5  Economy / Services / Java Homework on: June 04, 2017, 04:06:37 AM
I need help on my Java homework. Can pay in BTC

This is one of the complicated questions:

Define the Employee abstract superclass from which specific types of Employee's can be derived.  This abstract class contains one instance variable; name. (4 points)

This class should contain a default constructor.
This class should contain a constructor which can be used to pass in the name of the Employee.
This class should contain the getName() method to retrieve the name instance variable
This class should contain the setName() method to set the name instance variable.
This class should contain an abstract method, getSalary(), which is not defined in this class because determining the salary of an Employee is dependent on the Employee type.
Define two derived classes from the Employee superclass: (2 points each)

The Commission class should be derived from the Employee class  The salary for this type of employee is based on a sales commission percentage.
The Hourly class should be derived from the Employee class.  The salary for this type of employee is based on a base pay plus tips collected.
Each derived class should contain constructors, which call the constructor of the superclass.

Each class should implement a toString() method to provide a formatted output of the name, as well as the salary based on the Employee type.

Examples:

   Commission  employee1 = new Commission( "Wendy Smith", 40000, 4 );
   Hourly      employee2 = new Hourly( "Bruno Hildago", 800, 325 );

   System.out.println( employee1 );
      may result in an output of
   Wendy Smith salary is $1600.00

   System.out.println( employee2 );
      may result in an output of
   Bruno Hildago salary is $1125.00

This is a simple question:

Given the following array declaration:

int[] flowers = { 4, 16, 12, 7, 1, 5, 3 };

What is the value of the first element?

What is the value of flower.length?

What is the value contained in third element?

What is the array index for the last array element?

A.4

B.7

C.12

D.6

I currently do not have netbeans installed on my laptop else I would have helped you with the problems, but I have a friend who has netbeans. So if you want I can help you with that.

So is that a yes or no on the problems?

Pretty basic problems. Shouldn't take a good coder more than an hour and a half

11  Economy / Services / Anyone familiar with MyProgrammingLab? on: May 31, 2017, 04:14:21 AM
Have about 110 problems on MyProgrammingLab I can't figure out. Not too complex since it's basic java, I'm sure an experienced programmer can figure it out.

Name your price

15  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Eth mining rig (175 H/s - 6x RX 480) on: May 09, 2017, 05:02:15 PM
Located in Beaverton, Oregon.

Testing the waters.  Open to offers, but looking for $1850 shipped.  Everything in pristine shape.  More info / pics, send me a PM.

- 6x XFX Black Edition RX 480 8GB GPUs
- Intel G3320
- ASRock H81 Pro
- 8GB RAM
- 120GB PNY SSD
- 1300W EVGA PSU
- custom black frame

It's running ethOS, but I can switch it to whatever OS you want.  I'd recommend ethOS, runs like a beast.
Takes about 870w at the wall, give or take 10w.

Has anyone dealt with this POS?!  he burned me out of 1.5 BTC
looking for his address/email? name is something like  Max Greenfeld from Beaverton Oregon
any help would prob get some BTC sent your way.
Thank you

It looks like user maxg sold 2 S9's to aryer84
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=723522
Either aryer84 is an alt of maxg, or he *should* have information on how to locate maxg (since i can only assume one would track the sending of 2 S9's).

If aryer84 is an alt of maxg, you can deduct from his trustpage that user kyren has sent him  a set of KNC Titan cubes, using ognasty as escrow
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=177279

So, i'd personally try to contact aryer84 with proofs that maxg scammed you... If you find out that aryer84 is an alt of maxg, try contacting ognasty and kyren. Ognasty is nobody's alt (he's really trusted around here), kyren *might* be an alt, otherwise he *should* be able to help you (since he'd know where he sent the titan cubes).

Do note that you'd have to present a solid, proven, scamcase to aryer84, otherwise it would be unwise of him to divulge personal information... It might even be better to file an official police report, and ask for this information legally.
solid advice

Oddly enough I was just about to purchase some titan cubes from aryer84, escrow was already set up and then he disappeared right around when these comments where made. Interesting  Huh

Hey, I seem to be getting a stable 275 mhs on the miners control panel. Yet on every pool I've tried the mhs range from 180-300, staying mostly in the 230mhs are. The amount of coins I receive is also equivalent to 230mhs. Is there a problem with my miner? It's a temperature controlled environment, never overclocked or overvolted.

I appreciate any input someone may have

Still waiting on that boom. how do you like me now?

You'll see.

I agree there will be a boom but it doesn't justify those prices.

The silverfish hashes at the same efficiency rate as the A2.
All I see is 28 mhs for the silverfish.

oh geez...nvm. There's a difference between power efficiency and hashrate...you should do a little more research.

Also...the L3+ being sold for $2500 hasn't even been shipped from the manufacturer yet.

The only L3+ that anyone actually has possession of is being sold here in the market is listed for 5k...

I'd let my 2 fan L3 go for around $3000

I'm curious to know what you'll try and sell your L3 for once the L3+ ships

When it ships?

They shipped and are mining away currently Smiley

Thanks!

You're May 10th L3+ antminers have shipped?
20  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTB) GPU Rigs and Scrypt miners on: April 30, 2017, 07:38:11 AM
The silverfish hashes at the same efficiency rate as the A2.

What are you willing to pay for an L3?

All I see is 28 mhs for the silverfish.

Newer A2s seems to get 90-110 mhs.

Since there's an L3+ being sold for $2500

I'd $1400 for the L3
