Good news from coinmarketcap - I wrote to their support there yesterday to get coinexchange delisted as an exchange for ZEIT. Please describe in as much detail possible what you wish to update. Can you pls delist coinexchange for trading ZEIT coin. They didnt update the zeit wallet so all trades there are useless (same is with yobit). You find that info in zeit communities announcement here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487814.0
And they already fixed that ! Our support rep has indicated that your request has been resolved. Please note that it may take some time for the changes to be reflected on the website. So now I just need another ticket for Cryptopia - but as it works it sure will boost the sales when people start using the active wrking exchanges only !

You need to leave Cryptoia Listing alone, they halted all trading and it has no effect on our Marketcap.CoinMarketcap does not normally act this fast, so when we need to get cryptopia ltc relisted , it may take them months. I repeat Leave the Cryptopia Listing Alone. If you want to do something , see if you can get them to add https://alcurex.com/#ZEIT-BTChttps://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/ZEIT/USDhttps://tradesatoshi.com/Exchange/?market=ZEIT_BCH

Dale, It is a community coin, no single individual is in charge of everything like Charlie Lee in LTC. Currently these are the people volunteering their time and resources. Rent_A_Ray : Maintains the Source code at github Plus other too many numerous things to post (He hosted the website for years and has turned it over to Ebolansk) Ebolansk : Is designing and taking over the web site Kiko: I do Tech Support, Monitor the exchanges, Make sure the BlockExplorer is paid up ZEIT Knights : Each hold 100 million coins to help the price stabilize over time. I also remember you ~2 years ago making a similar post in the official ZEIT Forums and then disappearing until now. 1). Create a new zeitcoin website. EBO said he would do this, and I have no reason to doubt him.2). Produce a new promotional video. Lay out its taking points here , and we can correct any technical errors before you release it. 3). Produce an actual physical Zeitcoin note design (£3,000 by the way, if you wondered, with it's own hologram) By doing this , you Bring the Governments down on the whole community , which right now they can not touch us and I prefer to keep it that way. This can not be supported by the community.4). Get the notes printed by the same company that printed the Bristol Pound in England (check it out, you'll see how REAL I'm being) Same Answer: Bad Idea unless you just want jail time, Look up the guy that produced the Liberty Dollar in the US.5). Design a t-shirt. For Pete Sake, Feel Free and do it at your Desire.6). Connect Zeitcoin with my project www.nationalhomesafetyweek.com (check that out too) My Personal View is No , that ZEIT should stand alone. However you can make your case here and have the community vote on it.7). Produce the worlds first Utopian society free of the shackles of people like George Soros (the gap between 6 and 7 is pretty big) That is going to be the hard part. But we can both agree it needs to happen. My apologies, I really shouldn't write posts drunk! I'm basically saying I'd like to help breath some life and originality into this coin. I've got 807 million of them still and I'd like to use some of them to fund projects to save children's lives. I can't do that whilst they are fairly worthless. As I own a software development company in safety I thought I'd be able to use some of my resources to get Zeit moving. I gave up on crypto many years ago. I don't remember you from back then but I remember Rent_a_ray. I very much appreciate you replying to my message. I actually believed the admins had disappeared and thought to provoke someone into responding after having no response through my contact on the Facebook group or this forum, previously. When I mention owning the coin, I mean who is responsible for maintaining the administration around it. If it is not organised then this would explain why nothing much is happening. From your explanation is sounds like there is some organisation but it's most likely needing more resources and leadership. I'd like to help out. Love Dale p.s. no more provocative drunken messages from me lol! (although I'm happy I got a response!)

This is a 4 year old coin. Development path needs to breakthrough to change it in accordance with the present time. No development will die. That's all
That's right a 4 year old coins that outperforms bitcoin & litecoin & dogecoin and does not drain the energy resources of the world to do so. So what development is it missing in your opinion? Because the coin itself works. FYI: How much money are you willing to donate to pay additional developers for these so called developments? FYI2: I paid Poll4all out of my pocket for the conversion code to ULI. It takes a long time to sync the wallet, even if I used SnapShot. Anyway, to help this great project where we can make ETH, BTC donations? In fact, could I give XBC (Bitcoin Plus)?

Wow quite the manipulation. Bid on southxchange is less than half what it was just a few days ago. Zeit was on a roll there for a bit. Hope getting listings fixed on coinmarketcap helps. And hopefully cryptopia doesnt take their sweet time getting LTC markets reopened.

Keep your money , I was making a point that people that whine about additional code development as a blanket statement have no idea about what they want, when I ask them to give a specific thing they want added, they were unable. As technically at this present time, there are no advancements to the current code that makes sense to add. Faster Syncs could always be achieved by losing Transactions capacity. But Transaction Capacity will be more important at a later time so living with a slower sync time is necessary.

Dale, ZEIT was and is always going to take time for adoption to propel its price to the $1 mark and higher. Thinking you are just going to pop in and magically speed up a natural occurring process , is basically just arrogance on your part. ZEIT is progressing even as it's enemies are trying to attack and destroy it. These considerable dumps on the markets / the hacking attacks on the website , are a concentrated effort to crush the spirit of the coin. It will fail , but it must be weathered first. The Price of the coin has increased Multiple Times since you purchased them, and there was a time just a less than a year ago, ZEIT was going for 6 sat, so you could have sold your coins then for thousands of US Dollars. Especially considering at our low point 100 million coins were only costing $75 in 2014. So you have got a profit if you need to cash out. I wish you luck with your venture, but don't really see a way to link the two at the present time. Also no offense, but someone has to be around more than twice every two years for me to take them seriously , not being inebriated during conversations is also a plus. Two years ago you made a similar post in the official zeit forum on the website and disappeared , and now two years later you pop back in all ready to jump in, forgive me if it matters little to the ones that have been here working the entire time.

To not stake , all you have to do is leave your wallet locked, and it will not stake. However you should be in sync if you are sending coins back and forth, just to be sure the balance is correct. You can just leave the wallet offline, until you want to sync, but the longer you leave it offline the longer your sync time. The only way to avoid having to sync the wallet , is to leave the coins on an exchange, which means you are completely trusting the exchange with your coins. Not recommended, but your decision.

Nopes. Leaving coins on exchange is out of question. Like you say leave the coins you're willing to lose and I am not willing to lose any. My question was more with regards to people who don't use computer a lot, like me. It takes about 24 minutes per day to sync. So if I'm syncing the last week I am going to need about 3 hours to sync it. That's more than I usually spend on the PC. Lol. Surely there are other ways that these hardware wallets and software wallets guys use ?

Some people use Electrum, personally never trusted it. You store the keys on your device and their electrum server redirects your sends & receiving.
Here is Why: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/ev55na/electrum-bitcoin-wallets-were-vulnerable-to-hackers-for-two-years-json-rpcI would not use it or recommend it due to its vulnerabilities. Which I believe their are more than what they found.
