Hi guys

Please help to me for sitting my 2 rig

-wd 1 -r 1 -epool eu2.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x98364f098e2cd698e93c84bc25c4e37425dee027.salam1 -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333

But not working

My first rig 3 rx470
My Two rig 3 rx470

Why in https://ethermine.org/miners/98364f098e2cd698e93c84bc25c4e37425dee027
Just 1 rig worked??

Name my rig in samplemining is sal1 and sal2

change

HELL YEAH.

I try since days to get the 1 to 3 Splitter getting working. If i unplug all and just the splitter with 1 cardc is inside, ,im stucking in a Boot-Loop and it kills his selfe with Kernel Panic.

Doenst matter if RX or R version.

could you give me some hints / Tips?

Board: GA-990FXA UD5 rev. 3

need to see bios for mb.
dont have R version - cant try.
maybe try gen1,gen2?
try insert splitter in second x16.
send photos pls.

i have 2 splitter with problems(2 ports of 3 work). change splitter.

sorry for bad english.

Thanks for the Hint.

on This Board i havent the possibility about gen1 and gen2.

have tested it also on a BIOSTAR TB85... Have 2 Splitters. i just got it to work 1 Time on the UD5 to detect 6 Cards. Stucked in OC, after that no more chance to get it up Cheesy Also tryed all different Ports bla bla bla..... Funny thing is, i get different Errors Cheesy

but i think the GA-990FXA is simply to old now for this fancy new things Cheesy

I will ry it also on the Asrock Z97... perhaps it will work here.

But i will not fight till fix Cheesy already have ordered 2 of the Z270 ^^ including 18 x RX 470 Cheesy

Could someone please help me?

I'm trying to boot with SimpleMining OS, but it's not working. It stops with the following messages:

Could someone please explain what am I doing wrong? I've flashed the OS to a 16GB USB stick according to manual and inserted it into the rig.

I assume that the problem is not in the rig itself, since it is working finely with windows 10. I'm disconnecting the HDD on which the windows is installed, then putting in the USB drive and then booting. But no luck.

Hey,

look @ your BIOS.

UEFI settings have to be changed to "LEGACY Only", Also AHCI and EHCI have to be enabled, and if you have the setting in your BIOS the IMMOU Emulator.

this fixed tthe issue on my side.

Since a view days 1 rack with rx 470 is making troubles.

Hangs in OpenCL Fall (always same GPU) after reboot it stuck offen in Boot cause a network-job is waiting. After 5:30 minute counter it boots up, but it cant Connecticut to the pool and is still offline in dashboard.

After fixingit with hardshutdown, wait 5 Minuten and changing lanport it boots AS usual.

But now there are New lines i never habe Seen. See picture below

Why Stop @ 7 GPU mining Rig.

I am building a 18 GPU Mining Rig with the following bad boy:

http://www.ieci.com.au/information/article1.asp?Article_ID=717

 Grin Grin

you already know this article? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64450.0

600 USD from his source, or near double - so 1200 USD directly by trentonsystems..... i think the starting invest just for a board is to high. for 100 USD each i get a 5 - 6 GPU supporting Board. so with 500 - 600 USD i will get 25 - 36 GPUS.

Just CPU and RAM you will save a little.

I have Ordered 4 of these: https://mineshop.eu/cables/pcie-adapter-1-to-3-slots-detail

still waiting for testing if they are supported by SMOS. I have already made my Rigs with a 1700 - 2000 Watt PSU system. so it would be great if these extenders would work. Unser Windows they are already running. but still dont know about linux support.

