Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Trustless crowdfunding in bitcoin
|
on: April 24, 2016, 06:34:53 PM
|
I am trying to understand if there is a way in Bitcoin to perform a trustless crowdfunding campaign.
I mean: establish an amount of bitcoin, let the people send bitcoins to an address until a certain date. If before the date the established amount of bitcoin is reached, all the bitcoins are unblocked and spendable, otherwise the go back to the senders.
Is that possible?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Escrow service
|
on: April 15, 2016, 05:24:20 PM

Suppose I want to pay someone by passing through an escrow guy. I want to use multisig. I want to be able to send money to the multisig that can be redeemed if 2 out of 3 agree (either I and the seller, I and the escrow guy, the escrow guy and the seller). You get the point.
Is there an *easy* way to do that today with bitcoin? I mean, without being required to use the command line to prepare the addresses, and the what...
Thanks, ilpirata79

Economy / Services / Conversion of a website based on Moodle 1.15 to latest Moodle version
|
on: April 15, 2016, 03:51:22 PM
|
Hi,
I am looking for an expert on Moodle who could port a website based on moodle 1.15 to the latest Moodle version.
It would work like this: I send the moodledata directory, the config.php and the database dump and I receive the same things updated to work with the latest Moodle version.
Escrow, if requested.
Payment in bitcoin.

Local / Mining (Italiano) / Costo energia
|
on: March 08, 2014, 02:41:36 PM

Ciao ragazzi,
Voi?
Saluti, ilpirata79

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Broken video cards
|
on: February 03, 2014, 12:51:48 AM
|
Hi everyone,
I have two video cards from sapphire (hd 7950) that do not work anymore.
I have used them for mining for a couple of weeks (with cgminer, temperature set to 75° celsius maximum).
Do you think I can ask for a replacement of such cards? Do you have any experiences?
I bougth them abroad (in the uk)... do I have to ship them there in that case or I can send them somewhere in Italy?
Best regards, ilpirata79

Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Transform a 16x -> 16x riser into a 1x -> 16x
|
on: February 02, 2014, 01:20:49 AM

Hi everyone,
what about if I just cut the the additional line of a 16x -> 16x riser cable to make it a 1x -> 16x cable?
I want to do that because I don't want to use all the line of the slots which should (if I understood correctly) allow me to use more cards per board.
Best regards, ilpirata79
p.s. I am mining alt. coins and converting to btc

Economy / Service Discussion / Trusted account on MtGox
|
on: January 22, 2014, 01:39:41 PM
|
Hi everyone,
I am trying to reach the status of trusted on mtgox.
I have prepared the following documentation:
a notary authenticated copy of my ID the original copy of a certificate of residency issued by my local government.
The next step now is the translation and apposition of the apostille by the tribunale (court).
I have a doubt regarding the requisite that the documents must contain the wording: "Notarization for the purpose of verifying on MtGox.com"
I don't know who is supposed to put such a note on the documents. The notary wouldn't do it because there is no notion of "notarization" in Italy, or at least she (is a woman) cannot state such thing because she can just say that the copy of the ID is equal to the original.
The certificate of residency on the other hand is not even notarized as it is the original copy (as released by my town), so how can someone put that note on it. Btw, should I make a notarized copy of it too even if I can send the original?
I would be very grateful if someone could shed some light on the procedure. As I said I am from Italy.
Best regards, ilpirata79
