Installing the ZEIT Wallet. 1st. Sync your wallet. 2nd. When sync was 99% then I withdraw from the market to my wallet, immediately after that I Unlocked the wallet (sync was 99%). I do so have lost zeit coin has withdraw? As long as you sent your coins to your Receive Address, you are good. Your Coins will not appear until the wallet syncs the block that contained the transfer of coins. *It is not necessary to unlock the wallet to receive coins, only if you want to stake your coins.*However you can always check your address in the Block Explorer, which stays in sync with the network. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/zeit/Post your Transaction ID or your receive address in the Search Field and it will show your Coin Balance.

Hi
I have my wallet encrypted and wallet backups made. But I would also like to keep my address and the private key on the paper just in case.
Is there a way of doing it and verifying it ?
Thanks
Dump your Private keys and import into another ZEIT Wallet to verify. steps: Open the wallet, Click on Help, click Debug Window, click the Console tab, For unencrypted wallets: beside > type dumpprivkey (ZEIT Receive Address) , hit Enter key. For encrypted wallets: beside > type: walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here" 600 , hit enter, then type dumpprivkey (ZEIT Receive Address) , hit Enter key. Copy and Paste the private key along with the ZEIT receive address into a text document. Repeat those steps for each of your Receive address that had ZEIT in them, once you have finished. Go to your new ZEIT Wallet installation. steps: Open the text document created above. Open the wallet, Click on Help, click Debug Window, click the Console tab, beside > type importprivkey (Paste your Private Key here) , hit Enter key. Repeat until you have imported all of your private keys into the new wallet. Then Close & Restart your wallet with zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan .

hi (Caballero) Kiklov "2. Buy up a large quantity comparable to a ZEIT Knight so that you will be able to stake daily. Hopefully by 2019 , we will be pushing out a code update that will credit stakers with the transaction fees for all of the transactions they include in a block. As time goes on , and the # of people using the network increases , the # of transactions fees increase. Transaction fee of .01 paid by 2000 transactions = a fee of 20 ZEIT per block So when ZEIT = 1 Penny = You earn 20 cents for every block of just transaction fees 1 Dollar = You will earn $20 for every block of just transaction fees 10 Dollar = You will earn $200 for every block of just transaction fees 100 Dollar = You will earn $2000 for every block of just transaction fees"
1-if i make a node whit 1000 zeitcoin 24/7 (365) this transaction feed its the same if i make a node whit 100M zeitcoin ?
2- if a need a node whit 100M Zeit 24/7 what about security thing for example ,hacking or broken HD etc etc ?
Transaction fees are fixed at .01 . You would have to make sure your node is secure from hacking and make backups in case the hard drive fails. Those are things you should already be doing.

in this case add it to the stock exchange with good turnover? Need to increase daily trades and to raise the price , due to low prices Сryptopia closed the btc market...
What we need is exchanges (CoinExchange & Yobit) to quit being incompetent and sync their wallets. ZEIT is selling for 5 satoshi on Yobit and 3 satoshi on CoinExchange. Plus all of their ZEIT trading volume is not even included in our CMK trading volume and it is in the thousands.

1000000 * .0005% = 500 coins / 12 months = 41.66 coin per month 41.66 how to calculate 0.05% ?
Hmm, Lets try again: If you have 1000000 ZEIT, 1000000 * .0005% = 5 coins / 12 months = 0.417 coin per month (You will only make ~5 New coins per year) or 1000000 * .0005% = 5 coins / 365 days = 0.0136986 coin per day All of the zeitcoins in existence36,971,176,414 * .0005% = 184855.88207 New coins (for the year) / 365 Days = 506 coins per day If everyone staked all of their coins Daily, we see an average of ONLY ~506 new coins created per day as an average.

