1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [PRE-ANN] BACS COIN - Decentralise Card Payments - Team Building Partnership on: April 11, 2021, 09:53:31 AM
As the name of the coin suggests, we're looking at the feasibility of a coin, built on the Binance chain, which will decentralise card payments.

If you're a merchant then you'll know the fees you pay to companies like World Pay for their card payment solutions.  These companies make a ton of money charging merchant fees for card transactions.

Lately I've noticed a few merchants who have stopped taking card payments to avoid their fees. Instead, they ask for BACS payments.  Understandably, it's free to accept BACS payments but it's quite cumbersome trying to add new recipients and verify.

So, there's a gap in the market for a tech that let's merchants take BACS payments with the scan of a QR code.

So, the token we wish to develop allows the blockchain to record each transaction. The merchant has an app that's integrated into the blockchain and let's them enter USD or GBP amounts. Payment is processed in BACS COIN and instantly converted to a stable coin in merchant wallet.

This is a pre announcement. We're looking to build a team of equal share partners to develop and market this token tech.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Silk Road Peaks and Troughs on: July 07, 2017, 01:39:00 PM
Has anyone noticed that the price of BTC and ETH (which seem to be correlated) always goes down on a Friday, down more on a Saturday, then down to a low point on a Sunday before steadily climbing Monday to a high on a Thursday?

I have a theory that people need BTC on weekdays to get their drugs on Silk Road onion site so demand is higher through the week as they procure their powder for the weekend activities.  Everyone is sorted at the weekend and you can't get anything in the post on weekends so demand for coin goes down.  Until Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This is a definite pattern and I've seen it happen for weeks now.  Every week it's the same and it's already dropped really low today (Friday).

If this pattern is true then there are short term strategy gains to be made by purchasing loads on a Sunday afternoon and offloading them on a Wednesday night or Thursday morning.  This is particularly noticeable with ETH with low/high ratio as much as 65%
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Neverdie Coins - Ever Heard of These? Anyone Buying Them? on: July 04, 2017, 07:36:58 PM
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/neverdie-teleportation-ico-monetize-infrastructure-040500766.html

I've seen a few articles about this Korean ICO and I'm just looking to open a discussion about them.  They interest me because they're aimed at the VR world and job creation with coins for mining, coins for gaming and coins for working.  Take a look at their site, here::

https://neverdie.com/

It's built on the Ethereum platform.  Is anyone buying into this coin?  What are your thoughts?
