1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Megaminer 5.0b - Multi pool / Multi Algo launcher on: December 11, 2017, 07:05:56 PM
I'm using 4.8 but I'm unable to use version 5.x on both my NVIDIA rigs or AMD rig.
It tells me
No miners!
What am I doing wrong in the config file?

Also, I'm using start.bat with MPH pool only and automatic coin and when I come back later my AMD rig is not mining anymore and is stuck in a loop trying to connect on NICEHASH pool but fails. Why is that happening? Can I delete nicehash.ps1 and it will resolve this?

I got this too. Script is unable to download miners. I downloaded manually using urls from logs. Maybe some firewall, or antivirus issue. On other pc on the same switch it downloaded ok.

On 4.8 the miners downloaded just fine.. I even tried to copy those but same message

Is there a way that the fan doesn't go up to 100% everytime the pool glitch a little? or when started? it's annoying

Realize one thing. The demand is the reason for such huge production. Yea, they are surely making miners for themself but I'm pretty sure OUR DEMAND takes the major part.
And here we are again. It's mainly because of us.
Solution it's simple. Stop creating the demand and they will surely reduce the production
I clearly remember how people were cursing Bitmain in August and September on twitter (where BM announced coming sales) for not issuing MORE D3 miners , because miners then were sold out during 30 minutes  Grin

No!! People on twitter did NOT want them to release more batches for their roi.

At this rate we'll not ROI the import charges alone  Grin
Question about the APW++ Do I need to connect it to 220v to have enough power for the D3?

What batch your D3's are from ? Did you get a 15 , 17 or 19 GH/s miner ?
As reported by a few members here on the forum , the 15GH/s version pull under 1000watts , so youshould be ok on 110-120volt.
I think the 17GH/s version should be ok also, those miner are pulling less than 1200watts , the apw3++ rated to 1200 watts on 110volts.
Im not sure about the 19GH/s version ,i have a few those , the power consumption is around 1150-1260 watts  for each , so i would not suggest to use it with apw3++ on 110-120 volts.

I didn't receive it yet. I have the coming batch so I don't know what GH/s it will be and I don't know what will be my import charge.
The specs of the apw++ say it cannot output more than 1200 watt on 120v. Is it just because off the wall outlet max safe rating or psu itself?
If I downclock it to 17GH/s for more stability will it take  same power than the version at 17GH/s?

OP said overclock is not necessarily good on hash rate. I can confirm this on my DR2. I get a much better hashrate on nicehash (450 as advertised) at the default 400Mhz value. At 450Mhz frequency, I get 100Mh/s less and not much better with values over 400.

It's quite loud

Seen 76db on a site
Stand out above the whole server room. Not kidding

Hi!
I got a DR2. Everything looks fine in the GUI in the miner dashboard. I get like 475H/s. 0% fail rate and almost no rejects. However, on nicehash web site, I only see X11 speed (accepted) of 315mh/s in average. Is it normal? Is it a bad stratum server for this miner?
the ping is 95ms
xnsub is enabled
didn't try to set diff in pw field. It shows 0.4  sometimes more or less.

Any advice?