how many coins will be added within 1 month , if translated into purse 1000000zeit ?
If you have 1000000 ZEIT, 1000000 * .0005% = 5 coins / 12 months = 0.417 coin per month You will earn more if you stake every day , as each day is compounded interest. This is what Ultra Low Inflation looks like, there will not be massive dumping in the future once more ZEIT finds a stable home. The Entire coin amount on average will make less than 500 new coins per day. As you can monitor here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/zeit/#!overviewThis has the advantage of as new money flows into ZEIT, the price per coin will increase over time, not decrease like coins that are hyper inflated. If you are looking to make money with ZEIT. Here are your options: 1. Buy ZEIT and wait for the price per coin to increase and then sell. or 2. Transaction fee of .01 paid by 2000 transactions = a fee of 20 ZEIT per block So when ZEIT = 1 Penny = You earn 20 cents for every block of just transaction fees 1 Dollar = You will earn $20 for every block of just transaction fees 10 Dollar = You will earn $200 for every block of just transaction fees 100 Dollar = You will earn $2000 for every block of just transaction fees You have the opportunity to stake 2880 times per day , the more you stake the more fees you earn. Your Fees can be sold daily and not affect our inflation rate like running a high interest rate would. Also if you sell only your fee profit, your staking rate stay basically the same giving you a consistent paycheck on a daily basis. You will earn more by processing transactions than you do from the Ultra Low interest rate.

hi "compañeros" 1- where i can make a nice paper wallet 2- when i have a paper wallet how i can Withdrawals (i need a client wallet ? ) 3- take off all your altcoin from exchange ,poloniex "Lost" all coin T.T There are 2 paperwallet links in the OP, but the one that links to the website is down as the website is being rebuilt. Paper wallets are just a way to store the private key, You still have to get a wallet synced and Import the Private Key into a working wallet before you can stake or spend the coins.

The coin has no practical application... just like 99% of all coins and tokens. It is simply a tool of speculation , so why this coin is in peace? Maybe an active community it makes sense to organize themselves. Wait that someone will do it for You , naive is a very loyal expression. Good coin , I bought a 1M
There we have to disagree, this coin can be used to replace paper currencies. When the people of the world start to do that is up to them, however the capacity to do so is in the coin right now. The final goal of this coin is not to be traded for fiat back and forth like gold as a commodity. The final goal of this coin is that people send it directly between each other as a form of payment, never wanting to convert to another type of currency.

Never knew Zeitcoin is a peercoin fork. Peer coin has a 176 million dollar market cap at the moment.
The Majority of all Coins with a Proof of Stake code, are based on peercoin code. Sunny King Peercoin's Dev was the 1st to invent Proof of Stake consensus. That is awesome. This change could perhaps be added to the coins roadmap that people keep asking about and let's call it something. Well, I guess you could call it Processing Transactions Rewards HardFork. Goal would be to have it set to start by 2019.

can someone explain to me how do I mint this coin? Do I need to unlock the wallet and then what? does it need the wallet to be full sync? and how long does it take to show some zeits?
1st. Sync your wallet. 2nd. After the wallet is fully synced , Unlock the wallet. * Blocks only start staking after they are over 24 hours old, after that the # of coins per block and the age compete with other blocks, the most coins with the oldest age will stake. Once a Block Stakes, its age returns to zero. How do nodes compete for transaction fees and how are they rewarded ? groggin gave the short answer, This is the long winded version. Proof of Stake explained: http://earlz.net/view/2017/03/24/1901/proof-of-stake-mining-how-it-actually-worksAt the moment, our nodes are only competing to stake (earn interest), the transaction fees are currently being destroyed. We only found out after the ULI switch , that peercoin code which ZEIT owes some of it origin, destroys all transaction fees as an inflation offset. I was talking with Poll4all to write the additional code, so Ray could import it into the github in a few months. Poll4all for whatever reasons has become unreliable, so I have to find another programmer to write the update before Ray can import it into the Github and test it. Hmm, Rambled there a bit, Back to your question: Nodes only compete to Stake, when they Win the right to stake , All Transaction in the Mempool when a block stakes is included with that block. Example: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/zeit/block.dws?4291370.htmThis fee amount (Destroyed -0.162974 ZEIT) will instead be added to your staked amount as a reward , once we get the new code programed and updated. As you notice only 1 transaction is included in that 1 block besides the staked amount. The more transactions included the more fees that can be earned, so the transaction fees can earn you more than the stake. Bitcoin Can perform ~7 transactions per second. ZEIT Can Perform ~140 Transactions per second. Bitcoin has a variable fee system, so the rich can jump in front of the poor. ZEIT has a fixed fee system, and all transactions are processed in the order they are created. (Fair Design for everyone).
When you send out coins from your wallet, this transaction enters the mempool, when 1 of the wallets stake, all transactions in the mempool are included with that staked block, that when you receive 1 Confirmation. FYI: On Average, we have less than 100 transactions per day , at the moment, so we have time to update the transaction fee code, before the fees become so high, that they could start decreasing our total # of coins.

