1  Other / MultiBit / Multibit: wallet shows spendable amount with 0.0001 on: August 01, 2016, 01:33:05 PM
Dear forum

I am kinda lost here and hope someone can help.

I want to send someones BTC that are being kept in Multibit to my Trezor but we can't. There is an error message, saying:
"There are not enough funds in this wallet to send x BTC. You can only spend your "Availiable to spend" balance. Remember that the sender pays a fee".

So basically Multibit is telling me that even tough my wallet contains x BTC worth X Dollars, there are only 0.001 BTC avaliable to spend.

I have googled quite a bit but haven't been able to fix the issue. It might have something to do with an outgoing transcation from the Multibit wallet, that didn't go trought. It says under transactions "This transaction is not yet confirmed. Seen by 1 peer." The mentioned transaction was a very small transaction (around 2 dollars only) and is more than a month old. The value of of my actual wallet balance is many times the value of this unconfirmed transaction, so I don't see how this stuck transaction can block all my funds?

Any help is appreciated!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My whole family is into Bitcoin on: November 25, 2013, 08:32:45 PM
Both my parents and my brother wired me some money to buy coins for them  Smiley
Triggered mostly by the massive media coverage in the German speaking area in the last few days.

I had to do a lot of explaining and especially my parents would never have been able to set up and back up their wallet (they don't really speak english). So think about what will happend when it will be really easy for Joe Everybody to buy coins.. Holy shiiit..

For my brother it was easier to educate himself after I pointed him toward the "Bitcoin 101 Blackboard" series on Youtube. Btw: I really ecourage you to show them to anybody that is interested in BTC. De Angelo does a great job explaining the BTC ecosystem.

People at work start asking about BTC more often too because they know I own some.

Hold tight, we are in for a ride!  Grin Grin
3  Local / Deutsch (German) / Wertsteigerung Casascius Coins u.ä on: November 20, 2013, 06:21:19 PM
Hallo Forum

4  Local / Auktionen / Weihnachtsgeschenk? Xbox 360, 6 Controller, 3 Headsets, 25 Spiele on: November 18, 2013, 05:00:02 PM
Hallo zusammen

Ich suche einen Abnehmer für meine Xbox 360. Grund: Am Freitag hole ich mir die Xbox One.

Es handelt sich um die Xbox 360 Slim Edition mit der 250GB Harddisk. Alter, ca 2 Jahre.

Spiele:
Metro Last Light, Medal Of Honor Warfighter, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Homefront, Dead island Riptide, Sleeping Dogs, Dead Space 3, Far Cry 3, Saints Row 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Fight Night Champion (Spielehülle etwas angekokkelt...), Die Sims 3, Rainbow Six Vegas, UFC Trainer (Kinect), Dance Central (Kinect), Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Bulletsorm, Fifa 11, Fifa 13, COD Modern Warfare, Guitar Hero, Tropico 4, Dead Rising 2, Battelfield Bad Company, The Elder Scrolls Skyrim

Smiley

Bei fragen fragen!

5  Other / Beginners & Help / bitcoin qt wallet on USB seems to be reseted - i fear i lost EVERYTHING! on: May 10, 2013, 10:52:51 PM
guys, i am sitting in front of my computer literally shaking, sweating and chewing my fingernails off.. it seems that something terrible has happened to me and i don't know what to do!!
i just pluged in my USB drive where i have my bitcoin-qt wallet stored. i wanted to send some of newly bought BTC from mtgox to my wallet. i haven't opened my wallet for about a week so i expected that i need to load a pile of blocks first.

but what almost made me shit my pants is the fact that i was ALWAYS able to see my wallet overview with the actual data (overview/amount of coins, open transactions etc.) whenever i did that- even if the blocks needed to update. but today- nothing!!the look and feel is when i started the wallte for the first time. it actually gives me the option to encrypt my wallet, even tough that was one of the first things i did when i used it for the first time!

i am now really afraid that i lost everything as my wallet seems to be reseted or something. and i don't now what to do if this is really the case. it would mean that i would have lost about 3k (roghly 30 coins) in FIAT. and these are pretty much my whole savings!!!!! i now i wasn't supposed to invest money i can't afford to loose. but i don't gamble with my BTC, no trading, i encrypted my wallet, stored it on a USB because i believed it wouldn't be safe on my computer and so on. i invested the money because i am sure BTC will take off one day and give me and my loved ones a chance for a better life.
i won't starve if my wallet is really lost, but my savings would be gone.... and that would hurt me. no way i would be able to buy new coins. all i have left are like 1.8 coins on mt gox.

can anybodyy help me, tell me what might has happened? i have not fully loaded the blocks and exited the wallet because i am afraid that it might overwrite old date that could be somewhere on the USB drive.
i have been googeling to see if the data doesn't show up because i havent used the wallet for approx. a week but i haven't found people with the same issue and i am afraid to try what happens.
i am also searching the internet for information on how to restore data on USB drives. but again, i don't know where the date could have gone.. nobody is using this drive except me and the folder with bitcoin-qt is still there, everything looked the same when i started it..

does anybody have an idea what i have done wrong and how to solve that? please, i'd be willing to to give that person that can help me getting back the about 30 coins in my wallet the coins i still have on mtgox (roughly 1.8 BTC). please guys, i don't wan't to loose my savings and be THAT guy while i have told all my friends and co-workers they should invest because this is a great thing to do.

sorry if i come across crazy but i am really on the edge of breaking down, in my life i have never felt this helpless and you people seem to be the only ones that can help me out here.

any help is much appreciated- thank you so much!
