Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we're consolidating quite nicely after yesterday's excessive rise and corresponding deep correction... currently $2418USD (Bitcoinaverage).

Too bad our string of green candles ended at 8 but at we moderated the upsurge to the point where only the zaniest fools will call it a bubble.

It might take a few days to reach another ATH now but that's probably good. Steady growth is best.

People talk as if this "healthy correction" is over, but that is yet to be seen. Only the zaniest of fools would be calling for new ATHs in a matter of a few days at the present time. Come on man, take off your Bitcoin shaded sunglasses for a moment.

Have you people forgotten that Bitcoin has been on a year and a half+ bull run which has seen value appreciation upwards of 1582% (at yesterday's all time high)? So, now that we've dropped down to 1334% value appreciation in 1.5 years, now the correction is over? Puhleeze... give me a break.

The value could and should fall quite a bit more, and ATHs will not be reached again in a matter of days... more likely a matter of months... and probably even more likely a year+.

10K confirmed ===> bitcoin is the new wolf of wall street pink sheets on steroids + cryptolocker shit Cool ((((moon soon))))

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 26, 2017, 04:44:43 PM
We were waiting for that CNBC news for 3 years and never happened. So here is the fact, read follow.

Before investing in a coin, first do your own research. Check here in this forum and search the relevant hashtags on twitter to see the general thought for the coin.

I personally think, this coin is going dead and Brian Kelly, AKA BK, is a real scammer. He got lots of people invested in NAUT because he promised a lot of stuff and there was only a white paper, that's all.
Finally, he moved all 14m NAUT to Poloniex and he is selling and maybe sold out to the poor investors. So watch out when u investing in NAUT.

BK, yes, he is a scammer and most knows it. Check NAUT block chain, NXT platform to trace it back to Brian Kelly's account. It shows that the whole NAUT supply sent to Polo by himself.

When Jake passed away, the lead dev, BK did not make any announcement. After several months passed, he made an announcement saying that the project is halted. So does that mean BK is out of NAUT now because he had enough time to sell all of premined NAUT supply, now Polo can delist it? Well delisting will work out well for you Brian Kelly, but your investors are mad and you should pay over this!

Hope you will find what you deserve, scammer BK. Now suddenly he is more interested in ETH, XMR, several other coins... Does that mean, with the money he robbed from NAUT investors, he is investing them into other coins? Well I think that is 100%. Good luck NAUT holders, you really need this!

Best,

what part of coingen are you confused about anyone everyone knows op CAN'T EVEN CODE Smiley

You're right, bitcoin is not a currency. It's a payment network.

I'd call it a "distributed truth ledger".

any attempt to censor or subjugate bitcoiners freedom will fale. Cool

I'm gonna play the devils advocate here and say, if you are young, are smart and do your research, and have a good career (and thus money to invest), then diversification is a terrible idea.

Here's why.

When you're still young (in your 20's), you still have you're whole life ahead of you to invest. So it's smarter to do the research, and focus on some higher risk/reward investments earlier on. If you try and fail, you're still young and have more time to start again.

If you divest too much when your young, then you'll just lose out on big potential gains early on that compound later. Sure you'll eventually retire with a nice safe $500k, or maybe $1-2M, but that'll take you 30-40 yrs to get there. And it won't be enough. If you focus on higher risk earlier on and diversify when you get older, then you'll realize maybe 2x-4x gains over that amount.

It's a different ballgame when you get older. You no longer have the benefit of time (or $$$, as your expenses have increased and likely your relative income has decreased) so you have to play it much safer moving forward.

Either that, or if you are starting over at an older age with next to nothing saved, have to take BIG risks to make up for lost time. Sadly many have to try and do that today. #YOLO

ALWAYS diversify your shitcoins!!   Cool   #pro-tip
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: May 26, 2017, 01:22:01 PM
Looking at the history, the current Devs took over from the original ones who handed it off at some point. They basically have been working on this coin even when it bottomed out at 25 satoshis. So my guess is they hold a nice stake in the coin from buying low, but there are also other folks who hold this coin.

The reality is the coin is significantly undervalued. They have a dedicated team who have been working and accomplishing targeted goals. The total supply is about 300 million, about 200 million which has been mined, unlike some coins which number in the billions. Its sell walls are also relatively weak in comparison. The foundation has a stake, but I have seen it used for projects they back based on the foundations mission.

This is just my opinion though, and you may agree or disagree. I have been lurking for a few years, I have seen the worst when it was 25, and I have seen its current highs. The dedication of the current devs should be commended. They have pushed forward with both the lows and highs for years.

then there are those like us ( cwi ) ...

we hold NO coins - but are more than happy to support ( and subsequently be part of ) a team that are dedicated and 'good' people ... as well as 'devs' ...

this is a good project - see it for what it is ...

#crysx

you are delusional if you support a coin you don't hold = that's silly rabbit Cool

I know one more supporter that has no coins at all Wink

so what exactly are you supporting? Smiley

Bluelab is the lead tech/coder for the coin. It is on the foundations website. He and his team is the one who is behind all the recent upgrades to the coin.

i'm one of the key supporters of this project that's why i ask Wink

Bringing on new people is never a bad thing, even if they do not (yet) have a stake in the currency. Especially if they are helping things progress and doing the hard work of coding projects like bluelab. It should be noted, the foundation has been bringing on new people to help out, that is always a good thing.
The two foundation board members (Vavarian and Djnocide) though I think do have a stake, and they have been keeping this going for a few years now.
Again I am just an observant investor in the coin who bothered to read through the threads and has been lurking for some time.

Vavarian is a good dude and should get props for his outstanding work as a community leader Cool