Looks like Nova Exchange is getting closer to coming back online. https://novaexchange.com/news/2018-01-14 14:23 - Nova will NOT close its doors! Honoured customers and crypto currency enthusiasts! You have been told a while ago now that we were planning to close down Nova Exchange in the beginning of 2018. We made this tough decision because Nova Exchange was growing at a speed, and in a way, that us, the founders, could not keep up with and run the business in a meaningful and secure way. Not wanting to make promises we might not be able to keep, we didn’t tell anyone, not anyone, that we never stopped looking for a way to keep going and keep Nova Exchange in business. So! We are so happy to announce that we have found a partner, a new main shareholder, willing and more importantly, able to carry on running Nova Exchange. The new owners, we have made sure, have the resources and the experience (6+ years in the business) it takes to provide excellent service to you all. We started negotiations and talks early in November last year, and now we can tell you the good news: The show will go on! More information will follow. In the meantime, just go keep on trading crypto. Best Wishes to you all!

Nopes. Leaving coins on exchange is out of question. Like you say leave the coins you're willing to lose and I am not willing to lose any.
My question was more with regards to people who don't use computer a lot, like me. It takes about 24 minutes per day to sync. So if I'm syncing the last week I am going to need about 3 hours to sync it. That's more than I usually spend on the PC. Lol.
Surely there are other ways that these hardware wallets and software wallets guys use ?
Some people use Electrum, personally never trusted it. You store the keys on your device and their electrum server redirects your sends & receiving.
Here is Why: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/ev55na/electrum-bitcoin-wallets-were-vulnerable-to-hackers-for-two-years-json-rpcI would not use it or recommend it due to its vulnerabilities. Which I believe their are more than what they found.

Is it technically possible that anyone who doesn't wanna stake or verify transactions don't need to keep their wallets fully synced and they can just request some number of preferred servers to request information that they are otherwise requesting locally on the synced wallet data ?
To not stake , all you have to do is leave your wallet locked, and it will not stake. However you should be in sync if you are sending coins back and forth, just to be sure the balance is correct. You can just leave the wallet offline, until you want to sync, but the longer you leave it offline the longer your sync time. The only way to avoid having to sync the wallet , is to leave the coins on an exchange, which means you are completely trusting the exchange with your coins. Not recommended, but your decision.

