These are the newly "released" coins:
DU,BTCE,GFX,BANC,EXPAT,XNG,BMXT,MC,Rankine,CWIS,VERE,SKELR,IRC,BLAS,CHEE,TOTN,BRA,XGTC,BXO,GSAVE,BID, CMO,QVORT,ASTO,Orion,BZL,NDASH,WWV,MGC,TBS,AXE,Poker,GladCoin,POS,XGOD,USAcoin,VIG,Coins,ILS,STAMP,HPS, Foxy,PPP,REC,GJOC,ZNT,BCP,BTSK,ACDC,LOVE,NTC,666,MBYT,BTCG,BTCI,KRD,KGB2,ICC,GMO
Once again nothing for me. Then again, most of mine are worth something.
Been a couple weeks now since the last group of coins. Wonder what's going on this time? They have run out of no valued shitcoins to release. Considering they presumably sold off everything else, no more updates would be my best guess.

If the site doesn't accept deposits, it really doesn't matter if it is still online. I also agree that it being online will help law enforcement.
I have my doubts if law enforcement is busy with this at the moment. Did anybody who filed complaints to FBI, CFTC, Interpol etc. ever hear something? Did people from Holland, where CM is hosted, file complaints and do they have prove of that? Agreed. But if, and when an agency does decide to take a look, I would think it would help to expedite things having the site up.

Can anybody think of a plausible explanation why some bitcoin is still there and some is gone?
If they were doing an exit scam, why didn't they just take all the money and run?
Are you basing this on the blockchain explorer or what your balance says on CM?

Not this guy, but you are close somehow Yeah, I was just trying to give some background on the pseudonym they were registering under.

Those other teams might think that, but Master Den from the core ECA team denies their "confirmations" and says we don't know if it was a scam or not. Remember when everyone was doubting, and then they released the ECA? The doubters were wrong then and could be wrong now. No dude. There is no gray area. They back their claims up with proof, via links to the blockchain showing that CM transferred it's customers coins to another exchange and sold them for Bitcoin, then withdrew the Bitcoin. We're talking about coins that have been locked up for months, that their customers had no access to. There is no denying that. One exchange went as far as to confirm that CoinsMarkets had transferred these unaccessible coins and sold them for BTC. There is no more doubting.

We don't know if CoinsMarkets.com exit scammed or not. I just spoke with Master Den (core member of ECA team). He confirmed that we don't know if CoinsMarkets.com exit scammed or not. People are jumping to conclusions here because they don't know the insider info that Master Den has. Just be patient, we don't know if they exit scammed or not.
lel.. Lots of proof dude.. I can't help but laugh at comments like these.

I've long defended them as incapable idiots whose exchange grew to big, to fast. However; the new evidence is overwhelming and I doubt I'll see my ALQO ever again. Thanks for the form, and I've filled it as well https://forms.cftc.gov/Forms/TipsAndComplaints.aspxI really, really hated taking that road. It seems to defeat everything that crypto. stands for to me personally. But the other part of me can't let them get away with fucking over so many people. I just can't get past that one.

Recommend everyone read the above article. It is truly amazing - 4 months and the heist continues.... Crypto really shows you things never before thought possible! Lots of confirmations of what some had previously concluded, that an exit scam has/had and is still taking place. What next? As inept as these guys appeared, they did a pretty damn good job of cloaking their identities. Perhaps now, the conversation should revolve around who best has the capability and resources to identify the culprits involved in this fraud. That seems to be the next logical step.

I just reported cm to their hosting provider along with cloudfare.
I provided evidence of their exit scam along with anything else I can find from other users. (COLX team, etc etc).
If they do not shut down coinsmarkets.com, they will be reported to the authorities for allowing a site that stole millions of dollars to continue to run. Currently, if you deposit into CM, the deposits still work.
The reason Coinsmarkets was so mad about people reporting them to their hosting provider, was because at the time, they had all the coins on their servers there. If the web hosting refused to grant them access, they had no way of having access to its users coins.
That's why they were desperately trying to find another host. To be able to steal the coins.
We have given them time, but its clear they scammed everyone.
Allowing their site to still be up and operational is unacceptable. If cloudfare and its current hosting provider does not remove coinsmarkets, they will be reported to the authorities as well.
Good day.
But this will also mean you will never retrieve your coins! lel.. What part of, "exit scam" don't you get?

Anyone tried to contact cryptopia or bittrex? Or anyone who is in legal action, his lawyer maybe can tell them to freezing accounts? Cryptopia was contacted by some members of COLX team, but I hear that they wouldn't give up any info. Maybe a subpoena would work, but who knows..

I've seen some updates on their website, the latter says, "server is being prepared and almost done", or something similar. This gives me a bit of hope that there's a new message on the front page and not just "Down for maintenance, come back soon." text on a white page. Also, I am currently logged in, and can navigate most sites, but not trading is not yet open, as far as I know.
I don't know what coins you had at CM, but if they have/had any value, I would consider them gone. CM has transferred and sold millions of their customer's coins already. They are releasing the worthless coins in order to buy time. These dumb asses can't even exit scam properly. I look forward to the day that I read about them being caught. In the meantime, I hope the stress of knowing this day is coming, weighs on them heavily. Either way, I would take any of their messages as nothing more than utter bullshit.

Sorry to hear that man. This whole thing is really disheartening. Hopefully it will catch up to them eventually..

Pretty much all the coins CM has released so far either have no exchanges or no market value, so if this is a long drawn-out exit scam, releasing the coins they can't sell out the front door while selling the coins with market value out the back door would perfectly match up with the theory proposed by the COLX team. Shouldn't been too difficult to prove, just a little tedious. Start matching up deposits into CM to see if they trace back to the address assumed to be CM's. Scam confirmed. CFTC notified. Fuck FBI.. https://forms.cftc.gov/_layouts/PublicForms/TipsAndComplaints.aspx
