2  Bitcoin / Project Development / To accelerate the mass adaptation to cryptocurrency - [New Update, Telegram Bot] on: March 06, 2019, 08:45:57 AM
Hello there. Recently me and my friend has created a program to allow merchant accepting bitcoin for their online shop.

We have been frustrated with our previous attempt to create a bitcoin friendly shop before and vowed to create something more friendly to merchants.

The idea is to make the installation as stupid as possible. No third party, no fees, no long syncing. what you have to do is to provide your xpub (master public key) and it will be ready to use.

You control your own bitcoin. you can setup your wallet using any medium, it will only need your xpub to work.

It is still in early stage development. I hope you guys can contribute to make this project bigger and better.

We name this project "Bitcart". Although there is a lot of project named as such, but we are sure this project will attract different audiences.

You can check out our project. We are open to ideas and suggestions.

https://t.me/bitcartcc
https://github.com/MrNaif2018/bitcart

python rocks!!!

UPDATES:
[Installation using telegram bot]

Ok, new update for our progress. We have variety of installation method.

What is this installation will do? As im not a technical person, the simplest analogy is, If you install bitcart, you are the site owner/server owner.

Which mean, you can host their shop in your server.  in other word, you are the "shopify" for your user. your user can setup their shop as simple as 3 click.

1. pick a shop template.
2. add xpub to generate receiving addresses.
3. point A record to the server under your server.

First installation method:

1.Head up here, https://github.com/MrNaif2018/bitcart-docker
2. read and read and read follow instructions
3. and then read and read and follow instruction. (until now, I still dont know what is this docker thing means. zzz)

OR

You can just use your telegram:

1. Search for this bot @bitcartinstallerbot
2. insert your server ip, username, password
3. BOOM.. installed!!

In near future, we complete various shop template so your user can use.
Also, we will have a telegram bot for server owner. So, your user, can just use telegram to setup their shop.
1. start bot
2. send xpub
3. send product picture
4. product details.
5. Ip address will be given to update their A record.
6. BOOM.. they can start selling.

Hello there, Im using electrum server for my apps, im trying to notify user that their payment has been successful.

4  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Someone says about "running your own full node" but.. on: November 07, 2018, 12:56:52 PM
Hello guys,

Someone told me if im serious about my business I should run my full nodes.

But since 1 month ago, problem after problems arise, I cant seems to make it work.

First setting up full nodes. I use prune 5000, it took me 5 days to sync.

and then setting up wallet, After 3 days, painfully understanding bitcoin, the bip32 and bitcoin addresses, I understand that I need xpub to generate billions of addresses to receive payments. (3 days because clearly my bitcoin understanding solely from my friends are actually a fucked up, never ever listen to your friends, they dont know nothing, they only want to show how big their cock is)

and then after succeeding setting up deposit addresses, new problem arise, which is payment notification. I cant notify payments. using walletnotify (fuck you). using nbxplorer (also fuck you), blockchain.info api need to wait for application to approve (motherfucking fuck you), block.io needs to pay (fuck you), blockcyhper.com lure you in and ask you pay later (pedophile style fuck you)

I am wondering, why the fuck is this so complicated like fuck? thousands of people are using bitcoin to accept payments, how do they do that? are they all are only using 3rd party merchant to accept payments?

I read on the internet, all people say running your own nodes are better, run your own machine better, buy your own mining machine better, fuck your own wife better, fuck your cat better.

are all these people are only parroting what others said and never do it themselves?

What I want to do is fucking simple.

I want to receive payments and I want to send payouts.

why the fuck is this so fucking hards?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Succeed placing xpub to generate unlimited receiving address. But how to pay? on: November 05, 2018, 06:17:39 PM
Hello there,

I have succeeded creating unlimited address for my user for my website.

so now everytime they want to deposit, my xpub will generate addresses for them.

but how to do automatic payment? like when they request for withdrawal, fund from my hot wallet will pay them instantly.

Can someone explian?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Question: Generating address in bitcoin core using my xpub on: November 03, 2018, 03:22:44 AM
Hi there, from my understanding, generating an address will also generating private key assosiated to that address simultaniously

but, If I generate address using master public key in my server (xpub), where is the private key stored?

so now I have electrum wallet, I use my wallet's xpub to generate address in my website.

but how can I sign transaction? using my master private key? (xprv)

9  Economy / Service Discussion / Blockexplorer.com have error - Testing BTC Pay server Now. on: October 13, 2018, 08:07:36 AM
Hello guys, I try to use blockexplorer.com to verify transaction in my app.

I was using testnet for the whole time. (since 2 months ago, for testing)

But suddenly my app cant verify transaction even if the btc was sent.

So I thought there is some problem with testnet. and then decided to change to main net.

but after the change, the same problem appear.

And today I learned that the problem was with blockexplorer.com

I change the verification handler for my app to blockchain.info, and it worked fine now.

=========================================================

pooya87 is correct. If you're serious about your project and you are going to receive a considerable amount of payments so downtimes are not an option, maybe going with a payment processor is a much better option. I believe you have decent knowledge when it comes to coding, so maybe running BTCPayServer is also something you might want to look at: https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver

=========================================================

So as per suggestion, Im studying btcpayserver now.
You guys may contribute your solutions too.
will keep updating.

18  Other / Off-topic / Your "nigerian prince" experience. on: July 09, 2018, 01:22:44 PM
We all have encountered Nigerian scams tactic.

Nigerian scammer are everywhere.

In online marketplace website, online bidding, old coin collector, bitcoin, eth, upwork, fiverr and many other places.

As if they have school up there in nigeria to teach people how to scam.

In the old days, they will say that they are dying prince from nigeria with multibillion dollars money, and need some money from you for paying lawyers and legal procedure.

Their main MO are usually the same. they want you to send some money as a fees for them to release whatever they had promised you.

now I would like to see your experience with nigerians, and let others learn from your experience on their trick to lure you into their trap.  Grin
