1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 04:18:28 PM
You all saw this massive pump! From 5k to 25k in 1 day, this shows how much potential this project has. I will hold my coins for a couple of months!

POTY is the best project nearest.

definitely. PTOY is solving real problems and devs know well what they are doing.

which real problem is PTOY solving? literally 0 hospitals adopted this pile of shit. and what about the dev team? PTOY's CEO has a degree in african studies. would you ask a person whose degree is in african studies to be your surgeon for an heart valve replacement? I guess nope. would you trust your cryptos in a "CEO" whose degree is african studies? anyone in his right mind would say nope, but apparently there are lot of retards out there.

now tell me, how are they gonna use their artificial intelligence\machine learning mumbo-jumbo to help doctors make diagnosis (as the "CEO" suggested in the AMA) on encrypted data? guess what, you can't. this is just one of the many contradictions of this shitty scamcoin

after spamming your fud into sonm project, you also spam fud into this project ? seriously.. get a life and friend or go into fucking mental home. You are so pathetic!

ladies, ladies, calm down... this is actually a really good use case for blockchains. immutable private medical data. This is solving a huge huge problem in the medical industry.

Quick update:

We have decided to move the development of Cannindex on to a new chain with more flexibility and resources. We have reason to believe that d9 has been dumping his premine on our efforts, instead of establishing communications and allowing us to progress cannabiscoin.

We are abandoning cannabiscoin for a better technology. Without access to the github, we wont beable to upgrade CANN, and therefor would be limited to the functionality we intended for our project.

It was a novel idea to build a product on cannabiscoin, but for all intents and purposes we must move on to a more tangible platform.

Thanks for your support, we will have another update soon with more information about how we are moving forward.

What is this newbie account with 2 posts saying the exact same thing?

Can the real devs clarify.

We will have more information to help clarify the process. For those interested in verifying their cann holdings from before today, we will be working on options for stake in cannindex.

Nice that you replied, and I appreciate your efforts. I have to say again.... without a dispensary that will "host" a donated sum of weed at a price that cann be negotiated, and without d9 giving away or burning the premine, this is going nowhere. Actually nowhere is a little ruff, I will say keep it up , or start a new coin with everything d9 had in mind and show him it could have worked. If you do that you will go down in history instead of d9

i think a commodity pegged crypto is doomed to fail, but i could see it operating nicely as a rewards currency. We have our own proof of concept we're working on, and may launch our own chain if this current development proves to be too difficult. As far as the premine goes, we have the block explorer up to verify those instances; there's also the notion that a lot of coins were held hostage from cryptsy. Lots of variables for sure, we're hoping to iron them out and establish the best course of action..

nothing to see here, where are those updates that were supposed to be happening?

right here buddy:

Introduce the CannabisCoin Cooperative (done)
Restore reliable hashing power to the blockchain (done)
Grow the number of nodes geographically (done)
Update Block Explorer (done)

Youre more than welcome to join the community and make things happen faster if youre not satisfied with our efforts so far..

Hmhmhmh time to buy up all the cheap cann because of bittrex delist?

Now thats an idea, will the old cann coins still have a worth in this take over?

This isnt a takeover, more of a revitalization effort. The product i am developing - cannindex - seeks to add utility to cannabiscoin for the cannabis industry, which should add an intrinsic worth, or value. There's also the value of scarcity, as the coin is capped at ~100 million; and the use of cannabiscoin as a currency or rewards token has a value aswell. Will it be worth it? Were going to do our best to make it so..

Super hot! We are really taking off! Plus, the official twitter is up and tweeting again!

Exciting times indeed!

have you been in contact with the cann team?
There have been no conversation exchanges between "Blackhatcrypto" and anyone on the CANN team.  If you'd like, you may send a PM on this forum.
@blackhatcrypto
I'm trying to understand what is your role in this project?, is this take over or what? As i can see you already have your own project right?
@YESWECANN
Is this still active project, what happened wirh Delta9? Price falling small update would be nice. Thanks!