My apologies, I really shouldn't write posts drunk!
I'm basically saying I'd like to help breath some life and originality into this coin. I've got 807 million of them still and I'd like to use some of them to fund projects to save children's lives. I can't do that whilst they are fairly worthless.
As I own a software development company in safety I thought I'd be able to use some of my resources to get Zeit moving.
I gave up on crypto many years ago. I don't remember you from back then but I remember Rent_a_ray.
I very much appreciate you replying to my message. I actually believed the admins had disappeared and thought to provoke someone into responding after having no response through my contact on the Facebook group or this forum, previously.
When I mention owning the coin, I mean who is responsible for maintaining the administration around it. If it is not organised then this would explain why nothing much is happening. From your explanation is sounds like there is some organisation but it's most likely needing more resources and leadership.
I'd like to help out.
Love
Dale p.s. no more provocative drunken messages from me lol! (although I'm happy I got a response!)
Dale, ZEIT was and is always going to take time for adoption to propel its price to the $1 mark and higher. Thinking you are just going to pop in and magically speed up a natural occurring process , is basically just arrogance on your part. ZEIT is progressing even as it's enemies are trying to attack and destroy it. These considerable dumps on the markets / the hacking attacks on the website , are a concentrated effort to crush the spirit of the coin. It will fail , but it must be weathered first. The Price of the coin has increased Multiple Times since you purchased them, and there was a time just a less than a year ago, ZEIT was going for 6 sat, so you could have sold your coins then for thousands of US Dollars. Especially considering at our low point 100 million coins were only costing $75 in 2014. So you have got a profit if you need to cash out. I wish you luck with your venture, but don't really see a way to link the two at the present time. Also no offense, but someone has to be around more than twice every two years for me to take them seriously , not being inebriated during conversations is also a plus. Two years ago you made a similar post in the official zeit forum on the website and disappeared , and now two years later you pop back in all ready to jump in, forgive me if it matters little to the ones that have been here working the entire time.

This is a 4 year old coin. Development path needs to breakthrough to change it in accordance with the present time. No development will die. That's all
That's right a 4 year old coins that outperforms bitcoin & litecoin & dogecoin and does not drain the energy resources of the world to do so. So what development is it missing in your opinion? Because the coin itself works. FYI: How much money are you willing to donate to pay additional developers for these so called developments? FYI2: I paid Poll4all out of my pocket for the conversion code to ULI. It takes a long time to sync the wallet, even if I used SnapShot. Anyway, to help this great project where we can make ETH, BTC donations? In fact, could I give XBC (Bitcoin Plus)? Keep your money , I was making a point that people that whine about additional code development as a blanket statement have no idea about what they want, when I ask them to give a specific thing they want added, they were unable. As technically at this present time, there are no advancements to the current code that makes sense to add. Faster Syncs could always be achieved by losing Transactions capacity. But Transaction Capacity will be more important at a later time so living with a slower sync time is necessary.

Good news from coinmarketcap - I wrote to their support there yesterday to get coinexchange delisted as an exchange for ZEIT. Please describe in as much detail possible what you wish to update. Can you pls delist coinexchange for trading ZEIT coin. They didnt update the zeit wallet so all trades there are useless (same is with yobit). You find that info in zeit communities announcement here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487814.0
And they already fixed that ! Our support rep has indicated that your request has been resolved. Please note that it may take some time for the changes to be reflected on the website. So now I just need another ticket for Cryptopia - but as it works it sure will boost the sales when people start using the active wrking exchanges only ! You need to leave Cryptoia Listing alone, they halted all trading and it has no effect on our Marketcap.CoinMarketcap does not normally act this fast, so when we need to get cryptopia ltc relisted , it may take them months. I repeat Leave the Cryptopia Listing Alone. If you want to do something , see if you can get them to add https://alcurex.com/#ZEIT-BTChttps://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/ZEIT/USDhttps://tradesatoshi.com/Exchange/?market=ZEIT_BCH

Zeitcoins should be safe on cryptopia by now, right? I complained to Coinexchange regarding their disabled wallet, maybe more people should do so.
Cryptopia has always been rock solid, but the rule is never leave more coins sitting on an exchange except the amount you are willing to lose. If you are nervous, you are leaving too many coins out there. Go to the OP, there is a Step by Step Newbie guide. Everyone have complained to CoinExchange, and they lied in their responses. CoinExchange is either incompetent or sold their zeitcoins on other markets , I really don't know which. Someone may have to Sue CoinExchange before we find out which it is.
