3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Add V8 and Stellite support to SGminer? on: November 22, 2018, 06:20:25 PM
Can anyone here do this?  I am no developer so a bounty might be in order.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Burst attack (message spam) Ideas to stop it. on: July 22, 2017, 07:38:39 PM
Thread to post ideas for wallet update to stop the message spam attack on Burst.  I think messages should increasingly cost more with in a 1 minute time frame.

Maybe double the fee for every message sent in that time frame from the same address.  Allowing the blocking of certain senders might help as well.

Thoughts?
5  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Nvidia and AMD GPUs and older SHA256 ASICs on: February 05, 2017, 02:35:02 PM
I am downsizing due to an impending move.  Looking to sell most of my farm.  Will list GPUs here and continue to add to the list if a have more to sell.  Amounts will be in US dollars but I will accept Bitcoin (Coinbase rate).  You can pay me directly or use an escrow that we both agree upon.  Will ship anywhere but shipping is to be paid buy the buyer.

Edit (3/28): I also accept Ethereum, Expanse, and Zcash as well.  I use Poloniex exchange rate at time of sale.

Here is what I have presently.

1X 290x 4GB reference.  Sappire with Accelero Xtreme cooler branded.                                             $200  Ea plus shipping

1x 295x2  Use this card in a crossfire setup for gaming.  8Gb card (2 x 290x)                                     $495 Ea plus shipping

1 x 7970  Reference and clocked at 925Mhz                                                                                 $90  Ea plus shipping

5 x 380x  These are Gigabyte G1 gaming cards.  Purchased new and have boxes.                               $145 Ea plus shipping (added 3/8)

All cards are tested and confirmed fully functional.  These cards have been tested in games and mining.  This is not all.  I will be adding more
cards as I test them and take pictures.  Cards will be cleaned/vacuumed but may still contain small amounts of dust. Will include boxes if I have
them.

Here are some of the cards I will add.

7990's, 290's, more 280/280x's and 7950/70's.  Maybe some 270/270x's.

Edit: added Bitcoin Asics:

Original block erupters with packaging, various colors.

Many BFL monarchs.  Almost all are 100% functional.  Maybe 3 parts boards.
Asicminer tubes, 800Gh each.  These include the controllers.
Some Avalon stuff.  Mostly 3rd gen.
Terraminer parts. boards and watercooling.
A Spondoolies SP31 that has 4-5 dead ASICs but hashes fine.
Many antminer S1s, 180Gh or 100Gh each. (some are underclocked/volted for efficiency)

ALL of these work.  If they don't this is noted.

Will list more/update quantities  when I look in my storage unit. Cheesy

8  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Looking for DEAD mining hardware! What have you got? post here or PM on: January 17, 2016, 03:13:54 PM
Prefer US sellers due to shipping costs.  Can arrange pickup if you are close.

Types of things I am interested in:

Water-cooled miners with a non-functioning water cooling system.

Miners that don't power on / do nothing.

Miners that come on, but misbehave in some way(s).

Miners that have dead chips or hash at a lower than expected rate.

Scrypt or sha-256 are OK.

Prefer complete miners, but let me know what you have.

Would be willing to pay shipping, escrow, and small amount for trouble of packaging.  Would pay more for miners that only have small problems.

Thanks!

Edit00: Have had some offer me gridseed pods.  I have lots of those but would be intersted in a G-blade.  Working or not. Wink

Edit01: Due to difficulty increases, only looking for broken newer stuff.  Thanks to everyone for your offers!
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / BFGminer high cpu usage. on: November 09, 2015, 12:49:07 AM
Anyone had any problems with BFGminer and high cpu usage in Windows 7 X64.  I am only using monarchs.  Seems like the more cards I add, the higher the

usage.  The system has a modern Intel cpu and is dedicated to coin mining, 16 monarchs connected using Bfgminer 5.3.0.

Thanks!
10  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitcoin/USD exchange rate going up. Anyone turning old gear back on? on: November 04, 2015, 04:55:10 AM
I have some (alot) of 1w/Gh gear.  High power bills be damned, I am turning it back on!  Going to be a really warm winter.

Anybody else doing this?  At this rate, I might even dust off my underclocked singles. Cheesy
11  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Monarchs, working or not working. on: August 16, 2015, 03:03:45 AM
PM or post here with offers.  Not working is OK, must include water cooling components.  US sellers only.  Paying with BTC only.

Thanks!
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Monarch firmware, will BFL release the source code? on: May 07, 2015, 04:09:43 AM
I would love to tweak the firmware for these cards.  Most of mine have 1.4.2.  One has 1.4.3.

First thing to do is remove that pesky voltage cap of 630mv! Seems these things prefer the voltage just a bit higher, maybe 650mv.

I fear that with all that is going on with that company we may never see it released.  Unless someone can pull it off of one. Wink
13  Economy / Computer hardware / U3 WTB/S was Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: April 18, 2015, 04:16:47 AM
Anybody have a couple of these for sale?  I am interested in 2-3 for tinkering.  Can pay with BTC. Wink

Would buy from Bitmain but  I don't need/want 20 of them. Tongue
14  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] USB miners for experimenting. Whatcha got? on: April 12, 2015, 04:33:21 PM
As title says, looking for USB sticks.  Especially interested in Bitfury and Antminer stuff.  I will pay shipping inside US.  Not interested in large lots unless they

are SUPER cheap (<10 cent per GH).  I can pay up tp $1 per GH depending on what you have.  Prefer escrow through Ognasty.

Thanks!
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Update Miner manager firmware of Avalon 2/3, easiest way? on: November 28, 2014, 10:11:03 PM
I want to update the firmware (MM) of my Avalon 3 blades.  What is the easiest way to do this.

The instructions here :https://github.com/Canaan-Creative/MM indicate that you need ISE to do this.  Would it be possible to just remove the EPROM and flash

it with the appropriate hex/bin image?  Anywhere I could download a pre-built image?

Thanks!

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Asicminer Gen 3 Why is it called that? on: September 19, 2014, 08:37:26 PM
Would it not be gen 2. Huh  The original block erupters where BE100 and these are BE200.  Why does everyone refer to it as gen 3?  Did something come before the

BE100?  Maybe FPGA?

Can anyone enlighten me?
19  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] bare Asicminer BE200 chips on: September 18, 2014, 01:03:46 AM
Looking to buy around 5 BE200 chips.  PM if you can sell this low of quantity.  Offering $6-$7 per unit.  Can pay with Bitcoin at Coinbase rate as well.
20  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Loose bitfury V2 chips on: July 01, 2014, 05:25:17 PM
