Oh man, I can't wait for this!  Wink

What is going to happen to ZCL after the hard fork?
It will still exist, though we are unsure how its development will continue as of right now.

Need to address this quick please. Im sure others are dying to see whats going to happen to ZCL

Also, can you guys stop saying "check this and that on site X or B" and just link the guide? A lot of confusion lately regarding ZCL and BTCP reddit.

I've been a collector of various coin for a long while. I was collecting ZCash until ZClassic was founded and switched to it just on the basis that the founders reward was removed. I believe all developers should be rewarded for the work and effort however I also felt 20% for four years was a tad steep.

ZCash and ZClassic are at essence the same. ZCash only jumped big when JP Morgan Chase chose to use/get behind it and work with the ZCash team in May. (Bankers)

Smart miners and investors stuck with ZClassic to accumulate the undervalued asset - believing in the future potential. These are smart people. IMHO there is no reason ZCL shouldn't already be valued on par with ZEC - especially with the elimination of the 20% fee/tax to the hardworking loyal miners. Fast profits are not the only reason to mine a coin. It's actually the easiest/cheapest way to accumulate an undervalued asset.

As far as the future for ZCL? Not worried about it really. It is pretty much offers everything ZEC does without being tainted by steep founders tax and banker influence.

ZCL ~ $89.01
ZEC ~ $581.59

Damn, i get 2300 PPT from signature  bounty, and sold all coins for 3$, now 1 PPT cost 25$, Which time I'm convinced that will be better just HOLD all your coins and waiting for Moon.

we will never be able to guess which coins will become popular, so there is some risk in these investments. but if you have different altcoins, it is better to keep everything, on the difference in price you will definitely win

As far as the price rise I am very happy! I seriously doubt this current level is anything close to where it will settle for it's eventual permanent trading range. It is very necessary for some token owners to be willing to sell/trade or there would be no price discovery and no rise or fall in token value. Regardless of the motivation to sell PPT I am very happy some holders are willing to do so. Personally I traded ETH for PPT to be able to use the platform and not sell the token regardless of it's market value.

Why "kill" the goose if it's laying gold eggs?

There are very few good passive income platforms available in the space. PPT token value represents the strength and leverage of earning potential without having to liquidate the main asset to obtain a return. This whole space has literally only grown "legs" in less than a year and is just the beginning of being able to see if these smart contract platforms deploy and function for real world use cases.

I am looking forward to using the platform one or two days a month to generate income so I can spend the rest of my time enjoying life without punching a clock.

Thank you Populous and all the peeps involved.

These might help - not sure if they are sold out yet....

                     DBIX IS ALIVE!!

Ummmm.... kinna scary  Shocked

This looks just like MEW on a DBIX chain....

No hardware wallet option for Ledger or Trezor .... gonna pass for now just to be safe.

It would be nice to have some MEW developer comment on this wallet being sanctioned/approved for utilization by ArabianChain

Buy the rumour sell the news. Long term big winner if the dev is legit and the companies that participate are legit. This could be a money grab. Lookimg further into PPT i am hesitant to put all my trust here.. (Brilliant idea but will they follow through) But its part of the risk we all take. I believe PPT has a cult like following. I am sitting on 700 but am taking my first profits. We may hit 15 but i think a correction is near.

Hey Jesus,

Welcome to the cult (lol)
I think it will be good for you to sell your 700 and I look forward to picking some of them up.
Please enjoy your short term profits and have a wisky on me. I'm solid and long term.... true to the "cult".

Hello ecivfesrire and SemiSeriousInvestor,

Very good content and very impressed with the patience and effort in both of your communications. Even though I enjoy reading some of the funny stuff I like better to see good collaborative discovery process that benefits the whole community. I don't post much but read a great deal and soak up much. Maybe I should be SpongeBigglesSquarePants instead?

Anyway SemiSeriousInvestor - 5.2 "The exact value that is unlocked by the PPT will be announced in a future announcement." to possibly share my take on the PPT white paper section and most likely over-simplify the nature of the concept I have about it...

It seems possible the PPT "token" could have a reference value (poken exchange value) assigned to it for serving a function on the platform itself without necessarily translating that same value outside the system. Maybe the PPT could have a small/minor leverage advantage? This is just a guess but it would be possible (it's crypto after all) that pokens converted via PPT have a different translatable value outside the system but an advantage within when utilized for the purpose the platform is created for. Pokens obtained via fiat could potentially have a different conversion value back into PPT so as not to backdoor into PPT cheaper and still honor the equivalent fiat value at purchase. I think it's great that the platform is not closed to only PPT, and this gives me confidence in inherent future value of the token alone. Seriously though - this is just a guess. These guys are way smarter than me.

However, I believe the intent of Populous is to serve a function that mutually benefits both borrower/lender and the intent is for the main revenue to be generated from invoice factoring and not the speculation of the token. The tokens and platform are the mechanism for many little guys to realize the benefits from both directions for the sake of good business. I believe it will serve users even better the larger they can grow their lending ability if they are not whales at the start.

