2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 03, 2020, 11:10:48 PM
It is not safe and it was being advised not to store funds in an exchange. There is a high risk of losing your money if you store your money on exchange. It is better to store your money in your private wallet to at least avoid losing it. There are some situation before like hacking in an exchange, and this is what we can avoid if we do not store our funds in an exchange.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 03, 2020, 10:32:13 PM
Hey guys,

As we all know, the Bitcoin is experiencing a decent price increase and it is slowly but steadily rising every day. Has it affected your gameplay somehow?
Some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.

How about you?

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
Yes but not in terms of having difficulty in playing or getting a profit,
But it affects most when I do transfer bitcoin to the gambling site. Fees are higher than usual and if I have used a lower fee, it seems like it will take forever to confirm. So I have no choice but to use high transaction fee compared to previous months.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: November 02, 2020, 10:41:20 PM
Is it just me or what? I honestly dislike projects that have anonymous team when the project isn't a privacy Monero kinda thing, even few Privacy tokens have teams that aren't anonymous, shit I just feel like they are hidden for a purposes, some kinda easy getaway? What's your thought about this?
I also dislike those projects who hides their identity. It is risky to participate in projects like that, that is also suspicious in our end that they don't want to give the identity of the team. We should avoid this kind of project because they can easily make their way out anytime they want to.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 27, 2020, 10:06:04 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
I do agree, there are some who actually continue to hold for years. They continue to hold waiting for its price to increase. Even if it is already increased the value they keep on holding, expecting a higher profit out of their investment. Instead of taking the profit and buy again once its price starts to decrease, they just continue to hold without taking any profit.
6  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 22, 2020, 10:50:01 PM
but not all bounty managers need this method. Every project has its own rules, if Mnager Bounty doesn't need Proof of Authentication then you don't have to. It's simple, if you don't want to get a negative Trust or be perceived as spam, then you should carefully read every project rule you want to follow.
I don't think so, it is not about the bounty managers who need this method. This is only for the safety of every members to avoid bounty cheaters. Most of the time, the account of other members here are being used to apply in different bounty campaigns even without their knowledge. To avoid this, POA should be done and I think this is also important.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 21, 2020, 11:12:03 PM
No, signature campaign is just part of the marketing strategy. Signature campaign is being used to promote and increase the reach of the project, but it does not increase the credibility. It always depends on how promising the project is, over all including the idea and so on.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 20, 2020, 10:30:18 PM
Today read about a person winning from chips.gg having a bet value of $400, and a misclick getting him a winning amount of $19800 on Dice. Maybe some day I need to be such a high roller with high percentage of luck.
These kind of sheer luck happened for me in the past, in dice when i was rolling 9900x and when i was about to bust everything i ended up hitting the valuation which i never expected and in jackpot slots when i least expect i end up winning $400 to $700 and it is nothing big but these are lucky rolls which i never expected because i was trying out new games.
It actually happens especially in dice. No one expected that you will win even after you know to yourself that you will lose the game. It also happens to me before, I did not expect to win due to having a lose streak, I end up betting all my remaining funds and did not expect to win all my losses that day.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 20, 2020, 09:25:00 PM
No, as we can all see, bitcoin continue to increase its value even after that. The reason is that, the value of bitcoin is only paired to USD but it is not necessarily mean that the value of bitcoin will always depend on the value of USD itself.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 10:31:21 PM
No, there's not enough bounty campaign for bounty hunters. I don't think that bounty hunters increase even with this pandemic. People are looking for a guaranteed money where they can receive on the day that they need it. They continue to find a decent job than to participate in any bounty campaigns without any guarantee.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: October 16, 2020, 08:47:39 PM
This is the difference between good bounty managers and ordinary ones. A good one will hire a person, for a small fee, who will check all social network participants for the quality of the content and the quality of the services provided.
A good project does not need useless marketing; it needs a precise and high-quality presentation of itself through bounty hunters.
Is there really a way to check the quality of the work of the bounty hunter if their only task is to like or share in social media? I don't think that there is a need for that quality check. What they need is to limit their bounty participants to at least give them enough opportunity to receive more rewards.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 16, 2020, 02:02:03 PM
Seems like OP has a big grudge towards the project and not the Telegram as a whole. But please be cautious as it could affect the reputation of this decentralized messaging app. Telegram allow us to freely community in our own rules, perhaps, you have been banned because of spamming or maybe other users reported you for some reasons. It is not the Telegram's fault but with the people who reported you or the rules you didn't obey.

