I`m dumping my lisk to buy btc which is going to reach $2000 soon.

That would be 15 % raise, you have much bigger potential in rise with Lisk.

What is the inflation rate of Heat?

Is it comparable with Lisk?

You have only 2 developers in team?

Oh yeah they will defend themselves, their positions like politicians Cheesy It's a lot of money involved, I don't blame you guys, but please get real, all the things you do are not worth 7k EUR a month.
This is why I hope more 50+% pools will run over your delegate votes but it's just strange to see how long does it take for people to accept bigger percentage pools and vote for them.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 03, 2017, 09:15:27 AM

For nothing? Really?

A good delegate is securing the lisk blockchain so also your lisk Smiley.

7000 + EUR for installing the script on the VPS, really???

At least sftu about it and enjoy your free money. When people want to argue about how much they are securing the network after one simple installation it makes me sick.
Other than installation it's all about having a lot of lisk to swap so you have installation + corruption part, that's your "SECURING THE NETWORK" thing.

Any new coders that Max is negotiating for employment maybe?
Would love to see Max hiring 3rd party javascript developers to make another product/app in the same time as SDK and current jobs are being developed by the core team! Funds are there, just need to use them wisely Smiley

How to get into GDT? Is it even possible with 50k Lisk?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 27, 2017, 11:25:31 AM
iimpact,
why dont you run a 100% profit sharing delegate, if it only costs $20 ?  Wink
Can I run one too please, I got $40 to spare?

Because it's even impossible to get into top 101 because of mafia Team Elite. You can have 100% sharing and still you cannot get into top 101, it's just a broken system.
Btwn. I'm a delegate, threw away 25 lisk and more for the VPS so I can do it but it makes no sense does it?!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 27, 2017, 08:02:37 AM
I'm thinking about setting up 11 delegates that distribute ~95% to voters, the rest is for operating costs. Currently, 25 Lisk a month is more than enough to run a VPS.
Would be a great way to get some corruption out of the system.

Totally agree with you, now with the price rise of Lisk, earning 12000 lisk per month for doing nothing is a fucking joke.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 27, 2017, 07:17:02 AM
Hi everyone, I'm making the change for my delegate devasive to become a profit sharing node! I will now be sharing 25% of my forging rewards to all of my voters. Balances of my voters will begin to be distributed on or before May 15th and will be distributed twice weekly from then on.

You can view my delegate proposal here: https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=241&p=2424#p2424

Thanks for your support!

LOL you said this like it's 80%, 25% is nothing. You want 75% for what? For having 20$ server cost a month you take >2500 $ for yourself?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 26, 2017, 03:39:55 PM
what percentage? who defines the percentage? what if someone doesn't want to pay - are you going to ban him? if payouts were automatic it would basically mean lower block reward, so wouldn't it be easier to make it lower without all this blah blah?

Well if you want to get into top 101 you would obviously need to offer more pere percentage. With current system you can offer what ever you want and you still won't get into top 101 without spamming the shit out of all forums and chats. This is why dashboard from Lisk core team would be cool because you could see the list of delegates with most percentage or with most stars on their project rated by Lisk holders.
Percentage is defined by the delegate ofc.

what are cool projects? who defines what is cool?

Market, every token holder.

what do you mean with systematically? once per week? once a month? what if someone can't pay because of something?

Yeah, week, day, month it's all ok if it's written down and locked by the contract. You must pay, you have a contract so certain amount of your forged Lisk would be locked so that you can pay the shares to the voters who support you.

-we would be able to keep track of everything easily -> you mean like in North Korea?

Not really, more like in some transparent society where government gives you the permission to see everything they are working on and the funds they spend on it.
If transparent way is North Korea for you then I cannot imagine how you see the current messy way.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 26, 2017, 11:58:24 AM

Would you complain to the bitcoin miners for not doing anything for bitcoin development?
The miners throw more and more money on the hardware to increase their hash-rate, for getting more dividends.

For me delegates in LISK are similar to the miners in BTC.
The problem here is everyone is expecting the delegates to do awesome work or give a good share of their forged LISK back to the community.
Just like the BTC space, the progress doesn't have to come from the delegates, its the community which drives the progress.

If you believe in LISK, you buy, you hold and you promote, eventually the value and awareness of LISK will increase and you make good returns.
For delegates, with DPOS architecture, its inevitable that groups will be formed and if you are willing to throw lots of money at it, buy loads of LISK and join them.
Unfortunately this is the harsh reality and I don't see any solution to this delegate problem.

BTC mining is totally different system so it's not comparable. Earning 3000 EUR per months for having 10$ VPS installed to forge Lisk is a madness.
DPOS is cool because you can actually make delegates work for the LISK and this is what my proposal is all about. And yes there is a solution, I wrote it in the post you quoted and I think it would solve the problem.

I hope Max and Isabelle see it and take it as a suggestion to solve current problem that we have and make delegates efficient.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 26, 2017, 10:18:43 AM
I think DPOS is a great system, we just need to find a way to get rid of mafia teams like Team elite who give only a little piece of stake back to the community. The thing is they give something back and people will rather get few coins from them than vote for someone with cool project which takes time to deliver and it might never deliver at all.
So for the beginning I hope we can replace Team Elite with POOLS which will give us a much better return than Team Elite which promises nothing really. You can get into 101 though Team Elite just because you have a lot of coins and only thing you "owe" to the community is that little percentage that all team elite members need to give to the pool.

So Team Elite members don't really have the motivation to build something more for the Lisk with those funds because they are easily keeping their delegate spots just by being in the mafia network who back each other with a lot of votes. So currently Team Elite is only an inflation for the Lisk project with few individuals that actually use Lisk for something else except building a fortune on it. This is our current problem that needs to be solved.

SOLUTION

All other delegates should offer more percentage than Team Elite back to the voters and cool projects but they should do it systematically like Team Elite so that the voters are sure to get their Lisk without any mambo jumbo, and to get this I propose that Lisk team builds a delegate dashboard with timeframes, numbers and projects proposals.
With the dashboard a delegate would setup the % of shares that he is returning to the voters and the timeframe in which percentage will be LOCKED. Payouts to the voters would be automatic. Also it would be easy and transparent to see project proposals and updates and history. This way we would be able to keep track of everything easily rather then using a forum which is a mess when it comes to tracking.
With this system you can easily knock out someone from voting if you see he's not doing what he initially proposed and took money for.

Recommendation for those who have LISK on exchanges:

If you are not actively trading with your LISK make sure to keep your coins safe by withdrawing to a wallet where you hold your private keys!

Keep your coins and investment as a whole safe. Exchanges are prone to being hacked and the more LISK we leave with exchanges the more hazardous an outcome if these coins were to be stolen.

Such an incident would be devastating for the long term success of the LISK project.

Second that, I hold all my Lisk on wallet.

Great rise for the Lisk today, great volume, hope it continues until it reaches ETH price Cheesy
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 25, 2017, 11:17:33 AM
I really like the Lisk project but this "101 nodes forging" system has become one big corrupt fuck-up.

I will never vote again, ever.

Yeah well, currently it's like this. Once SDK is done we will start voting for some real projects, I would say time is needed for evolution.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 25, 2017, 10:58:18 AM
You can vote for LiskElite (www.liskelite.com) and you will be rewarded for your vote which will be about 150 LSK weekly.

Thanks, I voted for them as well even so their rewards are really low, would love to see more pools pushing them out of 101 list.
