You've been preaching $300k-1M+ USD / BTC this year, so why not bet some BTC on it? Surely you have some extra sitting in cold reserves, considering you're so super-bullish. Easy way to gain some from me and probably others willing to take you on.

I was thinking the bet should be something like this:

There will be meaningful volume (1k+ BTC) traded at over $300k per BTC during 2013 on the top bitcoin exchange. The volume is to discount technicalities like bugs showing unreal highs, which sometimes happens.

I would be willing to do 1:1, and any 0-100 BTC amount.

I submitted a ticket about this a couple of weeks ago, they said they're working on it.

However, they still haven't managed to fix the bug.



See those 3 red spikes and 1 green spike? They're not errors in bitcoinity, but trades going through at around +-10% from the spot price. Note that there is are no volume spikes; the orderbook obviously wasn't cleared, it's just one or a few trades.

It's pretty rare and I don't know exactly what triggers it, but it's rather serious. Be careful when doing limit orders in bitstamp, or your trade might go through at a bad price.

After massive growth this week, and a hefty weekend dip, do you believe we'll keep going up next week? Or is it time to consolidate or go downwards?

I'm looking to buy some steam games on sale today from someone with access to USD prices (curse you regional pricing!).

I'll be paying with bitcoins, current price + 10% extra to make it worth your while.
