Luke? Luke states to this very day that 0.5Mb is enough. LOL
He has his reasons. Yeah, he wants to hurt the entire bitcoin ecosystem because he is a narcissistic prick. That's not a fucking good reason. That or he is just an uninformed retard, doesn't really make a difference. I fully disagree. Luke-jr is a honest small blocker and has been consistent with his view for a long time. Anyhow: 1) He has had very decent contributions to the code. 2) He has written that HF proposal that increases the block size eventually. So you agree that 0.5 mb blocks are enough? That's your position?
No reasonable amount, which would not fully centralized Bitcoin, is enough. Increasing the block size != improving scalability. Segwit -> Schnorr + signature aggregation are a very nice step. For those that do not know, and I'm sure ImI is part of those, the latter requires 1 signature for inputs from the same address. This means that TXs pulling out a lot of inputs from the same one would be very small in size in comparison to today. The bonus side effect of this improvement is not only capacity, but also the incentive to consolidate UTXO. Block size increases make sense, to a certain degree. However, kicking the can that way does nothing but set precedence for "weak/lazy scaling" and centralization. Let's have actual improvements, like those mentions and Weak blocks, before we do this?
Bottom reached? luke-jr is cool bcause he will actually take time to help you and talk to you like a human being!!

As for the gained knowledge and experience so far, I wouldn't bet too much on EMC2 right now, here are the facts and observations which have caused PM-Tech recently to quit support and is also referring to the coin as high-risk to it's customers: - The project is claiming to target the funding of scientific projects. To do so, they are claiming 2.5% of the total coin supply, those funds are kept by a natural person rather than an escrow
- According to the project description, 0.5% are reserved for daily costs, but 90% have been spent so far without public knowledge of the whereabouts
- The actual node code is not matching the propagated specifications in terms of block halving and total coin supply
- Any development, if there is any, is done in a hidden manner. Open Source Repositories do not show any public development branches.
- Bug fixing, if there is any, (and as we know the current nodes contain some issues) is done privately as well
- Some drafts of websites presented to community channels so far did only contain a few headlines, no detailed information nor any functionality
- A cluster of test net servers including nodes provided by PM-Tech and dedicated to project development hasn't been used once
- Any other development or testing infrastructure is not known to PM-Tech nor to the public
- There are for sure some very talented volunteers to the project, but still there is no infrastructure (as mentioned by CWI crysx himself, currently they are not holding any SCRYPT mining power on their own)
Those and even more points shouldn't break off another fight but have been observed by us and also reflected as concerns by a large portion of the community. Re-gaining people's trust is going to be a lot of work and will not happen from one day to another. But as it is my job, I will continue watching. So long, Mike Hi Mike, I don't want to start discussion with you as there is no point but as I said to you and to your "counterpart" developer with whom you had issue, your private fights shouldn't take place here. And this statement of yours as a result of your fight is not proper at all. As it is a result of your fight with him. Also I found very interested statement " - Some drafts of websites presented to community channels so far did only contain a few headlines, no detailed information nor any functionality
". I found my self and my company's project here. If you were referring to demo website which we are developing http://4you.emc2.syncitgroup.com then you are so wrong. The store will be published very soon as a C2C ecommerce store with PayPal c2c payment integration. And if you think that any serious Company would publish its work every 2 days just to indulge someone's wishes - you are also SO WRONG. Today I can say that first emc2 c2c e-commerce site will be done and published any day now. Also, SyncIt Group Company will join efforts with current developers to speed up development of emc2 wallet. After that the wallet will be implemented n 4you store. We'll implement wallet and its API as a public Magento extension so other stores can use it as a payment gateway. First will release extension for Magento 1.9.x and after that for Magetno 2.x. SyncIt Group Company and our portfolio guarantee for this. http://www.syncitgroup.com/our-portfolio/And for you Mike, one business advice. Don't spit on your former team. That more tells about you then about them/us and about future of emc2 coin. paypal? lol .. we don't need paypal bruh

If Ubiq is very good then why coingeko display developer interest % is only 13 ? why it is less if this one is same as ETH ?
Well, for one it appears they're only looking at the go-ubiq repository which isn't the entirety of the project. And for two, it's maintained by a small group of developers because it's a no ico / no pre-mine coin. The code is solid, and great help is provided in slack which means less issue closure and PR resolutions, which appear to be other metrics that factor into that score. For coins like ETH it's easy for them to just pay off developers because they have a huge pile of cash from the ICO. The devs work crypto-related jobs, and had been maintaining the predecessor coin JBS for over 3 years. Not only did this coin have unique features at the time, it was the most stable proof of stake coin I've ever used. That was part of what got me interested in the project. So yea, base on the algorithm I could see it getting a less than satisfactory dev score, but 13 doesn't seem fair in my opinion. %100 pre-mined and you held major stake in this don't think you come to fool us! ~ bittrex froze accts over your shenanigans :\

i was offline since the last dump, when i bought some at 2260 EURO and now that i am back i check we are only 45 euro up from that... pretty boring.. why we not pass 3000 euros already? why those dumps?
Peak euphoria is the problem: reading this board makes you think it's only a matter of time until we reach 4000+ BTC's, while nearly no one seems to be taking into account that the market may be satiated already. BTC has bounced back twice now from about the same price level, and that is a strong signal after a two-and-a-half month long rally. Although I haven't been following the latest ICOs someone claimed some of them are raising huge amounts. When the devs behind them dump the Bitcoins they collected it might suppress the price for a while. Maybe some dev just dumped his ICO coins. If that's what happened the market will probably soon absorb the coins and the price will go back up afterwards. stop saying "ICO" this was a poloniex creative spin on "IPO" because ipos require registration duhhh lol

RE: Segwit, yes it is on-track. The code should be done by the 17th and we can test it and set a date for hardfork in the upcoming weeks thereafter.

Just a thought. Dogecoin was based on giving which, while noble, actually hurts the price of the coin.
There's no reason why Dogecoin could not have been a much larger coin by now, save for too many coins being exchanged for Bitcoin through charity drives. All of the pieces were in place, especially the community.
Raised $2 million worth of Dogecoin for charity? Ooops. Need to sell Doge on the open market to get value in $. This puts tremendous downward pressure on the price, and creates boom/bust cycles.
What is LiteDoge's unique value proposition? Why would someone want to exchange LiteDoge with someone else for something else of value? These are important questions for LiteDoge's' future.
Dogecoin I think made the mistake of focusing on using Dogecoin to buy physical products. But I think LiteDoge could go the route of services.
Services as more abstract, as is cryptocurrency.
I may not want to sell you a coffee for 1 doge, for example, but I may want to take a braid your hair for 500,000 ldoge.
It would also benefit users to have a very simple online wallet where they could punch in an 8-digit code with a pin number and get access to an account. These are just ideas, of course.
Go LiteDoge!
What is LiteDoge's unique value proposition? Why would someone want to exchange LiteDoge with someone else for something else of value? These are important questions for LiteDoge's' future. For example; if you had a project and enough LDOGEcoin, I could build you a house, maybe near a lake...with 2,3 litedoges around lambos +build a castle on your own island gooo LDOGE!!!
