Me too! I still have my Ico coins and lost a lot of value! Are you speaking about the value in bitcoin or USD? In Bitcoin it's currently ~1/2 the ICO price. In USD, it's about the same as ICO. good info, i never count it into usd, and never notice it Unlike most people here, I quantify value in the currency I use to pay my bills... |

I think for altcoin WAVES is already in Bittrex, if you want to buy it why you do not go to Bittrex to get it and start trading there, are you looking for a cheap price? I do not think you will get it because they know the price. There, and they persist. WAAH is being traded on Dex. Hasn't made it to Bittrex yet. Sorry I do not see it anymore in this case, I think WAAH it is WAVES, it turns out it's different from what I see. Waah is different from waves waah is just using waves contract for now you can only trade it in Dex but soon it will be available in public exchange too. You can confirm that it's going to be traded on tidex, bittrex, etc? |

Is Waves going to integrate someway to pre-screen all these new tokens before distribution?
People shouldn't be able to create tokens with the same name as a legitimate one...
I.E. I received a "WBTC" (Identifier: G6F52cNqSi7v2kuj2anzyKkYgbhsijWvCJDD3WvKzjLH) and a "Bitcoin" (Identifier: 3y7oak8nrFNWnjWVsH7TKL8poXK4oBEUE24UxKdFwpyX) which are obviously not legitimate. Creates a lot of confusion...
I'm all for receiving free stuff but, these random worthless tokens are cluttering up my asset portfolio.
I would have to agree with this, it does create a lot of confusion. Also a way to archive assets or idk, to hide them from list because they drop and drop, I just got 4-5 in a row. Increase the cost to create the new tokens to $100 range...that will stop some of the spam tokens. They are using the system like an advertising platform...they can send a message to every WAVES client for $0.70. I can see the merit in that. $100 is rather insignificant for a legitimate project while being dissuasive for a scammer. More importantly though, it would be another potential source of revenue for the platform. |

I would have to agree with this, it does create a lot of confusion. unique asset names are ready on the testnet, will be on the mainnet in the next release a little patience What will happen to existing duplicates? Hopefully nothing... except being able to differentiate them better. The ease of creating and distributing new tokens is one of Waves main selling points IMO. |

Excellent communication is one advantage Waves has over many other coins currently in circulation. Really helps build investor's confidence. Luckily for me, patience is the one thing I can afford.