For me, telegram was the best messaging app which is really suitable in the world of cryptocurrency. It just adhere to the characteristics of crypto.
Well, whether if this is just a personal issue, we all know that telegram channel really does a lot of scammers and false information. This may be considered as trash because of that, no one filters it and no one can prevent the scammers from doing anything they want.

I don't agree, telegram was only considered as the best because no one can compete with how it is easy to communicate through it, but because of that, it becomes the place for most scammers.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 11:36:26 AM
Tagging those cheaters by ourselves will not work, negative trust given by a normal member cannot be seen by any other member but only to ourselves. The best way is to approach the bounty manager, since it is part of their job, they will sort all the names of those cheaters then they can create an accusation. Then the DT will probably tag them and everyone can determine those cheaters.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 15, 2020, 10:18:40 PM
Pandemic is good for the bitcoin market, but it does not actually affect the market. Instead, it actually helps as we can see its use than fiat in times like this. However, there's still a lot of people who do not see the value and the good use of bitcoin because of its background.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: October 15, 2020, 09:38:47 PM
I think the same happened in every country. Even in our country, the prices of goods increase their value. People are having a hard time to budget their funds since most of them currently do not have their job. Covid-19 really makes everyone and every country suffer and we will continue to experience it until the vaccine is created.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: October 15, 2020, 08:58:01 PM
I think every crypto enthusiast is scared of it,
Who wouldn't be scared when their investment and source of extra income would be illegal on their country?

If that would be illegal, you can still find a way to trade crypto as it's anonymous, you can send it from country where it's legal and let them do the job for you, actually you can always find a way if you are a crypto enthusiast. Maybe I'm just lucky that crypto is legal in our country but I'm pretty sure some other countries where cypto is illegal are still enjoy crypto in ways they can avoid getting caught.
Yes, there's a lot of ways to continue to trade even if the president of your country makes crypto illegal. Aside from sending it from another country, you can also use VPN, though it will be hard to convert it into fiat, the only positive thing is you can hold it until crypto will become legal again in your country.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2020, 11:39:57 PM
It is really so tough to teach old people about bitcoin, crypto currency and block chain technology. Many people don't know about internet and features of it let alone bitcoin. But if we discuss about bitcoin with them in daily basis, then they may able to understand it.
Yes but as long as old people are willing to learn about bitcoin, it is worth it. Cryptocurrency may seem to be impossible for them to learn because it is all about technology, but deep inside them, they want to know about technology. For me, there's a way to make them understand about bitcoin aside from discussing bitcoin with them on a daily basis, they should start using and knowing about the internet, and they will probably get more attached to it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enpugh is enough time Truth about btc on: October 14, 2020, 10:34:51 PM
Well, then provide us that evidence showing that the banks created bitcoin.
I don't know why but just simply curious about this theory on why banks would create BTC that they cannot control at all. Also, if banks created bitcoin then why banks hate it.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 13, 2020, 11:19:37 PM
I use different wallets for different purposes. I don't like multi-currency wallets because I don't like to keep all my eggs in one basket. I use Electrum for bitcoin and MetaMask for Ethereum and its tokens. I also sometimes use MEW. First of all, ease of use and security are important to me.
I think you use too many wallets and will have a very high risk when you forget to access your wallet, maybe you can use a trust wallet which in my opinion can replace all the wallets you are currently using.
Well, both of you have a point.
But I guess he prefers most if he has multiple wallets to store his coins to avoid the risk of losing it one at a time. I guess, he uses some kind of note to write the information about his wallet.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 09:51:20 PM
Truly speaking, if I see newbie as bounty manager on this forum, get a little bit of doubt and also don't get much confidence in that project. Another side to it is, it may be one of the team members from the project itself.
So the best way to check the project thoroughly, its team, whitepaper, and other aspects which may give some good feelings to go ahead.
Most of the time, it is one or part of the team members of the project. If you can see, their username is most likely the name of the project itself or related to the project. The best way is to follow what other users do, they continue to investigate a certain project and see if the project is real or not.