I have 7 x R9-Nano rig working with smOS and SRR perfectly, with this PCI splitter.
The Nanos are can mine ZEC up to 420-440 sols/s per card with Optiminer v1.7
The rig is powered by EVGA-G2-1600w PSU and current draw about 1150watts with 1000/500/-20% power-limit.
Previously the Nanos are with -100mV undervolted custom rom mainly for ETH mining but the Nanos are best for ZEC due to HBM and 64 compute cores so I flashed it back to stock rom and -20% PL to manage the amps and the 7xGPU config with lower but stable sols/s.
BTW, using this PCI splitter, only 7 GPU ok, 8 GPUs not OK or I dont know how to make it work.
I have asked around but 7 x GPU is easy with Linux.
Anything beyond that need some special hacks and special drivers; and goes into the realm of deep learning systems.
This 16 x GPU rig monster is an exciting project but probably not practical because it's too expensive.
Imagine the monster power supply to handle this rig, and keeping it stable.
The risks of having too big of a rig is huge power consumption and a big drop in hash when it's offline for any reasons.

51MEGATRON is the 7 x R9-Nano rig currently mining ZEC, stable at 370-390 sols/s per card.
"51" is the SRR locator. SRR#5, slot#1
Pix below is the "R" rigs list. There is another list for "RX" cards separated by using a different email.

Thanks man for sharing your experience in Detail. Helps alot for thoughts. Still have to wait for arriving.

In Summery we have to time 6x R9 290x & 10 RX 470 (Brand mixed for study. To time running in 3 boards. Want to decrease the need oft boards.

Wie are expecting the New awesome dashboard. Hope it gets released soon.

Yes very familiar with that Topic on trenton system.

BTW whats the theoretical limit on how many Gpu can you support for mining with the 1 to 3 pcie adapter i wonder if that would or could work.

Let me now your experience in details.

Guntis (owner of mineshop) told me he is running 9 cards per board under windows.

Linux support is unknown Form his side.

I habe 2 Gigabyte fx990 ud5 rev. 3. Just can run 5 cards, Windows and linux. Want per board 7 or 9 cards. Besteht case would be every port witha Splitter. So theoretical 15  cards.

Somehow I can't get my miner to mine on Alpereum pool

Anyone knows how to join this, my miner just crash everytime it tries to join this pool.

Dwarfpool works fine.

Thanks.

give me a link to the pool I will try to figure out the issue

can't get it to work so far

i dont know the pool now, but one hint i have:

set on Pool Worker same as Rig-Names on SMOS.

Still doesn't work lol.

What miningsoftware are you using?

TRY:

Claymore-ETH 8.1 Custom

Code:

I am having an issue where my rig is mining but it isn't being displayed in my simplemining.net/dashboard. I have saved my email address to the config.txt.

I have noticed that in Ubuntu it says when starting,

YOUR EMAIL:
####################

and nothing updates when I change options on my dashboard

Check Again the Config.txt on your flashed drive! it just can be a TYPO, or your router is blocking, but if you still connected to a pool..... the router isnt responsible for issue.

it should look like this:

Code:
## YOU NEED TO ENTER YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS !!!
## It will be used for rig authentication and managment
USER_EMAIL=admin@simplemining.net

keep care there is no space.

Welcome Community and SMOS enthusiasts.

1. GENIUS WORK!

2. Future-Dashboard
it looks Very nice indeed!!!!!!

is it imagined from you, that you can controll every single rack? so i have in my Dashboard rig001 rig002 rig002

rig001 = claymore zcash = wallet 1

rig002= silenarmy = wallet 2

rig003 = claymore zcash = wallet 2

with detailed stats? Cause this is what i would need.

I manage some Rigs of a Group of 5 People. So its hard tioll now with SMOS to do so, cause i must use 1 Miner and 1 Wallet... just can do different workes, but cant get the stats out how much work each rack have maded.

3. Back to Topic:

Update runs Fucking stable.

i Use XFX 470 4GB Black Edition.

After BIOS-Mod under Windows, and OC in SMOS, i reach 28.8 MH/S each card. havent looked till now on energy consuption, cause i havent to mind it Cheesy

EDIT: started a new Rig with 3x HIS RX 470 OC and 1 x XFX RX470 Black Edition. Have to use different coreclock. HIS rx470 run stable at 28,4 MH/s

btw. All cards are Elpida Bios
