1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: March 05, 2018, 02:25:47 AM
Did monaco live up to its promise? I'm afraid its hard to say, because Monaco credit card is extremely incompetent against visa and mastercard.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[NEW][ICO] 🚀EtherSpin Casino 🚀 ⭐ Bet with Any Cryptocurrency ⭐ 🔥 Bounty 🔥✅ on: March 05, 2018, 02:08:50 AM
Does Etherspin run on top of Ethereum? How would it be possible to bet with coins that are not a standard ERC20 token?

Great question! For ERC-20 tokens, we will handle it directly on the Ethereum blockchain through smart contracts. The implementation of non ERC-20 coin bets will be handled by watching incoming bets, passing that data directly to our smart contract which then will involve requesting a random number as we did before, and logging the bet event (with proof and result) to the blockchain for records. Then, our server will distribute the winnings accordingly. As a result, the bet process will be partially off-chain. However, the random number generation and proof remains the same - retaining the advantage of provable fairness in EtherSpin's platform. Users can still verify the authenticity of the bet by viewing the bet event details through a block explorer.

The method of distribution for other coin may be a lot of work, Good job!

Interesting idea, surprised no one has done a universal casino.  Cheesy

Maybe you guys can get some partnerships with other gambling networks to promote each other. After all, other casinos primarily focus on 1 coin instead of you guys who allow all coins.

Hello community! Tell me please. How many People are working on this project? Thankfulness.

I look around the site and it looks like the team members are listed on their site. Curious about the ICO supply and details too before I invest. Otherwise, looks like a solid idea and project so far.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 22, 2018, 01:36:02 AM
When we talk about value, you want to look for a certain thing.
Real Value or just temporary value,
Network and a good team helps boosting the value, but these are always temporary.
Not every alt-coin will succeed even when they have a good team and product.
When an altcoin delivers a good product with good marketing and good news. The price just jacks up. But it often falls back to its real price.
Like Ripple , 0.25 to 3. falls back to 1-1.3.
Bitcoin, Fluctuates from 8 to 19k, but always be around 10k-11k mark.
These are their real price. So I often look for products that is undervalue and under priced when looking at the charts.
But if you can find the real value of a product, then there is the profit.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: February 07, 2018, 08:54:36 PM
This is a horrible comparison, if you look at bitcoin, it has big volatility. And look at gold, its an instrument to retain value.
There is no comparison between two.
Buy gold if u want to hold wealth.
Buy bitcoin if you want growth, but prepare to face loss too.

Hi,
zcash-cloud.com Is It Real ?
Or Scam?

There's no way to tell until the site is reputable, and even then you're not sure
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: May 24, 2017, 09:20:54 PM
Bitcoins price at this state will never go down i think since pumpers of this coins is craving to reach their goal to $2000 mark,no matter how bitcoins price decrease it will justkick back

It is definitely going to keep on pumping. There's no such as pumpers at this point, because it's a normal demand that is becoming higher. And expect the price will go up to $2,000 and after seeing the price of bitcoin reach at $2,000 hope for another ATH and after reaching that new ATH, just do cycle again.

I have my targets at $2000 as well. I think at that price there will be a big sell off so I wouldnt hold it through that level. Who am I to say though, bitcoins price might just not stop going up since there are so many developments recently.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 24, 2017, 08:55:24 PM
Yes I agree the acceptance of the USD is more popular than the bitcoin and people still love the physical existence of the currency in form of a metal coin or a paper note instead of the digital currency which they cannot carry like a USD in the pockets. Therefore the USD is preferred.

Physical money will always have a place in the world economy, but everything is becoming more and more digital. I personally almost never pay with physical money anymore, as I just use my smartphone or bank card to complete purchases. It's a trend that is only getting stronger among the younger generation. At some point the majority of the people in modern economies will ditch physical money as it will become more and more obsolete -- it's just a matter of time.

USD can become purely digital extremely easily. Most transactions nowadays are conducted directly through card transactions which do not involve physical cash. Bitcoin would need to be more competitive than just being a digital currency to compete with the already dominant USD.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative Block Chains : be safe! on: May 11, 2017, 03:56:22 AM
I use separate passwords for each wallet i have so that if one password gets compromised, my other passwords are still safe. I also use a password generator so that my passwords will be harder to decrypt.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Switzerland as a bitcoin haven on: May 11, 2017, 01:35:34 AM
Switzerland is always a financial paradise. I am not surprised that swtizerland will be a bitcoin paradise. they have the banking infrastructure to support the transition from fiat currency to crypto currency.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: May 09, 2017, 01:49:37 AM
I am one of those people who came quite late to this bircoin world. I like to be realistic and I know that it seems almost imposible for me to achieve great wealth through bitcoin, however I have no doubt that this coin will be quite useful for me in the not distant future to move my money, generated through other businesses.

