You should test this kind of stuff before posting.  I tried the link earlier, and it did not let me enter a question, but instead prompted me for an answer ! Humaniq please check I will ask the questions thru this forum, and hope Humaniq picks them up. And knowledgeable people here can answer too : 1. TECHNOLOGY : Humaniq success depends on biometric id capability, based on facial, gesture and voice recognition (and not the more mature fingerprinting and iris scans). How mature is this tech (do you have patents / done deep R&D and developed a fool-proof algo ..?). Since free coins will be issued you can be sure there will be Sybil-like attacks, people assuming multiple identities to earn coins. I know you will link it to the phone, but is that sufficient ? 2. USERS : How do you decide who gets to use the Humaniq app when released? Is it universally available for all who download and fulfill pre-requisites (registration, proof-of-face etc...)? In other words, how do you ensure that the needy / poor ( in Africa etc ) are the ones who benefit from the app? Is there a qualification process / criteria / geo limitations etc.? 3. INCLUSIVENESS : While you state that the un-banked will get on to the banking system without the need for government ids, the fact is that they will only be part of a closed Humaniq / HMQ eco-system and not the conventional banking system. Till this eco-system develops or you partner with banks, there is only so much the un-banked can do with free HMQ. Where is the gateway to local fiat currencies for the App users (surely not crypto-exchanges !) Looking forward to some constructive discussion / answers |

If the price of ETH goes up real high, as all here want it to, wont gas get expensive, making the use of Ethereum platform prohibitive ?

No news / clarifications from dev Main site https://humaniq.co/ not updated since Token sale almost a month back. (or is there some other Main site?) As a long term investor, I am looking for some statements and confidence building measures from dev, to continue to hold on to token. Only info being published is too generic / visionary statements Not sure why the humaniq team does not speak the hell up here, but I will say that they do have some pretty active product managers on their slack channel (look for @anton). There's a fair amount of P&D bullshit there too, but a few humaniq employees actually seem to know what the hell is happening. Have also gotten direct responses from founders on my questions. To answer some of your specific questions: - There is a planned web site refresh in the next week or two. Most of the team has been focused on some heavy showing at blockchain expo for the last week or so. - It seems that there is some pretty heavy weight backend block chain development and testing happening at the moment, including whether to use ETH ledger directly, or to use a private node with private node block verifications being cross posted to the public ETH ledger. - Sounds like they're dropping support for iOS, as the target market for their customers is squarely in the Android camp. This is good news, as it allows them to focus dev/outsourcing efforts on the platform that really matters (there's never going to be $20 new iPhones for sale in Africa). Hope this helps. There is no need to worry our team is working hard to release the Beta app in May. As of right now we have released the pre-beta Humaniq version of the application. The completed app will come in July. Not wanting to be condescending here, but I guess perhaps I must. Do you see the specific bullet points that I listed, with details on what is being worked on, and specific meaningful answers? Yeah that's what you need to have someone from your team start doing here. Regularly. What nobody on your team seems to realize yet is the bullshit answers like "don't worry guys, we're workin7 g hard on things... We are doing cool stuff" just makes things worse. You chose to do an ICO and sell a coin into the wild West of crypto. You birthed this baby. You need to manage it in a meaningful way. If you don't have a capable admin here, find one and pay them. Otherwise the FUDders win and your token goes down the shitter. I know that you aren't here to pump a coin, but even if you don't give a damn about your investors, at the very least you have a vested interest in the healthy growth of your token as a funding strategy for your product. Thanks for detailed info hmq_dave, from the Slack channel. Yes Humaniq needs to have a better comms/PR team. Communication style, language and content does not inspire much confidence, even sounds school-boyish. It makes you wonder if the project has been thought thru even. Sorry to sound so negative, but one tends to naturally compare with the solid business plans and slick communication of some of the leading crypto projects -- and find Humaniq PR so deficient. On the positive side Cointelegraph listing Humaniq as top 7 Fintech cryptos is as external validation and very encouraging. |

So from what you guys are saying, and the 800,000,000 million coins will be given with the app.. does that mean once they are released in the app 800,000,000 million coins that suddenly enter the market will make the price drop 90% via the market cap? Because if thats the case i am out.
New HMQ will be released (some x HMQ, per new user) incrementally (over months and years?), depending on rate of adoption More HMQ is released if and only if more users are using App -- which would indicate that Humaniq App is popular and is adding value to under-banked -- leading to a rise in HMQ demand and price? My simplistic view |

So is the other 800,000,000 million coins pre-mined or is someone mining them? Because according to coinmarketcap this coin isnt mineable. Amd at what rate are these new coins being injected in at? Ive noticed over 10 million coins released over the last week.
The funds you are talking about is I guess are unsold tokens which are locked and can't be used (not sure). Guess dev should clarify. My understanding is that the 800 m or so tokens will be the free HMQ that users of the App (available in July for the unbanked) will get as soon as they register (based on the formula in whitepaper, pls read). This is the incentive for the poor to use this app. I am not sure about the recent release of 10m coins. I am not clear how Humaniq will restrict app and free HMQ to only the needy, when anyone can download the App, do a proof-of-face and earn free HMQ. Had aked this question earlier in this forum |

I have a very basic question about the Humaniq scheme.
When the Humaniq app / wallet is eventually available to all, how does Humanique ensure that ONLY the truly needy (2.5 billion poor / un-banked) register and earn free HMQ coins after Proof-of-face verification? Anyone around the world (not just the needy, but the greedy too) can download the app, register and get free HMQ.
Anyone?

It is surprising that the main website humaniq.co (which CoinMarketCap,com points to) has not been updated since the countdown to Token transfer was over, around 10 days back. The home screen still shows a count-down clock!
This is the site that all prospective investors would first visit, to know more about Humaniq and the project. And which is the central source of info for those already invested? Facebook, Slack, Twitter, Bitcointalk,,, are more of info feeds and discussions. There is no place that hosts key info related to ICO, follow-up, list of exchanges, project updates...(should ideally be Humaniq.co, since it is the link given to CoinMarketCap,com).
Is this something basic that should be there, or are my expectations unrealistic?

Poloniex announces listing of new Cryptos on their exchange Notice board, much in advance of actual listing (as in the GNO case below) :
"Gnosis GNO tokens will be available for trading on Poloniex one week after the close of the auction.Posted by OldManKidd at 2017-04-24 19:28:26"
No such announcement for HMQ.

Can someone from Humaniq comment on why the main site ( https://humaniq.co) is still showing outdated token sale info, when currently HQM is listed and trading? Why is something as basic as this, not being handled? Such callous approach will raise questions about the professionalism of the founding team, and damage prospects of HMQ and the project. Humaniq team  |

921 Million Tokens In Total
But only 164 Million were released to investors.
So does that mean that the team is holding 921-164 = 757 Million HMQ?
As far as I know, majority of the remaining HMQ will be issued to end users (of the Humaniq App) when they register and do the bio-metric identification |

Why is humaniq.co (projects main site?) not being updated for latest info? It still shows obsolete Token transfer info. Which is the central site/source for ICO investors/public to get the info on Dates/Exchanges/Wallets/Tech details like Contract address etc?
The only info we get is what is gathered from posts in forum like this, and not a central source
Communication leaves much to be desired, and does not build confidence in team / project. Please focus on this