My role functions as a community organizer; and my project is a development that intends to utilize cannabiscoin.

I wouldnt call it a takeover, persay, this is a revitalization effort - as this is open source software, anyone can participate..

We have setup nodes geographically, increased the hashpower, and have had a blockexplorer rebuilt. So as far as anyone is concerned, this blockchain is back from the dead and ready for whatever initiatives anyone wants to bring to the table.

We have a working blockexplorer now! here's the link: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/

A shoutout and big thank you to SGTxSTAYxGRIND and Tirapon, and the rest of the cannabis co-op community for their hard work!

I also added/edited some minor details on the roadmap..

Thanks again everybody, stay tuned for more things to come!!

Hash power is up, and we have more nodes established geographically around the world. If you would like to add CANN to your pool, let us know and ill list it on the main announcement.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CANN] Cannabiscoin Cooperative: Community Revitalization & Blockchain Rehab on: May 01, 2017, 05:03:57 PM
Somebody suggested earlier that we reach out to the vericoin dev, there might be something to that..  Cool

im not gonna shill, but its one of the few pretty fair PoS systems Smiley

Also, here in Canada we are legalizing weed for adults like tobacco, ill be able to LEGALLY grow up to 8 plants in my home for personal use Cheesy

NOW is the time for CANN, and if goes PoS i have a nice space for it in my portfolio for sure! Smiley

New piece of information, spinning out further. 8 plants is a harsh limit and "personal use only", so not intended to place them for sale on the internets. Hmm!
Predictions: Some people will be bad in counting numbers, stopping by 10 or 12. Friends and relatives who are not that much into tobacco will get persuaded to develop a green thumb for a small homegrowing endeavor. Production naturally tends to centralize at the places with the most experience. This law effectively encourages decentralized production.
Where such stuff of some value gets produced, there usually a trade & exchange economy follows up. Which needs a method of communication and a transport of value. Oh, and postal services of course.

CANN needs a link onto OpenBasar or similars.

8 plants can produce alot if you can make some 8-10 pounders. I dont know if you can do that in Canada, not sure how early of a start you can get the clones going giving how long winter is that far north; assuming so, 50-100 pounds is a heck of a 'personal use only' - then again you have people in California capped at 99+ plants but they seem to be bad at counting numbers as well, as they have +1000 plants somewhere in the national forests.

We have discussed a distribution platform, but right now were currently working on getting the blockchain in a stable state (more nodes, hashing power, possible update the codebase, and adding a third party layer - cannindex). Hopefully once we get more momentum and the price starts rising we will have more resources to work out such novel ideas.  Cool

Edit* i just spelled Canada, Cannada - haha woops, Yes We Cannada!!

since its x11 maybe something similar to pivx

i do hope we can avoid centralized masternodes, every wallet needs to have equal access imo. however it is possible to incentivise fast hardware and frequent/continuous stakers

I agree, maybe we can look into something like tindermints delegated pos..

Stupid folks, the people that care did not even get a happy 420 from delta fucking 9. I hope d fucking 9 rots in hell with his mansion and his hummvees whatever. BUT IF A TAKEOVER IS IN THE WORKS IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT HIS PREMINE CACHE BEING BURNED:

we are independently verifying the status on the premine burn.

So did this coin get taken over or was that just someone trying to get a little 420 hype going?

its in the works:

Regarding the node count, a rather technical point, just there turning POS would make sense. For attracting POW hashrate one needs more solid economy baselines and the coin supply got mined almost completely. Price low, too.

Agreed. I think POS makes more sense.

Of course would be adding some tiny amount of inflation, people WILL use that against you on price prediction discussions. When beeing all fresh&young (know, tiiiime ago) I was wondering about bitcoin inflation where nobody talked about. Like 9.19% of total supply incoming fresh, and each year.
Below 2% yearly inflation people would not start to argue, most national economies are heading for a similar inflation goal.

yea +1 for going PoS and low annual rate. but what flavor? PoSP? Blackcoin? need to get those nodes staking ...

since its x11 maybe something similar to pivx