It is not too late since bitcoin is still young it is possible that it can go up to a million dollars per bitcoin. As of this moment you just need to store 1 bitcoin in your wallet then hold it until such time that its value is very high that you will be able to buy a house and lot or a car. If it will go up to 1 million dollar you will still profit since bitcoin will still go up in value but if it reaches 1 million dollar then you are a millionaire.
well that's so big but its possible since btc really have more value to rise up the more people understand the chain the more profitable btc can be,
for sure if you reach that value you can already have a house and a car if you are leaving in a third world countries.

But there is a very least possibility that price of bitcoins will be in millions in future and if that really happens then people who have even 1 btc will become millionaire in future but I don't that is realistic value to dream of and maximum bitcoin can achieve the price is $10k not possible to go beyond that.

I think a valuation of 1m/btc will be an impossibility. that would make a total market cap of 21,000,000,000,000 (21 trillion) assuming that all 21million bitcoins are mined. it just doesnt seem likely within our lifetime.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will LTC correct? on: April 28, 2017, 08:47:28 AM
My stop loss just saved my ass so I didn't lose any money, but I didn't sell any, so I didn't make any profit on this ride. My stop loss was set at 0.0105, went to sleep hopping it wouldn't go this low but it just fucking did. Is this a return to mean in order to continue a smooth growth? whales accumulating for 2 weeks before segwit is actually functional? we will keep stagnating until we see actual features being added and BTC continuing struggling to scale to cater for micro transactions?

I don't want to get in now and find out it's at sub 0.01 tomorrow. I know it will go up in the long term but I don't want to see it stagnate until it finds a bottom.
I bet LTC will correct back to $4 eventually. God knows where this insane pump is coming from! BTC is still the way to go.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: whether one dogecoin could be $ 1? on: April 28, 2017, 08:33:20 AM
I found an article on dogecoin that cost could reach $ 1 is that correct?
I don't believe dogecoin is ever rising. It's now just a dying memecoin. The hype and pump is over.

But there's always a chance. Maybe dogecoin will be the currency of the future!
It's funny though that LTC is rising again. Maybe Doge will get a revival too in the future. Who knows!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $10,000 to leave for a year... on: April 28, 2017, 08:16:53 AM
... which crypto(s) would you go in on? You won't be touching them a lot just holding for 1 year+.

    My thoughts:
    -ETH
    -GNT
    -Lykke (maybe)
    -NAV
    -ARDR

What else do you guys think, please try and leave a reason why as well? Best to diversify instead of chucking all on ETH imo.
ETH is already pretty high now, but sure I'd still add some to it. The rest I'd hold and wait for the "next Ethereum" to come. Right now, there doesn't seem to be any extremely eye catching investments in crypto aside from the numerous ICOs that you can dump right after the initial buy.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Much we can earn here weekly Through signature campaign on: April 28, 2017, 07:50:28 AM
It depends on the rank of your account on bitcointalk, obviously higher rank means higher earning due to the payout being higher

Looks like YoBit pays the highest. I'd be happy with 0.03 BTC / month posting here and there to be honest!
19  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: April 12, 2017, 08:55:35 PM
Whether Bitcoin will benefit it in long run or not has various factors to depend on like -

- Country policy towards bitcoin
- What rate you purchased bitcoin. Was it at early stage like 300 - 400$ or above 1000$
- If  China decides to ban bitcoin in coming time price will fell like a ball falls from top since they hold majority.

It seems countries are getting friendly with bitcoin this time.  So I guess Bitcoin will increase in price.  And even at $1000 a piece purchase, Bitcoin price incease is inevitable.  China's ban on Bitcoin if ever will only result in a temporary dip in price, there are more country that are going friendly with Bitcoin so definitely this will cover the losses created by China's ban.

I believe that the price right now (1217 at the time of this post) is going to be considered a low point for bitcoin in a few years. as more countries and people adopt the use of bitcoins and cryptos, the price will shoot for the moon
