1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Selling My House to Buy Litecoin on: April 19, 2017, 04:03:22 AM
A very brave decision to sell the house only to buy litecoin. but it sounded amazing you dare to risk a very daunting in the lead. But indeed with a strong sense of your belief that I think you should in brandishing the thumb to do it, it is very uncommon to hear people doing it and it happened to you. We wish you success and do not feel a loss with what you do.

This is just pure gambling. It's almost the same thing if he sold his house and went all in on a dice casino. Selling your house for Litecoin is a stupid idea, in my opinion. It went good for him, but maybe others did the same and became homeless. When a decision means risking your life itself, you better not take it.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 BTC = inflation-adjusted $millionaire in 12 years on: April 19, 2017, 03:43:39 AM
12 years? Too much, in my opinion..

Look around you and you will notice that things are worse than you might have thought. We don't even know what is about to happen tomorrow.

All I know is that things are getting worse, and this happens pretty much every day.. we're just distracted by different things, and therefore we cannot see the regress of our community as a whole. And as soon as things get bad, people are looking for a good place for refuge - that's the moment people are finding the great advantages of Gold, Silver, Cryptocurrencies.

I am looking forward to a fourth of the price you're speaking about. And this price might be seen.. this year. After everything happening around the world, I really do believe this will happen this year.

Bitbay and Blocknet.  Both will explode soon because of the tech they represent.

Hmm, this sounds interesting. Blocknet is a little bit too expensive to buy right now though, isn't it? I mean I'd rather buy Bitbay at a 200 times smaller price, which would make it a huge profit in case the coin goes to $0.01! I will look now for the price and I will maybe even buy when I find a small one. Smiley
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: April 16, 2017, 05:12:58 PM
We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
Bitcoin works on a secured block chain mechanism.Wallets are well secured.Nothing would happen nas your friend imagines. If it is true, then no none would be having their bitcoins in their wallets and every bitcoin would have been hacked.

This makes no sense - what does Gambling have to do with Bitcoin itself? There are HUGE thefts around the world probably every hour in USA.. does that make the USD dangerous? It's the gambling website owner's fault if he didn't allocate enough money to provide the website a good enough security. And most of the big BTC hacks were actually scams, and the "hack" was just a reason for them to be able to carry the millions away. People are getting rich from these "hacked" reasons... wake up!

EDIT: I might have understood the message the wrong way. If a computer can predict a gambling result with math formulas, it makes it pretty ... impossible .. to crack a private key. That's just one private key. What about all the private keys around the world?
It's hard for a hacker to crack a password, even if it's a 15-character one. It's hard because the computer needs very much time to crack it. And even if computers are evolving, it will NOT be too easy too soon. I doubt even a quantum PC can bruteforce a private key at the moment. Bitcoin has been here for 9 years already, and no such event ever happened. The only "hacked" people were those who left their private keys on their desktops or somewhere hackers or thieves could easily find. It's a mistake.
