I'm not taking sides but I'm just saying that most exchanges perform a risk investigation when a customer has a very high trade volume. On the other hand that information should be sent to the customer in a professional manner, not sure what the TOS of bitpanda is, there should also be a valid reason for the account termination that the customer should be noticed of.
I already sent this to my lawyer in Austria and this will investigated, whether they had rights to delay and act the way they did.

I have never bought bitcoin through their site, but sold some for Amazon gift codes. Everything went flawlessly, but the time it took to deliver the code is very delayed. I sometimes takes them an hour to send me the code although I am paying directly from the bitpanda balance. But I think they are one of the most trusted, if not the most trusted exchange located in Austria.

But the termination of accounts to stop complaints and not apologizing although it's clearly their fault isn't something that is appreciated, there is definitely a need for change.

Not to add oil into the fire, but there are things we can't disclose publically (because we value user privacy) that lead to the closure of the account. Complaining in public will not get your account banned.
After many days (almost a week) and after a public complaint - you sent bitcoins to the account. So this means you are misleading people and you are not offering transactions within 10 seconds and are closing accounts for no reason immediately after customer complains. From my side everything clean and clear - payment was done, verification was fully completed, so nothing wrong. And you clearly know this.

Note: Bitpanda never apologized for any of their "technical" or other mistakes. They did at least 6-7 mistakes with me - not even once said a "sorry".

This actually contradicts your own statement. In no way are they scamming you if you still receive your Bitcoin.

Fact is: they have my money, paid by most safe way of payment for them (Sofort-Transfer), but they are not paying bitcoins. 3000 euros are currently lost due to their scam. Promised to pay me on Monday or Tuesday - will see.

Worst thing is not that they put hold, not paying money or anything. Worst is their crazy service, no responses, very ugly and impolite service. Such a customer non-oriented service will die sooner or later.

Based on the whole situation I see, I have made a clear opinion on Bitpanda:

At very least - they are unprofessional and stupid. In the worst case - they are scammers. And probably they are scammers I'm afraid...

Now appeared another weared support person (called herself Nina). Came back with an unprofessional, angry and again full of bullshit:
"we have read everything. You will not change anything by furiously writing posts or tickets. The case is absolutely clear to us and there is no space for negotiations. You will receive the Bitcoins as soon your money arrives on Monday or Tuesday. All payment method will be blocked, so you can only withdraw your Bitcoins. Afterwards your account will be permanently closed. If you feel the urge to contact a lawyer and sue us or whatever comes to your mind, please go ahead. The decision by our risk team has been made and we can and will not accept you as our customer. You are not allowed to open an account on BitPanda. Please find a different service that allows your business.

This is the absolute last statement you will receive form us. You will be informed via email as soon the we have received your money, so you can withdraw your Bitcoins."

I'm not negotiating anything with this bad company and never intended to. Everybody can make their opinion if they want to work with somebody who makes 6-7 mistakes in 10 promises and who is ignoring customer until very late moment (when customer goes public). From me this is a clear: AVOID FOREVER.

P.S. No money refunded, neither no bitcoins provided. Account blocked, service suspended and account will be closed "due to going public".

This is a true feedback and review of Bitpanda services. You make your decision.

To start as clear as it is: I was not negotiating anything with those scammers. I was only telling them that "Instead of sending an email like any normal company would do "please apologize - we will put transaction on hold until we receive your payment", you prefer to ignore me in your tickets and to provide absolutely ridiculous responses to my questions both on public and in tickets...".

AVOID at all costs. Case is clear for me: they don't have money or trying to scam.

Update: AVOID Bitpanda if you don't need a headache. Bitpanda scam or will scam. Highly probably.

I'm forced to go public to protect other users from possible scammers.

There are huge problems with both payment processing and communication!

I'm a fully verified user! I have done transactions for many thousands euros and paid in fees probably $400-500 already.

And every second transaction with them gets it's problems...
Either it's processing for hours (even it has status "We received your Payment and are sending your order right now") or something else happening suddenly.

I have bought on 02.03 bitcoins for 3000 EUR (in 2 transactions - 1000 and 2000). They advertising that this service takes 10 seconds ("Processing Time: 10 Seconds").

I'm still sitting without bitcoins and what's even worth - without any answer from their lowest ever level of customer support!!!

They never apologize for mistakes, they never say what's the reason for problems and what has happened...

I really recommend to avoid Bitpanda. If they not gonna end as a scam very soon - I'll be surprised.

Real shame! I was hoping that Bitpanda will be a great service... to buy and sell bitcoins... but payments from them took over a week (SEPA which normally is same or next day)... and even purchase of bitcoins "within 10 seconds" in reality is "many days"...

"as you have violated your terms we will terminate your account. When your money arrives on Monday you can withdraw your BTC."

And nothing else! Can you imagine this? I have violated my terms, so my account will be terminated. And for bitcoins bought with a "10 seconds service" I have to wait at least 5 days to get my coins. And that's totally normal they believe.

therefore require longer processing times, Coinimal's offered services are available to the
contractual partner without interruption and around the clock. The processing is performed in
a fully-automated manner. However, Coinimal may not transfer Bitcoin & Co until the payment
has been received if the customer uses certain (risky) payment methods.

This wasn't a SEPA transfer - this was a secure Sofort transfer, where Sofort guarantees safety of the transaction.
Sofort is in a no way risky payment method as known by everyone.

LIES! And a link to a ToC point which has nothing to do with the case of delay of paying me. You already got the payment through Sofort, I'm sure.

I have contacted the support 9 times over last 3 days. I have receive 1 short answer, which says nothing, 2 hours after going public. Everything else was ignorred by you, scammers.

PS: Just for other people reading this, BitPanda has never scammed a customer for a single cent.
Payment through Sofort is a risky payment method? Are you joking here again?

Also, in the meantime got your email:

What have I violated? You are a real joke. "We will terminate your account", but "you can withdraw your BTC". So terminate or withdraw?

P.S. Or are they saying that I have violed MY terms (your terms)?! Could I have violated my terms? Maybe Cheesy But not their...

We do not discuss customer details, or orders in public. I am pretty sure you realize that this would not be very professional. However, you are absolutely right, we are the fastest platform, but your orders are not processed yet, because we are investigating your account. For everyone else the service works instantly as usually.
Please be patient and wait for the response form the risk team. You will not speed up the process by creating an account here and protest.  Wink

Investigating what? Payments were succesfully processed through Sofort system, money have reached your account in Austria latest on Friday morning, both payments have status "We received your Payment and are sending your order right now." and I was not contacted by anyone from your "risk team". There are no answers to any email or ticket either.

I suggest people not to buy or sell anything through Bitpanda at least until this issue is resolved.
They are most probably scam and when you start complaining - they start to get even more "formal" and "not speeding up anything".
Very unprofessional approach to the service.

I'm going to initiate a process against Coinimal GmbH on Monday, will send all details to my lawyers in Wien - BLS Rechtsanwälte.

Under Terms & Conditions https://www.bitpanda.com/legal-and-privacy published on bitpanda.com website - it's not allowed to block my money, especially without explaining anything and just ignoring me until I go to the public.
