1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage with bitcoins on: March 21, 2017, 10:42:22 PM
I've looked for arbitrages manually, and used to do quite a bit of arbitrage betting. It isn't that hard to find considering there aren't any public bitcoin sportsbook scrapers out there, so it can be quite profitable. I have done probably near 20 BTC volume from arbitrage betting, and netted over 0.3BTC. It can be very profitable, but a mistake could cost you. I lost around 0.1BTC from my first arb because cloudbet showed a market, and the limit, but it wouldn't accept any bets on it.

What tools you use if its no secret? or you just look for directly on bookies? if this true i dont understand how do this without spend a lot of times

Hi,
Such a question i have some bitcoins and sometimes i use strategy arbitrage betting https://betting.betfair.com/what-is-arbing-arb-betting-explained.html or https://napalmbet.com/arbitrage-betting.html. Actually more for fun, than for money, because i'm afraid to invest large sums.
And I think maybe there are bookmakers that use bitcoins, and whether there are arbitrage opportunity between them, did anyone meet with such?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 19, 2017, 05:52:32 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Well, that would be hard . Because most of us rely on using bitcoin. I mean most of us is working using bitcoin . If government or your own country, this will be bad. Think about the posibilities about this one. Bitcoin Society will be down. Bitcoin users will stop and look for another job to do. Because bitcoin is now on our society.

Honestly, I don't believe in such scenario.
World today is very divided and in conflict.
Do you really think that EU and Trump can agree about anything?
Or Putin and EU?
Iran and America?
I don't think so.
They all have very different political and economical interests in the world and I don't believe in unique decision about bitcoin.
Some countries may try to ban bitcoin but I don't believe it's realistic and possible.
They can't close Internet or control each citizen on Internet, no way.
I'm more worried about possible tax for bitcoin income.

i myself do not think that bitcoin is going to be banne, bitcoin will continue as digital currency and hope that the government willl also consider it as legal currency.

I am also confident that bitcoin can not be banned. This is technologically impossible. But you can prohibit or impose large taxes converting bitcoin into a fiat currency

I think if goverment can control all transaction - bitcoin will be alive, another no chance

Толку то от этого?

У Жирика острое чутье. Раз уже даже он начал лаять на едропутов, значит перемены не за горами  Smiley

Смех смехом но если посмотреть на его старые выступления и то что он говорит (причем на тот момент это кажется бредом), то очень часто все сбывается
