention.
I can make a nice tweet for 3900 followers but now nothing to tweet.
Are there other members of this "community" willing to put effort in the future of this currency?
If so it gives the dev some motivation to create something nice.

I'm willing to put in some website development time on this coin, but I'd also like to see something motivating from the Dev and some direction.

The wallet has been working great; transactions, syncing and staking have been flawless.

Now if the Dev has some plans for this coin (similar to CINNI) then we might go somewhere.

I think he has good intentions and actually wants to make a successful coin, so I put my 30,000 CINNI as a show of additional faith in the Dev.

Foolish? Maybe... I guess we'll see.

Absolutely!

Then again, it's fairly quiet here...

Then there was silence...

yes, unfortunately Sad
5 posts is not bad.
I have a question; I have only 3 active connections and using the nodes in a conf file.
Are there people with more connections?
if yes can you post here your getpeerinfo like this:

Then we can update the nodeinfo in the OP

Make sure you open port 16814 to your StakeCoin node and you will get more connections. If more people start doing this, it will help the network.

Hey guys,

After tonight's payout cinnipool is going to be closing.

This has nothing to do with the coin or the community both of which have a ton of potentiel.

I am unable to properly dedicate enough of my time to the pool.  I also have a pressing need to sell my cinni (I actually have sold most of it already, I am sorry if I hurt the coin price recently) to free up some fiat money for some emergenc expenses.

I will make sure that every miner is paid out for every single share is accepted by the stratum until the stratum no longer accepts connections.

I think that you all are part of an amazing coin and community.  If I didn't have such pressing needs IRL for money I would love to have remained on the rocket ship.  I wish each of you the best in your crypto travels.

Thanks for your work and the good pool. Good luck with what you have going!

Guys where is the Rich List, this is needed as investors look for good and healthy distribution too, i bet that is stopping some investors as they can see the manipulation, if i knew how to make one i would, but im not a dev, why you removed the rich list we already had?

I have a script that parses out the rich list. I've been meaning to make the list public, but I've just had so little time lately.

I'll work on this today and get the list pushed to a public facing site.

It's been annoying as hell, though I'm not convinced that these trolls posts move the market too much. Do they? I'm sure SxC can get a few sells in to him, but I don't think he's swinging the market this much. There are other questionable players.
I don't know how much they move the market. Obviously it doesn't hurt to the extent that large sell walls do, but trolls are certainly opportunistic in that they observe walls and then comment here to their advantage, even if they themselves didn't place the walls.
Yeah that sounds like exactly what they do.
I don't get the sell walls either honestly. It seems like a large opportunity cost putting up a wall like that in the middle of a pump. The motivation is still unclear, just like they want it.

I respect your opinion and have long been a proponent of free speech, but I think I've finally found an example of necessary moderation. Once the mkt cap is higher, perhaps no moderation. But for now, it's too malleable.

Thanks for saying. I agree about the manipulation on Cinni, it's been present since this coin got on Mintpal. It's been annoying as hell, though I'm not convinced that these trolls posts move the market too much. Do they? Christ, this thread is painful to read. Greed really brings out the worst in people. I guess morals go out the window for some people when they can act anonymously. Do they not feel at all guilty for spreading fear & lies, poisoning the hard work of genuine technological innovators? Just for a few fucking bucks? FUD spreaders are scum, a parasite on the community. I would say they should be ashamed, but I think they are mostly sociopaths and incapable of it. Even so, if you're unable to turn a profit in this game without taking a giant shit on everything and everyone, then you should do the honorable thing and take yourself out of the game. Or try actually creating something and giving back to the world.

I feel sorry for the Cinni devs & community, having to put up with these people.

This sums it up.

I think the devs have done a decent job of ignoring it. There's no winning with trolls and sociopaths. Got one guy screaming for moderation and the moment Devs turn it on, the same human garbage will claim their self-deleted posts are being deleted by dev.

Best to just ignore the frequent trolls like SxC, even when they're saying good things.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | - HARD FORK MANDATORY UPDATE - | POW in 2 days on: June 08, 2014, 09:51:34 PM
Any publicity is good publicity if the coin checks out, and it checks out with me. Let the trolls talk they are actually helping with publicity and they don't even know it.

The premine. Drk had a huge premine/instamine. Did it stop investors from buying? (I pass judgement with my wallet and Im looking to continue buying).

I hope ppl are right about the 2nd pow having a price drop. I sold and im regretting it, I have a problem with selling too soon.

Get your facts straight - DarkCoin had zero premine.  It was also only CPU mineable at launch so that instamine you are talking about would have been distributed among many miners.

Fact is premines don't bode well for a coin long-term.  Check out the successful coins on MintPal and see which ones have premines.  I'm not bashing SilkCoin here, it looks like a decent coin, but premines do turn off many investors.
Your correct, DRK had Zero premine but 50% INSTAMINE, which was intended by the developers, only linux machines could mine without the windows QT wallet, since the coin is anonymous, how is there any way to tell what addresses are held by the devs and/or their friends?

Ehh. Sounds like the same problems with many coins release, it's not necessarily a dev scam. The windows wallet is harder to build. The linux wallet (on Ubuntu) should be a 5-minute process. I imagine most serious miners know this and build on linux and mine against that daemon. I'm not even serious and I do.

I'm not holding any DRK nor do I care. Just stating some facts here.

Yes quite true, but i sold my DRK while the going was good, i still dont trust the Dev team and i feel that its just a big bubble anyway.

I honestly didn't like it at 900k, regardless of it's rise. I have however always liked Silkcoin. Cheesy I'm glad I doubled up under 2k.

v1.0.9 Windows wallet crashing trying to load wallet.dat. Even if deleted, still crashes. Anyone?
Right click and Run as Administrator. If it still crashes let us know.

This must have been my mistake. I re-downloaded and extracted in to a clean directory and no problem.

Thanks for the quick reply!
