I want to preorder KNCMiner to my friend's addreess, using his name on shipping address and my name on billing address.
When the miner ships, I will fly to him to pick up the miner.
How can I return VAT at the airport when leaving with miner? What papers do I need to request from kncminer?

У меня получается максимум 720 кхешей, при 1100\1500 и биосе F72.

 

Господа, есть пустой гараж с голыми кирпичными стенами.
Там сейчас стоит 44 видеокарты (~250 ватт каждая, считай всего ~10-11 киловатт), но планирую поставить 80 карт.

На выдув вверху просверлена труба и в конце трубы (около улицы) стоит осевой вентилятор диаметром 300 мм.

Вот такой, где-то 1900 кубометров в час.

На вдув стоит канальный вентилятор, правда диаметром 160 мм (труба такая).

Расход где-то 600-750 кубометров. Также открыта дверца в погреб, откуда типа посасывает воздух, чтобы замещать выдавленный вытяжным.
И в самой входной двери в комнату (тонкая железная дверь) просверлено более сотни дырок, чтобы из холодного гаражного коридора тоже сосало холодный воздух.

Плюс висит кондиционер, всегда работающий на максимуме, с заявленной охладительной мощностью 6 киловатт.

Короче, сейчас даже при 11 запущенных ригах начинается пипец, температура до 34 поднимается в гараже, сухо, дышать невозможно. Переживаю за вероятность возникновения пожара и все такое. Как только выключаю одну ригу, с 10 становится заметно лучше.
Что я делаю не так? Как мне поставить 20 риг?
Подскажите, ведь я знаю что здесь очень много реально шарящих инженеров. Если получится, отблагодарю денюжкой.

Guys, are there any parameters (arguments) I should use with CGMiner to reduce the amount of Rejects?
I had ~0.30% rejects at another LTC pool, but now having ~ 1.8-2% on WeMineLTC. I use pool's stratum of course.
Most rejects are: "Job #### not found"

Guys, I got 2 problems with my 4 x 7970 Gigabyte OC mining rig

The 1st problem is when 4 cards running with attached monitor, the one with monitor cable connected is always 100 Khashes slower than others (at skrypt algorithm). It is always the nearest PCI-E slot to CPU fan on motherboard.

GPU 2 = 1st slot on the mother board (nearest to CPU Fan)

I tried to swap the 1st (the one with monitor cable connected) with 2nd or 3rd cards. Nothing had changed: the card on which I replaced was still slower than 3 others..

Then I detached monitor and a second problem has arisen.
I started remote desktop connection via RAdmin (also tried LogMeIn) to connect to my rig, then launched CGMiner.
Here's what I got:

GPU 2 = 1st slot on the mother board (nearest to CPU Fan)

I assume the temperatures and fan speeds disappeared due to a mismatch of OpenCL and ADL devices (according to the following text at cgminer's start):

Tried to search the forum, but did not find the solution how to "use the gpu map feature".

Is it possible to find open-source schemes in Gerber format of 32- or 64-Avalon ASIC chips miners ?

Тут уже упоминали магниты для остановки электросчетчиков.
Но хотелось бы выяснить несколько моментов по-подробнее.

Всем ясно-понятно, что счетчик останавливать - аморально, формально - противозаконно и все такое.
Но как это обстоит на практике?
1) У меня дом 2 подъезда, в каждом по 10 квартир. Дом новый, поэтому стоят общедомовые счетчики.
Вопрос: если я поставлю у себя серьезный сетап для майнинга (не 2-4 карточки, а допустим 30-60) и остановлю счетчик. Появится ли в ежемесячном счете за коммунальные услуги у других жильцов моя "остановленная" электроэнергия разделить на количество квартир в доме?
2) Говорят, кто-то ходит проверяет раз в месяц или в 2 счетчики в каждом подъезде.
Они могут как-то спалить? Тот, кто проверяет, явно не вскрывает щиток, а просто смотрит на показания в маленькое окошечко щитка.

I think it is incorrect to calculate like this: "60 video cards = 60 x 200 watts = 12 kilowatts of heat, so you need 4 x 3 KW air conditioners to cool it".

Прочитал в англоязычном треде, что для фарма лайтов в ферме нужно иметь по 2гб оперативы на каждую 7950/7970. Объясните, пожалуйста, почему?

Господа, объясните, в чем "прикол".
Есть две биржи: btc-e и mtgox.
На гоксе курс стабильно выше, чем на btc-e.

Почему нельзя сделать следующее:
Берем X тысяч долларов, идем на btc-e, покупаем битки скажем по условным 100$ за 1 BTC.
Выводим битки на кошелек с микро-комиссией бтц-е. Заходим на GOX, продаем битки по 118$ за 1 шт.
Выводим доллары. Повторяем процедуру.