As for your other concern - 5.2.1 Buyback mechanism...
The way I take that is the people which envisioned this entire ecosystem have the vision to see the future of this platform. It strikes me that they already believe in it's potential and knew the capital it would take to ensure it's success. Additionally that they see the long term potential - not just a few years. They state upfront a unique business methodology of regaining the golden tickets from the open market (not destroying) which is the exact opposite of share dilution. If the PPT is on the open market nobody will know who is buying - or if that PPT will ever return to the market. I personally don't think the platform will suffer with less individual lenders though - and I bet the invoice factoring will grow steadily. There is probably a price at which I will sell mine - dunno yet - but not now. Without this platform I would never have the access to play in this sandbox. I am very eager to watch it evolve and learn as I do it.

Anyway guys, it was great to see good discussion going on. I hope my contribution is useful in some way.

Where can I send my tokens? MyEtherWallet doesn't show the token in the list?

Curious question about the wallet and staking.
First it is a great wallet and works just awesome and is easy - thank you for the great work and INSANE (excellent) tool!

When it is staking and a mining reward comes in it doesn't show my whole balance as part of the stake? just a portion of the whole. All the coins are matured and have been available.

This is just an INSANE "gee-wiz" question about the software/process - I don't see where I can set the amount to be staked.

I can't do graphics but the coin image should be a cold blue aged/antique silver with frost at edges. The "Z" should have ice formation or be made of ice with true depth. If possible, the coin image should be a concave relief with an aged/antique silver blue background with a raised "Z" and be as 3D as possible. Coin image quality should be similar to Panda or Lana just because it would fit the whole Zero idea.

Hi Lead Dev David Mercer....

Just wanted to say several things... don't "venture out" often but get frisky enough to post on occasion.

Zdash wuz good and started there. Hush w/you is even better so thank you. Butt pucker the whole time waiting for wallet with coin on exchange - not wicked skilled so dependent on anchor guys like you for solutions.

Again thank you for your efforts - on all of it - very much & very sincerely.

I sent a trib to the wallet help address and I think I will do it again now that I have listened to you on that radio interview with the guy drinkin bourbon. I think (and hope) others that use the wallet will do the same - because they should - it's just right to do so. It's the first thing I did with my test coin deposit - a "send" test to the best place to send it to.

KMD QT wallet suks ballz.... missed the jumbler @ block 360,000 cause no private key. So does the zec/zcl/zen eleos abomination. I had 1657 zcl on that wallet waiting for the fork... updated to the new and lost all. No .dat backups - only option wallet gave was .tor - java wallets all flake/unstable until yours for HUSH.

Wish you were the one who made the zcl fork wallet but hey.... these are the risks and some you loose.

Just an old school lurker that wanted to say thanks - many times - so thanks.

Crap.... please make wallet encrypt-able and I will keep it up 24/7. (forgot that was main thought that spawned a venture to actually post)

I saw SuperNET add this coin ,then i check coinmarketcap, WOW! 113% UP in one day, what's going on HUSH?
With David (radix42) as the lead dev, HUSH definitely should not be trading below zclassic. HUSH is not just a zcash clone, it has a roadmap to add key new features like Counterparty. Also, David has been the go-to guy to get a zcash fork working with Windows and he did a fantastic job for Komodo.

Recently, some of SuperNET investments like STRAT and IOTA reached full valuations so I have been diversifying into promising new coins.

Similar to buying zcash when it was a fraction of XMR marketcap, buying HUSH when it is a fraction of other zcash forks doesnt take a lot of courage.

ZEN is subject to replay attack and its lead dev bailed out. Yet ZEN is trading at many times the marketcap of HUSH. Is the market right or is this a case of market inertia and mispriced coins? How often do you find a coin on the third page of coinmarketcap, when it belongs on the first page?

You can see that I bought some HUSH:

http://old.supernet.org/nav.php

HUSH is now safely in the long term hodl portfolio of SuperNET and I look forward to working with David as HUSH roadmap is completed. I will be adding HUSH to the Komodo native DEX so that soon you can trade HUSH without ever losing control of your coins.

I dont usually post in threads of other coins, but I wanted to announce the HUSH addition to SuperNET portfolio.

Hello, first time caller long time listener - lol (old AM radio thing)

So first - really like HUSH. Became part of it all when Zdash - just lucky I guess.

Surprised to see "David" helped on the windows Komodo wallet because that makes me nervous....
I have a significant amount of Komodo and got the email that it had to be in my possession (private key) to get the Jumbler at the snapshot of the blockchain on the 13th. Well, I had already tried the posted and flawed Agama wallet - tried Baslisk and Iguana both without luck.... got the first QT version and then tried the second just before the snapshot without any luck of it installing correctly. Happy with my Komodo - would have been nice bonus to get the Jumbler but wasn't going to risk the KMD without confidence so still happy enough.

Tonight downloaded the HUSH QT and noticed the same Java icon upper left corner and reminded me of Komodo QT when first started (also infinite for 4 days). Just was wondering if the wallet would have worked if it came with instructions for the config file like HUSH wallet did?

Huge HUSH fan... have the ZCash... the Zdash(HUSH)... the Komodo... the ZCL... and the Zen

will always luv BTC for origin - hugs to Satoshi
